The village was lovely and quiet with a lovely small shop and milk dispenser selling local milk close by. The room was really comfy and nicely decorated. The breakfast was very nice with local produce, we also ate at the pub in the evening which was decent pub food with friendly service. They don't have a kids menu as such but do keep chicken nuggets and fishfingers in or are happy to do a small portion of an adult meal so great choice. The staff were all really friendly throughout. I'm from the area originally so it was a great base for showing my daughter the sights from my childhood! Would definitely stay again if back in the area!

Maybe a little note in the room to point out the local shop and milk would be a nice touch, and make a bigger deal of local produce being used because it's a selling point for you!

We were 3 friends looking for a traditional English pub in a small village to stay at near to a few local golf courses to try. The Benett Arms in Semley did not disappoint. Great staff, location and a lovey pub with very comfortable rooms/ The food and drink was excellent with a lovely outdoor space to watch the locals (including a donkey) go by. Recommend the local fresh milkshake dispenser and farm shop. We will be back.

Lovely village location. Very quiet at night. Super friendly staff. The pub has a great atmosphere. Don't expect 5 star rooms because this is a country pub BUT the rooms are really homely and comfortable and clean. The food was super, I understand that just about everything is made and cooked on the premises, it certainly tastes like it!

Lovely location chosen as stayed before. 3 rooms just at the back of the pub. Pub is a lovely country one, seems quite vibrant and breakfast on offer, great choice and freshly cooked. Rooms are tidy and bed comfortable. Tea and coffee also available. Towels large and fluffy.

Although rooms are tidy as stated above, the shower head let the bathroom down. Very rusty, so we didn't use it. Otherwise, it would be 10 across the board.

More than 1/2 a roll of toilet roll in the room would be nice The shower window overlooked the garden, the glass was frosted but a little blind might be a nice touch to improve modesty/privacy The venison pie, whilst tasty, was quite small and didn't have masses of filling

Very comfortable room, beds excellent and heating controllable. Dinner and breakfast - good choice and well-cooked. Location lovely and quiet. Welcome warm and friendly and our dog made welcome too (especially his sausage at breakfast.

Nothing we didn't like. Just one suggestion for improvement - a chair would be appreciated for watching tv as propped up on bed not comfy for one of us.

Very friendly staff who were at pains to help make our stay - with our dog - as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. It’s a busy village pub but the locals are as friendly as the staff, and it was never noisy. They have a good menu and great craft beers too, plus a clean and comfortable room. The location is stunning too, and the local area has plenty to do no matter what the weather.

Lovely pub in a pretty village. we stopped overnight to break up our journey and this was the perfect place! Friendly staff and locals, food was classic pub food done well, room was large enough for us & our 2 labs and breakfast was lovely (veggie sausages for me even though wasn’t an option on menu). Rooms are on ground floor and the beer garden is over the road which is good when you have dogs. Would recommend and would stay again if in the vacinity. Thank you

Lovely location, The Bennett is a lovely traditional Pub. Breakfast was fabulous. The food was really nice and fresh. We ate there in the evenings. staff were really friendly nothing was a problem. The beds were comfortable and room clean. We loved our stay Thank you. 😀

Lovely old building, really cozy bar, great service.

Our room was well decorated but had quite a few dead spiders and things on the walls and a bit of mould in the bathroom. We’ve been spoiled with really comfortable beds recently so these bed’s didn’t quite match up.
