Great breakfast included in the cost of the room. We were able to enjoy the outdoor hot tub for about 2 hours on our own, unfortunately one of the hot tubs seemed to be significantly cooler than the other. We were happy that after 15 minutes we were able to move into the warmer tub since it was cool in the evening.

We felt like there wasn't nearly enough places to hang or deal with wet clothing. The warming rack in the bathroom was helpful, but we were caught in downpour after downpour and would have appreciated more hooks on the wall to hang up our wet gear. Also, our garbage that didn't fit in the miniscule garbage can in the bathroom was left on the floor where we put it next to the can when our room was cleaned. Despite the can being emptied and it being obvious that the empty food packages were garbage.

I thought this hotel was excellent for the purpose of my trip. My sister and I were roadtripping the south coast over two days and we really just needed a place to stay at the end of the day. We used this as a stopping point for traveling back from the south coast to Reykjavik. The breakfast was awesome which was very exciting to start another long day of road tripping. There is a restaurant and bar that look nice but we did not eat there. I am willing to bet the food was probably decent as I felt there was not a lot of options as we travelled the south coast

The amenities are nothing special. The saunas are a little worn and the hot tub is not that hot. The gym isn’t really worth using. The dreadmill is like a novelty assault runner but functions nothing to the quality of an assault runner because the arc to it is to deep. (I actually love running on an assault runner). There is a wall apparatus that you can use to do pull-ups and dips. Other than that there are some weird sandbag version of kettlebells that are no more than 5-15 lbs and some yoga mats

Great location and breakfast, rooms are clean and modern. We payed for the upgrade and got one of the room with a private hot tub - it was a really good decision as later on we spotted the most amazing Northern lights while soaking in the warm water.

We enjoyed the private hot tub, but the experience wasn’t as private as expected. A portion of the fence was open, allowing the wind to come through, and passersby could see into the area. It would greatly improve the experience if the space were fully enclosed and a door added to ensure both privacy and protection from the wind.

Our room was very warm and comfortable, and a perfect location along the ring road. The restaurant was amazing, the best meal of our trip. Highly recommend the Caesar salad! Breakfast was also wonderful which set us up early enough to get back on the road for the golden circle leg of our trip.

The rooms are not soundproof. There was a school trip staying at the same time as us, and we were disturbed late at night by loud talking and laughing. The car park was very icy, we needed to use our crampons to comfortably get back and forth the car

Nice to park our car next to our two bedroom accommodation. The Hot tub was excellent. The Bar and restaurant were really good, we had a lovely meal on the night we stayed. The room was well heated and if we had wanted to make our own food everything was there to do so.

We found the bedroom a little small and had to leave our cases in the living area. We could have done with another sofa in the apartment, 4 adults on a sofa for two meant we had to use the dinning chairs which weren't comfortable to sit on.

Bistro was welcoming and friendly with a nice causal vibe. Food was good value (for Iceland!). Buffet breakfast was good with a few hot things like bacon, scrambled egg and beans, although I prefer a continental breakfast with ham/cheese/boiled egg etc. I didn’t use the hot tubs/sauna so can’t comment. Rooms were modern and compact - peaceful environment

Duvet cover and pillow cases were a sort of ‘waffle weave’ - looked great but felt a bit rough, especially on the face, for sleeping. Smooth cotton cover would have been much better.

We had a cabin with a private hot tub which, unfortunately, wasn't "on" when we arrived and hence we couldn't use as it would take too much time to heat up. We ended up using the public hot tub instead which was OK, but there was a big group of students there that night and it wasn't very relaxing or peaceful. Otherwise, the cabin was comfortable and spacious enough for our group of 5. The breakfast (included in our reservation) was very good, worth it!

Wished the hot tub was working/on when we arrived.

The hotel is in a great location for traveling the south coast. The rooms are compact but clean No annoying or disgusting smells Great parking for e-car, recharging station on-site

The one staff member at the front desk was pretty miserable, but that wouldn't stop me from going there. I asked for two twin rooms. Neither room had the beds made up as twins. There weren't enough towels in the rooms either. Simple things I took care of but annoying. Beds and bedding clean and comfortable, but pillows were "lumpy". Neither the hot tubs or sauna were working.

A very nice hotel, ideal for a stop-off when driving Route 1. The room was bright, practical and comfortable, with a desk and lots of power sockets. Staff were friendly and efficient, even though we arrived at the same time as a large coach party who were all checking in separately. Breakfast was excellent - lots of choice and lovely bread. Dinner was fine in terms of price and quality. The architecture, of long corridors radiating from the centre, meant rooms were bright, all were on the ground floor, and I imagine it's very practical in winter. The central areas were also bright and nicely furnished. There is a small shop.

Limited wine-by-the-glass options. And for evening meals the hotel doesn't cope as well with large coach parties as others we stayed in on this trip, so there were quite long delays despite wait staff working their socks off. We would happily stay again, but would ask staff for advice on quieter times to eat. I'm not sure if I can clearly remember how good the light insulation was in bedrooms but think it wasn't as good as some other places we stayed, so I'd recommend an eye mask. The breakfast buffet area, upstairs, only had one coffee machine so despite there being some insulated jugs of coffee there was a long queue for the coffee machine, and that wasn't at a time when the coach party was eating.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was perfect for my family. Excellent space, good beds, privacy, private hot tub, parking close by.

A major factor in picking this place was free breakfast, but that was a let down. The hotel was clearly unprepared for a crowd. They had the space but not staff or food. On the two mornings, they ran out of plates, food, and milk/juice several times, and the line for coffee was absurd. ONE coffee machine to serve a line as long as Starbucks. The breakfast really needs more manpower and machinery. It has great potential.
