I like to use Quests when I am in New Zealand because I can rely on the quality of the service and accommodation. I was not disappointed this time. There was a problem with parking which the staff resolved really well.

This is not the fault of Quest Albany in any way, but parking is a drama in many parts of Auckland these days -- that said, the staff did do their level best to make it as pain-free as possible for us. Make sure you read the "Important Information" and book parking beforehand. If you are new to Auckland, be prepared for parking to be a regular cause of stress, with a very wide variety of restrictions on parking in different parts of the city. Even locals aren't always quite clear on legal parking.

10-12 minutes walk to the North Harbour Stadium. Washing machine and dryer to do our laundry during our stay. The fridge & freezer was bigger than the small bar fridges that you usually get in hotels. Which was really handy because we could fit a bag of ice in the freezer for our chilly bin and more than enough space to store our food in. Also liked that the microwave has a grill function to cook pies etc.

The bed was firm and we only had 1 pillow each that was flat so wasn't a very comfortable sleep.

The welcome at reception when we arrived was fantastic. The room was really clean and everything was there.

There wasn't anything to dislike, really.....but something I should of thought of on arrival, but didn't mention to Reception, was that as there was 2 of us staying, maybe a second entry card should have been issued to get into the room, as each time one of us went out and took the card, all the power and appliances switched off.

The room was spacious. Shower is amazing. It was close to where we needed to be, alot of choices nearby for dining etc. Having a washing machine & dryer was a luxury.

We booked for a large family and had to get 2 units, it would have been good if we could've been placed right next door to each other. Parking is a mission, but lucky it was easter weekend and the uni was closed, so we had a few spaces to choose from.

A lovely welcoming receptionist who was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Nothing was to much trouble. Rooms were spacious and clean with all rhe amenities. Easy access to Albany mall and surrounding shops. Do book a carpark with them as no parking anywhere around the building. A great stay will definitely consider staying again

No parking if you dont have a carpark booked.

Very pleasant staff clean and very comfortable. 2 bathrooms a real treat. Plenty of amenities. The shampoo and conditioner were lovely! After being in a variety of Aussie hotels for a week, coming home to NZ to much nicer accommodation was a welcome relief! Everything you need for a comfortable holiday, overnighter.

Very comfy, clean and practical unit. Toiletries provided were nice. Ironing board and iron, washer and dryer, dishwasher are very helpful to have. Great to have options for pillows too.

No complaints about the apartment but old Albany township has certainly gone backwards. Its a bit run down and dead at night, however there are plenty of restaurants etc just up the road.

The apartment was very clean and fully equipped. The staff were very friendly and also very helpful. The bed was super comfy and the shower pressure was very good.

This was our first time staying at a Quest Hotel although it was only one night it suited our needs perfectly. We highly recommend staying at the Quest in Albany.

Did not know how limited parking was as had not been informed that I needed to book thevunder apartment parking .Ended up parking down the lane outside library of university after dark.Seemed safe there . Beds ie twin ones requested were very small width &up against the plugs. King single better .Fan with light in bathroom appeared to stay on for a long time even after light switched off at night.This needs to be mentioned .Need instructions for oven as very difficult to work out .Otherwise a great stay for 2 nights while attending a weekend course in Albany.
