Hotel is nice and clean, breakfast was good. the Lady at the breakfast area was great, very friendly and attentive. Room was clean although a bit smaller than other Holiday inn Express' I have stayed on. Pool was nice and clean. Hotel is close to the beach.

My only complain here is that the pool cannot be access from the parking lot, I have stayed on other Holiday in Express close to beaches and all of them have a door that you need to use your room card to open it, but here they did not. This means if you are coming from the beach and want to go to the pool, you need to walk through the lobby (most of the times soaking wet) , the same if you are in the pool and you want to go to the beach, I don't understand why the did this, Also, in most hotels close to the beach I have stayed in , including as I mentioned other Holiday inn Express (for example the one in South Padre Island) have showers in the pool area and a hose to clean yourself and your stuff like ther beach chairs, etc. well, this does not.

The proximity to the beach and eateries is great. The pool and spa we did not use, but appreciate the availability had we stayed longer.

The room was either cleaned with a product or a fragrance applied somewhere but it was very strong like a mans cologne had been spilled and it was overwhelming. We had to leave the door open with the AC on full to air it out to a tolerable level. Breakfast was ok- Did not enjoy the eggs and was hoping for some fresh fruit availability

The location of hotel was great. Walking distance to places to eat and to the beach were so close. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Asked a couple of questions and was answered. Everything was comfortable and cool. Pool area was nice.

Area where the charcoal pits were needs work. Leftover material left out in the open. Some shade would be nice too. Maybe fix on website where it says washer and dryer in the room. It needs to state that its a laundry area on floor 2 and 3 or something.

Nicholas was the clerk that checked us in. He was very friendly and efficient. Offered info for restaurants in the area

The remote did not work properly with the television. There was no channel guide. The sleeper sofa was difficult to figure out how to open it and there was no beds g stored in the room. The staff was very helpful and responded quickly to assist

The location was amazing,we loved our room in the corner on the floor we were on. We didn’t eat the breakfast, we went out and ate with friends at their condo.

Parking was quite the booger, however we did go during spring break and the lady at the front desk said it was a common problem during that time.

Breakfast was great! Room was very nice. I like that Holiday Inn had dispensers of soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo and conditioner.

I was a little worried about the ac since they had huge fans in the hallway and it was a little warm, but our rooms were cool.

Super clean staff was amazing!

There was air conditioner in the lobby and in our rooms, but on the second floor and third floor there was not. Although we didn’t really mind it because we were not hanging out in the hallways anyways. 

The staff was great, we had one little problem when we first checked in, but was fixed in no time. Also hot breakfast everyday it was different hot breakfast which was nice. The pool was great an big. Really liked when we asked for extra bedding it was in a nice pack ready to go. The beach was walking distance which was nice. It was also very quite, will be back

. The staff was friendly and even stored my Grandsons birthday cake for a couple of days in their fridge. The room was clean, it's an older hotel and you can tell. But still nice.

The beds were ok. A little hard. There was trash outside our door that the cleaning staff left for a couple of days. It didn't smell but just didn't like seeing it.

The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly.

On a prior stay at this hotel there were USB ports on the lamps and this room had none. Also, the trash cans were all full in the area where breakfast is served and there were flies coming out of it when I attempted to add trash. Our room faced the pool and the music around the pool was left on all night the first night. After a second request it was turned off on the second night.
