Everything here is amazing and comfortable…. The hosts are some of the nicest sweetest people you will ever meet…. Beds are comfy hot water with good pressure and the house is very cool with a nice pool for a dip after a hot day of touring around town. I really can’t say enough about the people that host this place anything you need they are willing to go above and beyond to accommodate the guests. Highly recommend Tam CoC Hotel when you are staying here it’s like staying with family.

Loved everything and location is amazing 🤩

As others have found, the family, especially "Mama" who run this are very friendly, welcoming, and helped us book transport. All was straightforward and proper in the tally of charges for our transportation on check out.

This was below what we typically paid elsewhere in Vietnam (usually $40-50 range), thus in retrospect we could not expect the room to be on the same level as where we stayed in at our usual price point. Booked because of the great reviews of the operating family and it did not disappoint in this respect; the well maintained home is in a quiet area with a lovely courtyard. However, our (budget) room was small for us as you could not walk on one side of the bed, the air conditioner did not work very well, we could not find a plug for either the fridge or kettle. It was clean and hot water for the shower was plentiful.

I instantly felt at home, from the warming loving family to the property itself. It’s down a secluded alley away from the buzzing bar strip. There’s amenities in the room, and the room is lovely, comfortable and very clean. Coffee in the room was an added bonus for a relaxing wake up. We only had one night and I was so sad to leave mama !! She is kind, caring and so helpful. We had a sleeper bus after our one night stay. She let us leave our bags all day and then shower late at night with fresh towels. She then poured us many cups of warm green tea before leaving. I urge you to stay with this family for your home stay and make the effort to go to their restaurant for the goat ! It was exactly the Vietnam experience I hoped for and I’d come back to stay in a heart beat.

Mama. She was our best host yet of our 3 months of traveling. She took care of us! I liked her day plan / motorbike tour of the area. She and her husband treated us to lots of tea (and some moonshine). We liked being able to borrow bikes for a nominal fee. She fed us well at her family restaurant. When Ieft behind my kindle at the room (we rushed out of there), she was able to arrange for it to be delivered to Hanoi. The family of the family hotel really went above and beyond!

There was no heating system in the room and it happened to be really cold in the room! Not much to do about that.

The best hotel we have stayed in Viet Nam🥰 We have been staying in this lovely place for 3 nights and it is so amazing. Mom is so sweet and warm who takes care us so well and makes us feel like home. Dad is a good cook and gives us some glass of Vietnamese wine. We are also informed and arranged all the tours in town and even arranged sleeping bus to the south with affordable price. We can take a bath with clean tower which provided by mom. Room is super clean and large, bed is so comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast is really full and delicious, the pancake and Banh Mi are the best food that we have ever eaten in Viet Nam. We are deeply impressed by their kindness and warm welcome, we will surely come back here whenever we have chance❤️‍🔥 Please DON’T miss this beautiful place🇻🇳❤️

Everything is great!

Mama was the best host and very accommodating. We arrived on a late sleeper bus and she woke up to show us around our room. The free breakfast each day was a great addition although we didn’t get it each day. Herself and her daughter helped us organise day trips with very safe drivers. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough

The hotel is more like a hostel and there was some noise from surrounding buildings in the mornings but we took no notice of this

Great experience, the place is clean, and the service was great. The whole family is very kind, they help you with everything you ask. They made my experience in Tam coc, Ninh Binh to be easy and enjoyable. I recommend them 100%. Just be careful because there is place close by with pretty similar name, so don't get confuse 😉

The place doesn't have swimming pool, but they are building one, so the place will be even better soon 😀

Our stay at the hotel was wonderful, ‘Mama’ and her family make you feel so at home, their hospitality and kindness was incredible. They helped us with renting bikes, laundry and booking our bus tickets to Phong Nha - Mama and her husband even gave us a lift to the bus station with all of our luggage! Thank you for our stay and we hope we will be back some day :)

Family run this place. Mama was friendly and lovely. She took care of us, help us to arrange tour around Tam Coc And booked the vip sleeping bus to Hue for us with seasonal price. Family has also a brand new restaurant Tam Coc Kitchen with Papa is chef. We went there twice a day for lunch and dinner. Parents served great food, it is one of the best food I’ve ever had in Vietnam. There was a cute dog named Messi we played with. We was really love this place so much! Thank you very much Papa and Mama We’ll come back again!

I had such a good time here. Mama is the best. She takes care of everything and makes you feel so welcome 🙏 I love her for her kindness and everything she did for me. The hotel is in the middle of the town, but in a quiet street. I enjoyed every second of my stay there. The breakfast was very good and made freshly by the owners every morning. They also opened up a very nice restaurant a little bit outside the town, where they serve great food. I am so thankful for my time there ❤️ would recommend the experience for anybody!
