The room, the views, the hotel itself and the staff. Breakfast was excellent and food in Sams Club was also very good

The fact that there was a 10% service charge on every drink, food item or chocolate bar as it wasn't particularly cheap in the first place (which you expect). You tip when you are satisfied with the service you receive. Most if the staff in Sam's Clubhouse were not impressed when we asked for it to be removed (not all, 2 were very nice about it). We were in for 5 hours so would have been a quite a big spend. We also had to clear our own table of glasses and plates on more than one occasion. I am a Licensee myself so fully understand the workings of hospitality. We paid £32 for a bottle of wine in Sam's would have been more had we paid the 10% service charge (pretty rubbish at 11% too - was the cheapest on offer) When googled it, it retailed at..... wait for it.... £4.12

Bed was really comfy and the room was spacious. Our room had a sliding door with table and chairs that led outside which was great. The whole hotel was really relaxed and the atmosphere was great at night. It reminded us of when we had been on a cruise. Free table tennis and badminton outside... And mini golf (£7 each). Pool was good albeit a little busy though. Breakfast buffet was great. Even had poached eggs in the selection which is something I hadn't seen before. Staff were really attentive. Sorry didn't get photos of room, but first is a picture from outside our room.

Our shower in the room was really small, low shower head and not spacious either (we were on ground floor room 1504).. My girlfriend who is 5ft 6 couldn't even stand straight it was that low ( at the showers maximum height)... interesting. I know this isn't a problem with the other rooms, as the room I booked online looked different, much larger bathroom.. However we got a sliding door outside so I was happy with the compromise since I showered in pool changing rooms anyway. The fact that it didn't ruin the stay shows how much we enjoyed it, we were only here one night and everything else was great, even the weather. Overall really happy.

The room was ready early. Plenty of parking Espa toiletries in the room smelt like a spa Nice and dark when the lights were off. Comfy beds and pillows. Very clean Food was fabulous Great bar setting with lots of seating

It wasn't 100% clear where the entrance was. I didnt think the signage in the car park was clear. We were in a ground floor, disabled friendly room. Shower squealed louder, each time you moved the dial to hot. Also the drain is very close to the toilet so anyone using the loo after a shower gets wet feet. Room was quite cool and we could find a thermostat in the room. Bar drinks are very over priced.

Beautifully Appointed rooms , lovely atmosphere and incredibly friendly venue.

Spa Area was very dated, cleanliness around the sauna needed more attention to detail. Space for clothing very limited ( unless you put everything on Hangers ) We asked housekeeping for additional Tea and coffee on day 2 ( we didn't need the room servicing so thought it was a good to ask - it didn't arrive ) We left the table in the bar area to take a few calls ( & left Spectacles along with a few other personal objects ) on our return everything had been removed including drinks we hadn't consumed ( we did get back our personal items ) guess you could say the staff were very keen - but it wasn't that busy to warrant the " Hastily " clean up !!

We don't just like, we love everything about the belfry, the staff within the ryder grill are so attentive, specially marius who always goes above and beyond

We've stayed numerous occasions and never had no problems, upon the first night, we was situated in a corner where doors were always banging. Woken up by what seem to be dyno rod with a blocked within the neighbours, sounded like minor drilling and suction, seeing the excrements within the shower. Upon request of booking I made aware it was my partners birthday and was assured she would have a little welcome birthday gesture, upon arrival to room, no card or nothing that was promised.

Stayed at The Belfry before, this time for the Betfred Masters golf. We had a great experience in general! Staff are lovely. Food in the bar was fabulous, so was breakfast!

We didn’t appreciate being woken at 6am by very noisy staff under our window, it seems the laundry was located there and the dragging of large wheelie bins and shouting staff meant we didn’t enjoy our sleep. It was very hot in the room even though a fan was supplied. We both found dining at the Ryder Grill very uncomfortable due to the height of the table in ratio with the chairs, the scatter cushions aren’t suitable at all.

The food was excellent at dinner and breakfast. The restaurant staff were also very efficient and helpful. Our waiter, Craig was particularly good in looking after our family of 12 for our celebration meal in the Ryder Restaurant. We all enjoyed using the outdoor and indoor facilities. There were plenty of activities for everyone. We liked that the hotel was dog friendly.

Our room check-in was delayed by over an hour. As it was a one night stay, we were anxious to access our room as soon as possible. The room was hot and we couldn’t regulate the temperature as the Dyson cooler was ineffective and the window opening was restricted. The hotel was incredibly busy with so much going on at once! Eg.Weddings, functions etc. It seemed staff we’re struggling to keep everyone happy!

The hotel is beautiful, the perfect stay for the golf tournament. It was a busy couple of days, so we didn't get to experience the spa or afternoon tea, so we will save that for next time as both look lovely. The staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful. Breakfast has everything you need and the meal in the evening is delicious. We opted for the buffet both evenings and wasn't disappointed.

In hindsight, I would have upgraded our room to a view over the course. Our room overlooked buildings, and we had noisy extract fans, and as it was very warm, we had the windows open.

we headed to the reception to see if we can have lunch as arrived early and was informed the room was actually ready, the check in was very quick, had the best lunch very worth the price it was huge! did ask for a room with a view but was informed most over face the car park, but very pleased we got a view of the mini golf and mini lake at the back. we had a little issue as i hadn't booked for dinner and they were fully booked, but they managed to sort it and we had a very lovely relaxed dinner in the main restaurant, where you can have a set menu or buffet. breakfast was lovely busy but food was topped up plenty of options and hot.

nothing really, the only down side was that the pool was busy and no where to sit other than in the pool, but they are doing lots of building works so this apparently will be split for day guests for spa and residents so will be happy to go back and see what this will be like

Location is lovely and the food was good quality / quite rich at times. But all tasty food, enjoyed it. And the rooms was comfortable however we would have like to have the windows open as it was quite warm. Dyson fan was provided but was too far away from the bed and we couldn't move it next to our beds. And gym was awesome, quite busy one but we really liked it

Vegetarian food options was minimal and the ones that was there didnt have any protein! And there are too many rooms, which was causing confusion on where we were - gues this isnt a big problem.
