Clean and secure hotel, good shower and comfortable bed. Friendly reception and free coffee and tea at reception. Good location. Free fruit in lounges was a nice touch.

Parking is an extra $20 and there are extra unexpected charges like city tax. Breakfast was a shambles, nothing left to eat at 930am, even when it was eventually replenished the choice was very disappointing so get there early and be prepared for a limited choice. Rooms were definitely not sound proofed and there were a lot of people partying the night we stayed. People come out into reception from the pool area dripping in their swim shorts and bikinis. Lots of younger groups of people staying, if you what peace and quiet this might not be the hotel for you.

Breakfast has tons of options. This was by far the best hotel breakfast we have ever had included with the room rate. Location is central to both campus and the state capitol. Plenty to do in the area. Some nice restaurant options in walking distance. Employees were all terrific and we made sure to make a note to the manager. Suly was notably good at her job and funny too!

Parking included would have been the icing on the cake. It was not included and cost $20 a night. The location does not provide much by way of available street parking.

Very comfortable and huge beds. Clean bathroom. Complimentary locker service for luggage after check out. Excellent location.

Noisy fridge in the room. Was asked by an automated email if I wanted an upgrade against payment for a fridge and microwave-which I declined-only to find out the room already had them! What was the point of the offer then? Breakfast ok but too many unhealthy-sugar loaded-options.

A beautiful hotel in downtown Madison within walking distance of the capitol and the University of Wisconsin buildings. The room was large and modern and clean. The beds were great. The largest widescreen TV I've ever seen in a hotel room and it came on automatically displaying my name when I first walked into the room!

Very nice hotel. Comfortable, clean, and quiet. Delicious breakfast. Great location with ease of traveling to and from locations within the city, both driving and walking in the capitol area. Appreciated the safe and secure parking.

I feel the price was a bit steep. I booked on Monday for the next night stay (Tuesday - for one night) and received a prompt confirmation. On Tuesday, prior to traveling, I pulled up information for travel directions and was shocked to see I could have booked the same room for $133.00 less than what I booked the room for the night before. This leaves a bad impression. Lesson learned!

It started with a smile at the front desk during check in. We found the room to be exceptionally clean as well as all the facilities(ie, pool, hot tub, common area, and meal tables). The staff was wonderful and had no problems answering any questions. The hotel itself is centrally located downtown Madison. Having never been there before we weren't sure what to expect...let me say there is no need for a car in this location if you don't plan on travelling far. There are so many good restaurants within 3 blocks of the hotel I don't think I could have eaten at them all. Everybody walks in this town from 6am to 2am, it was fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel.

I truly can't think of one thing I would change about my stay. Hallways were quiet, breakfast was delicious. All staff and even guest were very polite.

The room was clean and beds very comfortable, we did like the seating area at the lobby! We really enjoy the fireplace, coffee and the cacao station

Room was very clean and well-appointed. Breakfast items were different each morning with a great variety of items available. Pool and hot tub were great. Towels were readily available for use and the pool deck was very clean.

Experienced a glitch with checkout - we had pre-paid the bill on booking.com but the hotel also charged the card on file for incidental expenses when we checked out. Customer service was very helpful and was able to resolve the issue once contacted.

Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfy and it felt so homey. Breakfast had its variations and a comfortable area to eat in. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling alone or with family. Great location as well.

Having to say goodbye, but will be making plans to come visit in the near future with my family.

It was very spacious and comfortable, wish there were a few more hot options for eggs and sides. But overall good!

Needs more pillows for king bed suite. Elevators can be confusing with having to swipe card and then press, also, the buttons weren’t all working. A staff member had to help get the button to call an elevator.
