Breakfast was very good and filling, the dinner was good but nothing too special. All the employees are extremely friendly and accommodating, they even got me some snacks for free when I mentioned I was hungry. There’s less than 20 rooms in the hotel so it felt very private and not crowded at all. I was able to use the public sauna and onsen with no one else there multiple times. The beds were very comfortable and the in room onsen was amazing and perfect touch to our stay.

The dinner was just good, nothing special and I was expecting a bit more.

The room is massive—but you probably knew that based on the price tag. Modern, beautiful, Japanese design. Amenities in the room and at the lobby are great. Staff is so kind and helpful. The private outdoor onsen had quite the view. The bedding was very comfortable. There were so many different places to sit and relax. This one room had more to offer than one could do in a single day. Dinner and breakfast were excellent events. Yuki was a fantastic host and conversationalist for both my meals. The food was incredibly delicious, and it was fun taking my time to enjoy each course—and there were many courses.

The room overlooks other residential or hotel properties, so one can’t be too sure it’s okay to be without clothes outside. Though the private onsen was always full of water, it was impossible to make the bath cooler. Onsens are hot, but I would’ve liked to make some adjustments anyway. Although the experience was luxurious, I think it was a considerable amount of money to pay.

The room we stayed in (En) was so spacious, clean and peaceful. The facilities were top notch and the private onsen was amazing! The staff was especially kind and very helpful too. They went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Special thanks to Natsuki for looking after us during dinner and breakfast. She was so kind and showed great professionalism and efficiency tending to us. We learnt so much and hope to stay here again soon!

Really nice view and well prepared equipment in room. The bed was soft and comfortable.

The meals were not satisfied… They came with all fish dishes and tastes not that good for this price. If you choose the Western style breakfast, you will only have few things to eat comparing to Japanese style one. Staffs cannot speck English. If you are not a Japanese speaker, please take this as a note. Sometimes Google translate is needed.

Beautiful location. Well kept property. Tons of amenities and things within a reasonable distance. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, during meals and whenever we had any questions. The personal hot spring tub was perfect and the view was great. The room was large and had everything we needed. The food and drink options included were all delicious!

Not the easiest to get to.

Paradise atop of the mountains. Customer service was the best we’ve ever experienced. One member of staff called, Koto was incredible. A true asset to the hotel.

The service was above and beyond from the staff. The breakfast and dinner was unique and an enjoyable experience from the bedroom.

I had trouble with the Wi-Fi connection, it was very slow for me. I also wish the check in time could be earlier considering how much the hotel room costs per night.

Everything. It is perfect here. It’s calm and relaxing. The host staff may be the best we have interacted with. They are helpful and make great conversation.

Nothing. I can’t think of a single moment during our stay here that didn’t exceed our expectations.

The views were breathtaking, the staff exceptional and accommodating, the food tremendous, and the amenities incredibly thoughtful. One of the most luxurious and relaxing experiences I've had.

It's a steep walk from the station to the hotel; definitely take advantage of their pick up service.
