Location was great as it is walking distance to many great restaurants. Plus, if you want to want to go further out to explore other restaurants/stores/supermarkets, there are taxis parked on the side of the building ready to take you wherever you need to go, which I loved. All the staff were pleasant including management, staff at the front desk, wait staff in the dining areas, housekeeping, and the people keeping the grounds clean. Everyone was pleasant and respectful. The hotel was clean and there are a variety of food options on the resort if you choose to eat in the resort instead of eating out. If you decide you want to remain on the resort to eat throughout your stay, I would recommend you do an all inclusive package.

There was nothing I didn't like

The open air lobby was gorgeous and cool; the hotel location was perfect ; sleeping on the hammocks in the courtyard in the evening was a great way to end the day; hotel was walkable to everything ; hotel was located directly on a gorgeous , sandy beach with clear water; buffet breakfast had everything ; bed and pillows were awesome; we received a refreshing welcome beverage as we checked in

We only had two issues: 1) the beach bar next door made it hard to sleep ; we were assigned rooms in 'Sea Tower' and have a hard time sleeping , so music 'pumping ' until 1 or 2 am was hard on us ; I wish we could've been warned and/or had a choice on a quieter room , and 2) when we booked through booking.com we booked 3 rooms (each with two people, and breakfast included). However , when we arrived the hotel said that in one of the rooms there was only breakfast for one and that we had to pay the daily breakfast rate for the second person in the room . We were not expecting that . I think something didn't get communicated between Booking.con and the hotel .

The hotel staff is incredibly kind and helpful. We found our first trip to aruba easy to navigate due to their support. The hotel was not too crowded (although we may have just lucked out with timing) and the restaurant we went to on the property was great. We did not do the all inclusive and don’t think its worth it to do! Neither my husband or I really drink but the food off the property is literally outside the hotel and there are so many good restaurants!

We stayed in a king suite and the location of those rooms within the hotel are next to the elevator. We could hear it going up and down all night.

Location is on the best part of the beach (sand it the best). The hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants, shopping and other attractions. You can go all inclusive or do your own thing, we do our own thing. This is our second trip to Aruba and both times we stayed at the Holiday inn. This is not the Holiday Inn you think of across most of the US. The rooms are similar but the facilities are far more comprehensive and include indoor and out door Spa areas, large pools, a fairly comprehensive health facility, not the 2 machine facilities found in a lot of hotels.

WE were required to have a negative Covid test result within 24 hours of our departure to return home. We went to a local clinic which was less expensive than what the hotel offered for the same thing. The testing cost us $35.00 each, a certain amount of stress getting the result on time to leave and once it was all said and done, not a single person ever asked to see it. Total waste of money!

Beautiful property right on the water with balcony views that were incredible! Unfortunately our balcony was right next to the parking lot which was loud and not as private but roomy. The staff was very accommodating and the facility had everything we needed.

This property is a little older and shows its age in areas. Our room was comfortable and clean. The balcony was not very private located next to the parking lot with loud trucks a vehicle traffic.

The Sea Building is next door to the Marriot and there is an outdoor nightclub that blasts music with a lot of deep bass (boom, boom, boom...) and doesn't stop until 2PM which was an issue for us. We asked to move our room and the hotel accomodated us.

The Oceanfront view was spectacular, and the room was very comfortable. Maid service was great; very thorough and friendly. The shops, restaurants, and cafe's were great and very convenient.

A couple of things we didn't care for: (1) We were hoping for Caribbean music at the outside bar, not American music that we hear every day in NJ. We're on an island, and don't need to hear Uptown Funk ten o'clock in the morning!!! Next, and this is no fault of yours: the boat traffic near Pelican Pier seems to foul the water. One can only feel a SAND ocean floor up to about 20 feet out. Then it's as though you're standing in slime.

Location was excellent. Directly IN the beach, no need to take taxi or shuttle, just walk 10 seconds and you are in the beach. Tired of the beach? 2 big pools. Want to take a nap? 10 seconds and you are in your room. Great breakfast and dining options inside the hotel or outside. The area where the hotel is located has many malls, stores, hotels, bars and restaurants. You have to walk (everything is really close), or can take taxis. A nice thing is that we had a coffee maker in the room (we used it to boil water for drinking mate, something Argentinian and Uruguayan tourists will consider in great regard). Friendly staff. All of them.

A few minor things that could get improved (in any way detrimental to the quality of the experience): can't walk around the pool without protective shoes otherwise you get burnt (athermal tiles would be great). Also, majority of parasols were "booked" very early by guests by putting towels on them for the whole day. Parking space was limited, couple of days I had to park outside the parking space.

Our rooms were just as I had requested, and the beds were so comfortable!! The location is right on the beach and it's easily within walking distance of a worldly variety of restaurants and shopping!! A taxi ride to the downtown area is reasonable in cost and taxis were always available. I also loved how laid back the location and people are. If you're wearing more than flip flops and shorts, you may be overdressed. Me and my family look forward to returning to Aruba and more specifically, Holiday Inn. We had a wonderful stay and really hated to have to face reality and leave!! Shout outs to Bellmen John and Reynaldo who always greeted us with love. To Momo, Eddy and Juan Miguel in Corals for their warm and friendly hospitality!! The complimentary Mimosa was very kind and to the chef for creating the delicious fruit smoothies!!!

The only issue we had was there was no microwave to re heat any left overs from our dining experiences. I understand that this may be a safety issue for the hotel and for those that may not properly use a microwave, however, they should consider a way to meet in the middle on this. Plus we were told by a staff member that one was available, yet the front desk girl said differently. Which is it?? The provided room refrigerator is great to keep an extra slice of pizza, but when you're hungry and wish to re heat it, what to do?? I look forward to seeing how you will improve upon this. This was my second time in Holiday Inn and they always the best in my opinion. It was crowded but everything was fantastic. Lot of thing surrounding the property therefore one will never feel boring after beach activity, room was spacious and staff as usual very friendly and welcoming

Its a bit pricy this time compare to my first visit in 2022.
