Excellent value for money. This is a B&B part of a pub. The location is fairly good for the city centre; it is on the same side of the city as the railway station (and the cathedral, which is what we were visiting), the room was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. On one of the nights we stayed there, the pub had a party, but the noise did not disturb us in our room. We should definitely consider coming back again.

Neither of these issues bothered us, but: (i) be aware that the hotel is at the top of a steep hill; (ii) the building is comfortable but not picturesque. Other hotels in Norwich are more beautiful (at the appropriate price!).

Very pleasant room with all the facilities you could want. Coffee machine with nice capsules included at no extra cost. The bed was far too soft for me but for others it would be perfect. The owners of the B&B are lovely, could not be more attentive and accommodating. EV charger on site and at a reasonable cost was very welcome after a 180 mile trip to Norwich. To top it off, it located above a proper pub complete with pool tables, dart boards and good selection of drinks. Breakfast was excellent and the options available to you very impressive.

If being really picky, the water pressure in the shower could be improved.

The location was great - not in the centre of Norwich and only a 15-20 min walk from castle. It only took five minutes to drive from the station. For a pub, it was quiet and the staff were very helpful. Lorraine was welcoming and helpful. The area is full of lovely properties which create a country atmosphere, and I felt safe walking here during the day. Generous serving of breakfast with many options.

I thought the cars that parked close to my window could be kept at least a metre away, especially as I felt that people could look into my room. Otherwise all was good. Although the property was not that stylish, it had a charm - a vintage look. At a time where all b&bs look the same, this was original.

I enjoyed the facilities in my room, not often do you get a coffee machine, fridge a brilliant idea, portable tables to work or eat from, iron and ironing board, safe, good size bathroom, bed was clean and comfy, happy I was ground floor, with mobility problems, I think 2 rooms ground floor and the family rooms and other rooms upstairs. Had a party on nextdoor bar so enjoyed the music, liked the Historic building.. Got taxis there has unsure of walking up hill and not sure how far away it was etc. But walked back to train station took me a little longer 22mins. 15mins for a good walker. Reasonable size back garden, was lovely with sun shining a covered area with TV. Staff were welcoming. Had a relaxing evening 👍. Had a good breakfast which was included in price. Nice cooked breakfast, help yourself to Fruit juice, cereal, fruit etc.

Nothing.. It done what it was suppose to do.. Accommodation purposes.

This was a back street pub with rooms. We were pleasantly surprised that there was very little noise (if any) from the pub when we retired to our room. The room we had was comfortable and reasonably well decorated. There was the odd bit of peeling paint in the bathrrom but this wasn't a problem for us. There was a good choice for breakfast with cereals/juice/tea/coffee etc. being self service and cooked elements to order. There was a good sized car park. The pub was within easy walking distance of the cathedral area (as long as you can manage a steep hill).

They didn't seem to supply de-caffeinated tea bags but we always take our own so this wasn't an issue. The pub itself was a bit spartan with a number of pool tables but we only used it for our breakfasts so can't really say what the evening ambience was like.

The size of the room was good. Separate sitting area. Plenty of places to put stuff. We liked the TV with access to free streaming apps such as iPlayer and ITVX etc. Good beverage table and a mini fridge. Breakfast was plentiful and nicely cooked. Also had a breakfast bar to help yourself to juice cereal yoghurt fruit tea and coffee. Easy parking and separate entry for B&B guests. ,10 minutes to drive into the centre of Norwich. Even though it's a pub, it wasn't noisy at night. Friendly staff too 😁.

A little bit rough around the edges but it's a local pub!

A value for money stay. Staff were welcoming, caring and attentive. The room was spacious with a large adjoining en-suite shower room. The breakfast was definitely a ‘Full Breakfast’ and the catering team took great care to ensure my dietary needs were met. There was a party being held in the Function Room on the day of my arrival. I was warned of this in advance and the music ended promptly at the time stated. Consequently, I was not troubled by this prior booking. Thank you all.

NOTHING. The William IV provided me with great value for money accommodation, on site parking and a great breakfast all within walking distance of the Norwich City Centre and riverside life.

Booked 3 rooms for 1 night for occsssion in a nearby hotel. Very welcoming and friendly on arrival despite being extremely busy with a full pub on match day, taken to rooms and full explaination of facilities. Rooms ready, clean and value for money, typical B+B over a busy local pub. Pub grub lunch menu well priced, well cooked and well presented- apologies by staff given for short delay due to match day crowd but we didnt notice as too busy chatting in our group but it was example of good customer service to address this. Breakfast menu good and generous amount on plate so we didnt leave hungry!! Would definitely book in again and thank you to staff for making our stay very easy.

Nothing that the owners can change but car parking might be problematic - there is a smallish car park which we actually managed to squeeze into a space but if not then you may have to find local street parking.

My room was very nicely decorated and was a large size everything you would want was in the room a full size fridge, hairdryer, ironing board, iron, a case stand, a safe and aircon. The bathroom was very large, bright, fresh and very well decorated, large easy access shower a perfect room for anyone that requires a room for disabilities plenty of handrails and great axes. The Breakfast was excellent made from really good ingredients, well cooked, great flavour and served piping hot.

I have no complaints of any kind I totally enjoyed my stay.
