The location was perfect. Only steps away from the Capitol building. The staff was welcoming and attentive. Our room was spotless and beautifully decorated. It was spacious and had an expansive space like a sitting room with a couch and an extra TV which our kids enjoyed a lot. We were offered complimentary drinks at the bar in the evenings which was quite nice. The complimentary breakfast buffet had a wide variety of fresh and tasty options (the lemon poppy seed cake was delicious), and we all enjoyed our omelettes that were made to order. I also used the gym with brand new equipment and Peloton bikes.

The free drink vouchers were a pleasant perk, as well as the laundry facilities on site. The room was set up great when we arrived, with all the necessary amenities. Our family of 6 fit well, and it was easy to set up the sofa bed. The blackout curtain worked very well. Our family enjoyed the selection of options on the TV, and there was a good amount of space to store the food we brought. The breakfast options were great, and the omelettes were amazing! I personally enjoyed the Garden Veggie option.

The first people we encountered when arriving at the hotel were the Valet staff and I can't say enough about how helpful they were. Traffic and parking was a nightmare and the valet staff very graciously accommodated us. Also, Emily at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. My reservation on Booking.com did not transfer over to the hotel so she researched and found the issue and called me to let me know why.

The road construction but I know that is not under the control of the hotel. Did not like that the cost of the room was increased because it was an event weekend (Ironman).

Room was very clean and spacious and had all facilities. The bed was very comfortable. The room had facilities to allow modern cables to directly plug in. The breakfast gave a lot of choice and used reusable cutlery and plates / dishes. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location near the centre of downtown Madison was excellent. The happy hour scheme at the bar was brilliant - and the food was very tasty and reasonably priced.

There could have been bottled water provided for the room.

“The facilities were not sufficient for what you would expect from the best hotel in Madison. Additionally, maintenance staff equipment was often visible around the hotel, and they did not provide bottled mineral water in each room.

Staff member took way too long to resolve a computer issue in order to check us in then wrote down the wrong room number on the key holder. We found out it was wrong because were trying to unlock a room that wasn't ours! Thank goodness no one came out of the room to confront us!!!! It was already after midnight and we were extremely tired from traveling therefore not a good time to deal with mishaps. Breakfast not as good as it used to be but still ok.

My friends and I loved the vallet parking, the happy hour 2 free drinks from 5:30 to 7:00. Most hotels have happy hour 4:30-5:30…which is too early. The room was very clean and accommodated to my handicap with the walk-in shower.

A suggestion for happy hour: have some games available for families/friends to play. Trivia questions, board games, cards, etc.

The people at the desk were nice. But -when giving us out keys, the male desk person said me and other travelers were on same floor and we were not -when asking the women desk person about the immediate area (within 10 minutes) she was not very helpful.

The building was very new, so everything was in good condition, both inside of my room and around the hotel. I enjoyed the quality gym equipment as well.

I was confused about how exactly the lights worked in my room. Sometimes they would turn on and stay on, and other times some wouldn't.

Nice place, very good location, staffs are very freindly and helpfull. Breakfast is very good. We love this hotel. I will stay here again if I come to Madison. We recomend to stay here.
