I arrived early in the morning, so I enjoyed sitting at the restaurant, and the breakfast was amazing! After a long flight, I appreciated checking in earlier than usual. The hotel is located in a perfect location and is convenient, and one can take an airport shuttle to the hotel very quickly. Ferries and the bus depot were within walking distance if one wanted to travel without a car. The staff were so friendly, and each one of them made sure that I enjoyed my experience during my stay at their hotel. Thanks to everyone, including DJ, Aditya, Arber, Ami, Mark and Leo, for making my stay very special :) When I return to Auckland, I will stay at the Fable again. Experiencing Fable has been one of the best memories of my trip to Auckland.

Great location with a ton of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Plus you can walk to many sights too. Great breakfast also. Pleasantly surprised when I got there as I did not expect it to be close to the water. I also liked that the hotel respected that you wanted to reuse your towels. Many times quite often than not, they say they practice protecting the environment by not changing towels if you ask not to but when you return from a day trip, you can see fresh towels. This is a first for me for a hotel to respect this and I liked it.

Location was a bit average. Hotel is located on Queen Street and the area is pretty horrible (not Fable's fault - more of an issue with the city itself). We arrived late at night and got dropped off a bit further down the road and had to walk past drunk people, huge amounts of homeless and a group of people sniffing lines off the back of a parked car. Once inside, the hotel itself is beautiful.

The noise from the nightclub downstairs was annoying but I accept that this is part of a hotel in the city experience Clean hotel Loved fresh flowers and friendly staff

It was a well presented 5 star hotel which looked great to the traveller. Their restaurant is amazing and sell yummy food, I upgraded to a bigger room at a cost of an extra $60. My $60 was returned to me because I requested it after my bathroom flooded because the shower drain was blocked and there was rubbish still on the balcony like a used can and lots of mould on the balcony, which is not acceptable. It let the hotel down in regard to a 5 star hotel and quality. I would fire the cleaners and hire better ones.

The mouldy balcony , the empty can left on the balcony and the flooded shower from a blocked drain. Probably hair in the drain.

Location and the concierge is awesome the desk staff need to be a little more attentive and you be awesome

first room good on 7n floor 2nd on 3rd on queen street side i specifically asked not to be on was terrible again. I have stayed with you a number of times and would like you to note not to put me on that side please. Also asked for chicken sandwich and they said had to check this is not acceptable for an establishment of your caliber. Also put some cutlery in the rooms and re load the coffee with the same coffee not different ones.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Loved bed. No view, but that's not a big deal forus. Staff was great. Kathy at the frond desk was especially helpful and accp,,odating. The food at dinner was very good to excellent. Buffet breakfast was ample, but individual items varied widely in quality. The location was fabulous. The fitness center was smal but mostly unused...great for me.

The Breakfast buffet could be improved by reducing the number of items and improving the quality overal. Several people served at the Concierge Desk. One young man was not helpful. Another older person was polished and alittle better. Not a strenght for Fable.

Bed was comfy. Bathroom very nice. Breakfast very good and staff great at breakfast Great location

The room was a little cramped in size but ok. Have had better rooms when staying especially as a returning customer. On my second night the restaurant obviously had a party and I waited to be seen and waited. I had to go to reception but no tables. Could I not have sat at the sofas and at least had a drink. How disappointing after a hard work day. I found something out of the hotel but bit of a shame in what was a nice stay.

Very nice hotel with courteous staff and ample space in the room. The location was great for exploring Auckland CBD. It was the perfect spot for the start of a 3 week journey to give us an excellent night's sleep. Wifi worked extremely well, too!

Only issue that came up during our stay was needing an early checkout (before 6am). It seemed as if the staff at the desk had stepped away, so we had to leave a note on the desk with the keycard. We noticed there was another room that had to do the same. Not a big deal as things happen, but I was worried for a minute if we could even do that. It seemed to have worked out, though!

Was hesitant to book after reading some reviews. But honestly loved it !! Think it’s perfect for a little romantic getaway with your spouse. We were greeted on arrival with a welcome drink and brownies as we checked in. Our room was upgraded from classic queen to luxury king for FREE !! Customer service in all of our stay was amazing! I loved how you can book the hot tub and sauna privately. My husband and I enjoyed having it to ourselves. The concierge picked us up and escorted us to the spa and sauna for the time we had it booked. Location was perfect and convenient to everything. I enjoyed breakfast especially the different tea stations.

Nothing. But just a recommendation for anyone who needs parking, PAY FOR VALET !! We parked at the uncovered Wilson parking and ended up paying almost $100 from check in to 10am the next morning . We stayed on a Thursday night so no weekend specials
