I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The check-in and check-out processes were swift, making our stay hassle-free. The room was clean, comfortable and it was surprisingly spacious for New York, making it an ideal choice for a family. The room lived up to the pictures we saw online. The NH team is incredibly helpful and ensures that you receive the best service possible. The location is excellent, being close to Fifth Avenue, Grand Central Terminal, which provided us with easy access to the heart of the city. The convenience of having renowned restaurants within walking distance added a delightful touch to our stay.

The gym is quite small and with five people already there when I entered, it felt a bit crowded.

Beautiful lobby, a good amount of space in the room (really nice when you’re two friends traveling together), comfortable beds, quiet, plenty of counters space around the bathroom sink.

The lighting was odd. It seemed impossible to control the light on each nightstand independently. More importantly, there was no light near the mirror in the bathroom, so it was quite dim.

The hotel's location in mid-town is super convenient; it's close to MTA underground and buses, near Bryant Park, and easy walks to art galleries, shopping and other sights. We had a two-bed room, and the room was not super big, but had all the conveniences of a closet, iron, fridge etc. We were offered a super luxurious bathrobe and slippers. The double blinds were effective to keep out the bright sun in the morning. The room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. Wifi was good. The lobby was a nice place to hang out as you made plans for the day and/or have a drink before retiring for the evening. The staff were super friendly, and helpful.

We didn't avail any of the services at the hotel so cannot make comments to them. Of course if the room had been slightly larger, that would be great, but its New York, so this point is mute.

The hotel was very well located in central Manhattan. Only a shirt walk to main attractions like grand central station and the Empire State Building. It was easily accessible with the subway from the JFK airport. The room was very comfortable and clean. I had an issue with the light in the closet not turning off and right in my face at night but I know from talking to reception that it's not the standard and I would still recommend this hotel. The staff was extremely nice, pleasant, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was very enjoyable and sufficient to tackle a day of walking and sightseeing.

Small issue with my room with lights not turning off in the night. Air conditioning a little too loud to sleep. My bedroom window was tiny but I don't think you can get much bigger in NYC. I would still recommend this hotel.

Wonderful location and easy to get to from all the major train and bus stations in New York. The hotel lobby was so beautiful, smelt amazing and was very festive with lovely decorations and they even had live jazz music around the piano area in the evening of our stay which the staff informed us about upon check in. The staff were amazing too very helpful and friendly and we were able to store baggage before and after check in which was great! We only stayed one night in a junior suite as it had a sofa bed in a separate living area which was great for our son. The room itself was clean and spacious for a New York hotel room and the bathroom was very large and beautiful with a bath/shower and a separate full shower right next to it. Overall loved staying here and would stay here again if there was a good price deal.

If the room had not been on offer due to a Black Friday deal it would have been too expensive for the one nights stay. Even with the deal it was still more expensive than a one nights stay in a 5 star central london hotel that offers a high end spa package deal included with the price. I don’t understand why it’s so expensive but the stay was still enjoyable.

Very nice hotel within walking distance to grand central and bryant park (and many more if you are ok with walking more than 20 min). One of the cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen and that was a big plus. There’s a nice little bar downstairs and live music (mostly jazz) 4 nights a week. Bartender Phil was both a great mixologist and great company. I was traveling with my 10 year old daughter, so I can highly reccomend to women who are looking to stay at a nice & safe neighborhood.

Small rooms with no balconies but I guess that’s normal in NY. And no room service.

Great central location for a lot of the main sights by foot but also calm at the same time . Some decent food and drink options within immediate vicinity. Busy and bustling hotel with great bar area.

Hotel is used for airline crew who are prioritised in terms of room allocation. The hotel is being cleaned 24/7 as people arrive and leave at all hours of day . We had 4 rooms which varied considerably in terms of comfort and size despite being same room type . You have the ‘option’ to check in and choose your room shortly before arrival but due to booking via booking.com this isn’t an option. Booking.com advertise pastries and coffee each morning in lobby but this didn’t exist

The location is a dream, short walk to Times Square (8 minutes) but far enough that the area is peaceful. Also a short walk to the Empire State Building and flat iron district. With Grand Central Station being very close by, taking the subway all around New York is easy. The hotel is lovely with a charming fragrance greeting you as you enter the lobby, the room was very big especially for New York standards with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom too. Special shoutout to the Guest Relations Director Fredrick who is a gentleman and only too happy to help!

Loved the decor, the lobby, and the evening jazz performances in the lounge area of the bar. The guest room was the perfect size with a comfortable bed. My room was at the end of a corridor and I didn't hear noise in the hallways or from neighboring rooms.

The hotel advertized soundproof windows but I could still hear sirens and horns coming from the street, overall it wasn't too bad and I slept well. Unexpectedly a loud fan came on in the middle night that I was able to turn off, thankfully.

Location near Grand Central station and Times Square was good. Room (Premium Double with City View) was comfortable enough to keep a large suitcase open although there wasn't really a city view other than the street and the next building. Toilet counter was a bit small but wasn't a big deal. Rooms were also cleaned really well every day.

Absolutely zero help from the bell boy on duty. Extremely sullen young man who just hung around behind the reception area. Don't bother booking airport transport through the hotel - driver doesn't come into the arrival hall to wait for you, he just waits for you at the Uber pick up area and charges extra for credit card payments plus a tip. Probably better off just actually calling an Uber.
