I chose this hotel with confidence as it is one of my favorites for business trips. The location is quite convenient, offering parking facilities and being right next to a metro station. However, the city center is also within walking distance, which is a great bonus. The rooms are clean and spacious, equipped with thoughtful amenities such as a kettle for added convenience. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help, making the stay even more pleasant. Breakfast is good, with a decent variety of options to start the day. Overall, I’ve always enjoyed my stays here and look forward to returning again in the future!

Hotel staff were very welcoming, polite and informative. I had a late evening check in of 23.00. I checked in and was in my room by 23.10. Room was very spacious. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Slept like a baby. Bathroom good size with good shower. The room was well decorated and clean. Breakfast was of a good standard. Set me up for the day. Coffee was excellent too. Location is about a 35 minute walk to the city centre or there is a metro stop close by. I walked it everyday. Ruin Bars are on the way back so a nice stop off point after a day's sightseeing. I would definitely recommend staying at the Intercity hotel and I will stay here again on my next visit.

The hotel is in a great location for transport links to all major attractions. It was extremely clean, with maid service each day. The room was spacious and the bathroom was very modern with a great shower. The Reception and bar area were welcoming and bright with very helpful staff. Would definitely recommend.

The room was too warm, especially overnight, and adjusting the air con didn't seem to make a difference.

The location is superb. As you come out of the main entrance of the railway station, you can look to your left and you will see the hotel. It is only a couple of minutes walk away. If you buy a 24 or 48 or 72 hour public transport ticket at the station you will be able to see the main sights using local trams, buses and metro. Metro and trams are easy to navigate. One set of stairs to the entrance to the metro is only 80 steps from the hotel and there is a lift nearby. The breakfast was very good. Plenty of variety for western tastes.

The staff could have better local knowledge of how to see and do things from a tourist's perspective. Otherwise they were helpful and pleasant with matters relating to the hotel.

This was our second time staying at Intercity Hotel in Budapest, and it remains our top choice for its proximity to Keleti Station and its modern, spotless clean, and incredibly quiet atmosphere. A special mention goes to the gentleman at the reception who arrange an early check-in for us. We appreciated the complimentary water in the room, a small but very welcome detail. We will definitely return whenever we’re in Budapest!

Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like about our stay. If we were to mention anything, it would be the slightly higher price during the New Year’s period, but this is understandable given the season.

I have stayed in Budapest more than 5 times and every time it was a different hotel, but so far this has been the best. The price-quality ratio exceeded all expectations. The subway is right in front of the hotel and leads to the city center, and the garage for the car is 15 euros per day (the garage is under video surveillance and is extremely secure). The room was extremely clean and tidy, and the breakfast justified the price. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and professional.

I don't want to present this as a negative, but rather as something I'm not accustomed to. The room I stayed in had a separate toilet with sliding wooden doors, so privacy was somewhat limited (you can draw your own conclusions).

We wanted to drop off our luggage in the morning but there was already one of the two rooms avaible for check-in! So we could drop off our luggage directly in a room and freshen up a bit after a night train. Staff was friendly as usual. Furthermore it was the high expected standard from InterCity hotels. The very extensive breakfast, the bar and the endless posibilities you can ask the staff. You are treated like a prince here. Safe also fits a laptop and a camera together, big plus.

The only thing I dislike at every InterCity Hotel must be the toilets. It might be a very wierd thing to point out but the toilets are very low and have a weird shape.

The location was superb. We were meeting a tour at the train station across the street so we stayed at this hotel both before and after that tour.

We were surprised that the breakfast was as expensive as it was. We chose to eat at a place across the street instead. We had arranged to have a Budapest Card delivered to the hotel prior to our stay. They couldn’t locate it when we asked for it. We contacted the card delivery service and they said it was there. We had to have two other hotel staff look for it before they found it. Maybe have one consistent place that they put those kinds of things???

Clean, modern and super comfortable hotel located near the train station. The subway just a few steps away, also the tram and bus line. 24/7 shops nearby in case you need something late in the night. Very close to the arena where concerts are held, within walking distance or 1 subway station. We found complementary water in the room upon our arrival. Would definitely stay again!

This is just a minor observation which did not affect our stay: the bathroom door didn't close all the way (it was a sliding door) so it may be a little bit awkward depending on your preferences.

I chose this hotel because of an intermediate stop on my way from Germany to Romania by train. I am trying to be comfortable and not exceed a specific trip budget. Furthermore, I also enjoyed the design of the rooms. It is a little expensive, but I can sleep well there, and they have a nonstop reception. Which is very convenient for me. One of the strong points is the location, just 5 minutes on foot from the international train station of Budapest, Budapest-Keleti. I recommend it for short stays and business travel, as it is an easy-access area.

Once, I was very disappointed with the level of cleanliness. I had to stay in one of the smaller rooms. My trip coincided with an international sporting event that took place in Budapest, so most of the hotels were occupied. In this room, a gigantic spiderweb was in the upper corner next to the bed, partially hanging over the bed. It was thick and covered a part of the window, too. This made me think that the spiderwebs in the room were not removed.
