The hotel has one of the best beach front views and locations in all the beach. The colour of the sand is paper-white, fantastic view. The restaurant lies also next to the sea literally. The restaurant and beach staff was extremely friendly and the food delicious. The room had a super nice balcony overlooking directly into the sea, with occasional monkey visits. Good wifi and good air-conditioning.

I paid 1400 usd to stay for 7 nights, plus extra to eat everyday in the hotel's restuarant, asked for 1 hour late check-out and was denied it. That got me really pissed off. The shower inside the toilet had no division with the rest of the toilet, so every time I took a shower, the full toilet floor was completely wet. The beach beds have no parasols. That can be annoying until midday when except for 2 seats under the palms, the rest don't have any sun protection

Upon arrival, the check-in process was quick, and the staff were friendly and accommodating, which set a positive tone for the rest of my stay. Our room was spacious and clean, with a stunning beach view that was truly amazing. The amenities included a comfortable bed, sofa at the balcony, Wi-Fi, and free water bottles that were replenished daily. One highlight was the daily towel change, which kept everything fresh and comfortable. The sunbeds within the hotel compound were a great touch, keeping beach boys at bay and providing a more private and relaxing beach experience. The breakfast options were exceptional, offering a better experience than typical open buffet hotels. The variety and quality of the food were good we enjoyed the seafood dishes served during lunch and dinner. The mojitos were also a standout. Our waiters, Klara and another gentleman whose name I unfortunately forgot, were fantastic, providing excellent service throughout our meals. The staff were consistently helpful and courteous. Both my wife and I had massages at the hotel’s spa, and the experience was wonderfully relaxing and rejuvenating. The surrounding area felt safe and pleasant, making it easy to enjoy our time both at the hotel and exploring nearby attractions. We will definitely visit again.

I did notice that some items on the menu a bit dated. For instance, the hamburger didn’t taste very good, possibly due to it being off-season when we visited. This was a minor drawback in an otherwise enjoyable dining experience. I wish the staff had warned us about it beforehand.

To the beach you need to go down a few stairs. - beach was very clean and good to swim. - the hotel is like most premises there fenced off with a security guard. - it is a 10min ride to the Diani Airport, from where you can take a flight to Nairobi

- there wasn't anything directly around the hotel. So you will need a taxi to get there or get away. - wifi was not very stable

Very relaxed atmosphere with a surfer vibe, very friendly staff, good food and excellent location with kite center at beatiful section of the beach

It feels like owners have lost interest in maintenance so it unfortunately is starting to feel run down and not kept after. It is till a very nice place but in comparison with the price tag it feels out dated and not as well kept as other hotels in similar price range

Amazing beachfront location. Both restaurant and loungers are right on the seaside. You can hear the waves from you bed while sleeping. The staff were amazingly kind and friendly and really made the experience great. Next door is the Salty Squid Restaurant which good food and a restaurant set back from the beach if it’s too windy.

The hotel felt a bit run down and the pool was miniature in a strange location. The food could be better especially for the price.

Fantastic small hotel on a wonderful location. Best beach of Diani with pure white sand and super clean. Wonderful restaurant that gives a feeling that you are dining on the beach. The food served took sometimes a while but was always delicious. The room was very spacious and very clean. Staff was always correct and at your service. On top of this all there a super professional Kite surf and surf school run by a top team.

The waiting times at the restaurant but that's a small detail if you are on holiday. More toast for breakfast. A few more pieces served standard with the omelet or eggs would be better.

This property is on the best part of the Galu beach, not that crowded and well secured. The room was spacious with a lovely veranda. I had a very enjoyable breakfast. Their gym is very well equipped and you can book privet yoga classes as well. Wi fi was quite good and everywhere.

It was a bit too windy for me and I had to spend the afternoon by the swimming pool which is located behind the main building like in a secluded patio.

I have travelled quite a bit and this hotel stands out for me. Missy at the front desk is such a gem, incredibly helpful and really takes care of the guests, all staff even Caroline was wonderful. Resturant staff were incredible such as Robert, Melvin and Charity. All around the trip was fantastic, the rooms, the beach, organized private yoga sessions, the desk in the room, the view, the spa. The food at the resturant from breakfast until dinner, absolutely brilliant. Thank you and I will be back.

Incredible beach, delicious food, kind and attentive staff

The building seemed unfinished in many places and overall needed a fresh coat of paint. The grounds not facing the beach were also a bit disheveled / could use some gardening and tending to. The rooms were okay. Normally I wouldn’t mind this - but for the price we paid, these things matter

Loved the chill vibe of the hotel, comfortable, location, good mattress, etc. Great breakfast. Decent price for beer. Excellent staff, really enjoyed Athman, Melvin and Yvone. Excellent housekeeping.

The water in the shower and sink was out to only our unit for us for almost a full 24 hours, that was difficult (apparently they were working on a lower unit and inadvertently cut ours off). No compensation for it which was unusual. Beer could be colder. Some construction noise. Not enough drinking water provided, and only expensive heavy glass bottles. And smoking. Would be nice to have a non smoking beach chair and restaurant area even if outside. The wind can blow smoke right in your face and there were chain smokers around.
