Location is excellent, property is well maintained.

Behavior of Reception Staff. When I arrived, no body greeted. Infact we arrived 30 minutes before the check in time and they behaved rudely. We were not even asking for a early check in, our only request was to keep our luggage in the concierge. But got a rude attitude.

The location of this hotel is truly spectacular. Nestled in the heart of the mountains, the view from the balcony is breathtaking and unparalleled in Azerbaijan. The hotel's design is luxurious, and the staff were both friendly and professional. The cleanliness was impeccable, making it my favorite hotel in the country. The retro music played in the restaurant added a perfect touch, enhancing the experience for tourists.

However, the Wi-Fi connection was weak, and the outdoor pool was a bit too cold, with a somewhat lackluster vibe. I suggest enhancing the pool area with more lively elements like a TV wall, music, and tables, along with better lighting in the evening.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Qafqaz Riverside Hotel in Gabala with my wife and son for two nights, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish! This hotel exceeded all our expectations in every possible way. First and foremost, a huge thank you to the manager, Mr. Elemmed Ali. His exceptional hospitality and attentiveness truly made our stay unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and at home. He was always available to assist with any requests, no matter how small, and his warm and friendly demeanor made us feel like we were valued guests. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated to providing a top-tier experience for their guests, and Mr. Elemmed Ali is a true asset to this hotel. His care and attention to detail were unmatched, and he even took the time to check in with us personally during our stay to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you, Mr. Elemmed Ali, for making our visit so memorable! The spa was absolutely incredible. After a long day of exploring the beautiful surroundings of Gabala, the spa provided the ultimate relaxation. The facilities were pristine, the ambiance was serene, and the staff were professional and skilled. It was the perfect way to unwind and rejuvenate. The restaurants and breakfast offerings were also outstanding. The breakfast spread was extensive, catering to all tastes and preferences, with a variety of fresh and delicious options. The restaurants offered a fantastic selection of dishes, all beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. Whether we were enjoying a casual meal or a fine dining experience, everything was impeccable. Overall, our stay at Qafqaz Riverside Hotel was nothing short of amazing. If you’re planning a trip to Gabala, I wholeheartedly recommend staying here. And if you’re fortunate enough to meet Mr. Elemmed Ali during your visit, you can be sure you’re in the best hands possible.

Rooms were clean and comfortable Hotel had lots of facilities - gym, pool, sauna Breakfast was good - we are vegetarians and were able to get lots of options Location was close to the Tufandag mountain resort - also very nice views

Heating was an issue - you cannot adjust the temperature of your room Hot water in the shower is another issue - it wasn't hot enough and sometimes it was even cold. I have seen similar comments from other guests and hopefully the hotel takes care of the issue once and for all Shower wasn't working - they sent a technician immediately and got it fixed Hot

The hotel is very clean and quiet, in a beautiful mountain setting. The indoors swimming pool is open until 10pm, which is great to relax after a day walking in the mountains. The room had a nice balcony overlooking the outdoors swimming pool. When the cable car re-opens it will be a very short ride up to the top (at the moment you have to take it from another hotel, a very short drive away). Staff are very nice and helpful.

Not so much something we didn't like as something to be aware of if you don't have a car - the hotel is quite far from the centre and options to eat out are a bit limited. This said, the hotel's restaurant is perfectly adequate.

We had a wonderful stay at the Qafqaz Riverside Hotel in Qabala, Azerbaijan. I went there with my wife and my 7yrs old twins. A special thanks to Ali Ahmad, the manager, who provided exceptional assistance during check-in and ensured we were well taken care of throughout our stay. We stayed in the cottages, which were clean, comfortable, and beautifully surrounded by lush greenery. One of the highlights was the hotel's cable car station, offering direct access to the snow-covered mountains—a truly unique and delightful feature!

Decent breakfast, a mix of English and Azeri food. Excellent service staff, nice set up of restaurant. It was our wedding anniversary and they offered me a complimentary cake-Thank You. I was staying in the villa, the pick up and drop off was quick. Guest services manager Alammad Feyzullayev was very friendly and supportive.

The chef in the live counter during breakfast should be little more welcoming / look at the customer and smile. Guests coming from UAE never carry an umbrella with them, its good to keep few spare umbrellas in the Hotel for guests to borrow during rain.

Qəbələ restoranı eləcə də Shisha Bar, Kamin Bar işçi səmimiyyəti və xidmət sadecə super. sadecə restoranda milli mətbəxə az yer verilməsi daha çox avropa mətbəxinə üstünlük verilməsi biraz məyusedici oldu. Aşpazlara söz ola bilməz yeməklər şəhanə idi. Mən görünən tərəfləri yazdım əminəmki xadimədən menecerə qədər hər kəs belədir. Hər birinizə uğurlar, işiniz avand olsun. Qəbələ insanın qonaqpərvərliyi insanı şərhsiz duyğulandırır. Ümid edirəm ki növbəti səfərlərimdə də seçimim Qafqaz Riverside olacaq. Təşəkkürlər.

However, I faced issue with the villa not being as comfortable as expected. Thankfully, Ali Ahmed from the hotel management swiftly addressed the problem and ensured that everything was fixed to my satisfaction in no time. His prompt and efficient assistance truly made a difference, going above and beyond to ensure that I was happy and comfortable during my stay. Moreover, I must mention that the reception staff, particularly Aladdin, were extremely friendly and welcoming, adding a personal touch to our experience.
