The apartment was bigger than we expected, and the location and views were spectacular! The place is really well appointed - all the kitchen equipment and even a French laundry - so, perfect for longer stays too. We really appreciated the bottle of milk and sparkling wine that were supplied: a really nice touch.

Our only bugbear was with the booking service. We were repeatedly asked to check in and purchase additional services. I must have been getting two or three emails a day from them. That was stressful, because then I wasn't sure what had been actually booked and charged and when, and if everything was confirmed.

The location was fantastic, and the apartment decor was lovely and very comfortable.

The property’s location is ideal, right next to Auckland’s bustling harbor, and the room is modern and comfortable overall. Aside from minor issues like a broken chair and small fixture problems, everything else was satisfactory. The building’s security is excellent.

However, the communication felt cold and overly formal, with excessive procedures requiring all forms of ID, including real-time selfies, which made me uncomfortable. The process became cumbersome with constant emails from Quinovic, adding extra steps after booking on Booking.com.

Position , view, balcony

Access difficult . No one to help when you arrive , office off site. When we asked for directions to drive to the apartment we were told to turn right from the office - it was the wrong way down a one way street! Not a good start. We were given the keys to the wrong apartment so couldn’t get access from the car park or get into the apartment . Had to be helped by a resident who contacted Quinovic for us. Very impersonal . Poor service after a long days travel to get there. ( office only open for key collection we were told from 3 - 5 pm !). Literature pre arrival is very aggressive and threatening about what will happen to you if you break their rules, all seems extremely inflexible. A £200 deposit is taken from you pre arrival . Car parking costs £25 per day .

Great location, central city, super close to heaps of bars and restaurants. The huge balcony overlooking the harbour was great! The apartment was a great size, plenty of room for 2 x couples.

The apartment was looking a bit tired and dated - it needs some TLC. There was also mold on the bedroom curtains.

The more accurate question would be what didn’t we like, because we LOVED everything! Impeccable stay - cannot rate it highly enough. Definitely worth the money (wayyyy better than any small hotel room in a fancy hotel for the same price) and I’m so glad I opted for this apartment for our first trip to Auckland. Apartment itself was bigger than I imagined and having two separate bathrooms (one ensuite in master bedroom, one for main apartment), spacious rooms, fully functioning kitchenette, open lounge area and the most gorgeous of balcony’s with a view that could only be described as perfect made our trip memorable! It was remarkably clean also. The harbour was stunning. We loved walking along the wharf and getting out and about, and did so with ease. Everything was so close! One of our days involved catching a ferry to waiheke island and it only took us five minutes to get to the feeey terminal on the wharf. Another day involved a day trip to Rotorua and we were able to have the tour bus pick us up directly outside our apartment as Hilton hotel was a pick up point and Hilton is directly opposite. It just made everything so much easier. Will definitely be back! Thank you for a fabulous stay and for the wine and chocs too!

Amazing location and very comfortable well furnished and spacious apartment with lovely views and very central.

Check in process is very complex and would be better to be explained up front. I had already booked an airport shuttle to what I had assumed to be the location of the apartment only to be told a few days before that I needed to go elsewhere to pick up keys which was quite difficult with luggage, a child and no transport. It is only a short walk to the apartment but not an obvious one if you don't know the area. Also I didn't feel comfortable having to email photo id to get my code to the lock box at the separate location (risk of identity theft given all the information on me you already have) but didn't seem to have an option. I understand this is for security reasons but have never had to provide this amount of information previously.

Plans changed and had to drive there. Parking is $16 NZ per hour with constant police parking patrol. Instructions to find key for apartment were not clear and given days before arrival. We were told there was cheaper overnight parking but with 3 weeks of travel and luggage, we decided it was too far. FYI: don't bring a car. Uber was approximately $50NZ for one-way trip. First morning, construction noise at 6:00 am which continued until 4:00 pm each day right below our first floor terrace. We were not informed of noise issue until we arrived by a memo. We were given a discount for inconvenience and disruption to our peace and felt it was fair.

Great location right on the water! Apartment was lovely and had fantastic views. Close to everything!

Air conditioning was sketchy, apartment was very loud on the weekend nights! Lots going on in the harbor and it was loud!

The apartment was extremely spacious, comfortable, clean and in a fabulous location on the wharf. Beautiful views over the water and stunning sunsets. Handy to lots of restaurants, bars and Countdown supermarket as well as the ferries to Devonport etc. Kitchen was well stocked and cooking facilities were excellent. As two single women travelling together we loved having two bathrooms, but a bit disappointed that only the ensuite had a shower, the main bathroom just had a bath which we didn't use. Good communication with owners; instructions for entry were clear and easy.
