After several hours freezing at MIA airport which was struggling with irregular operations due to record rainfall, we booked probably the last room at the Sonesta and enjoyed a very comfortable room for the remainder of the day and evening. We also appreciated the complimentary bus shuttle.

We reported a couple problems in the bathroom and were assured they would be taken care of.

It did the job for a comfortable airport hotel. the shuttle bus location app was nice.

I really didnt like the 'FREE shuttle' bus driver really awkwardly hassling another traveller for tip. If it was like this they should just charge for the shuttle service. It was unlike anything ive seen before.

Hotel was quite close to the airport. Room was spacious with everything you might need. Staff were helpful and friendly and breakfast was nice

Although we eventually caught the free hotel shuttle from the airport, the arrangements for boarding it were unclear. The information indicated that there were quite a few bus stops that the shuttle stopped at but, in effect, that was not the case. Even allowing for the renovations being undertaken at the airport, the instructions could have better described reality.

Close proximity to the airport and the reliable shuttle service makes it an ideal stay. Also, I tried another hotel in the same vicinity, and Sonesta had a cleaner feel. Restaurant had food readily available. You have the option to select from a buffet or pre-order your meal

Attention to cleaning details should be undertaken. Thorough cleanings will assist with the place and/or service being expectational. Great worker ...

The breakfast buffet was very good. Dinner the night before at Tradewinds was excellent. (Thank you, Jorge, for your wonderful service!!) Our room was immaculate and cozy, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The decor was fun, and the whole feel of the hotel was inviting. We spent the night in Miami because we chose an overnight layover rather than spending a whole day traveling. The Sonesta was the perfect place to stay, and the airport shuttle service was outstanding.

everything was exceptional, the front desk staff helped since the beginning answering all the questions we had, for breakfast there was a huge variety of food, the pool was in remodeling condition, so they offered us to use the regency hotel pool, it was next to Sonesta. the location is very convenient we had amazing food in a Cuban restaurant that is just crossing the street. we want to stay longer; we didn't want to stay in the airport for 2 hours so front desk staff offered a late fee to stay up to our flight check in time and we used the shuttle, so it was very beneficial and safe. English and Spanish speakers in the hotel is a plus. Definitively we will back soon =)

Hotel under renovation. Room provided already completed and very well done.

Residence fee services provided do not correspond to those listed on Booking.com. Booking .com should lobby strongly to eliminate the additional Residence fee tagged on by more and more hotels. Just increase the cost of the room and be done with it. Pretending to provide extra services is just confusing and in many cases does not correspond to customer profile.

The staff was gentle and kind, they allowed us to check in earlier without additional charge. They stored our luggage in a separate room prior to our check in as we arrived pretty early in the morning. My brother could visit us and brought his big dog without issues. The room had good space as we were with 2 children and it was clean and it has modern furniture. The food from the buffet was good, healthy and the price was reasonable. I love IHOP and the hotel is a few blocks from it which is great.

The machine for self payment within the snack area was not working for credit cards. The hotel does not seem to have a walking access but unless you hold a room key. The pool next to our room was under maintenance and we could not use it.

very close to the airport, but still very quiet. I expected more noise from landing or take-offs, but hardly heard anything. Very helpful and friendly stuff, either at the reception, the shuttle-driver and at the bar.

it’s not really a restaurant. at the bar it had a small buffet with about warm 5 options (2 meat, 2 vegetable and rice) and some diffeferent salads. I had to wait quite a bit to be picked up at the airport first time and couldn‘t call (did only the a answering machine)
