Staff were awesome thank you Steven and team for all your hospitality. The rooms were great fit for my Son and I. The tables outside designated for smokers nice touch though we don't smoke it gave my Son and I outdoor personal space. And the views of the sky over Hospital hill amazing as in photo from the balcony of our room

The staff were very thoughtful and helpful and happy to help out with extra items on request. The room was a good size and spotlessly clean.

The heater didn't really cope with the cold Taumarunui weather but there was a good electric blanket on the bed.

The hotel was off the main road, which meant it was quiet. The staff were lovely and accommodating, even calling afterwards when they thought we may have left something at the hotel.

The room didn't have air conditioning, which one a hotter day, would have been noticeable. The windows didn't have screens, which made it feel a little less comfortable having them open overnight.

Let’s be real, this is a basic motel that provides a good spot to rest your head on the road to somewhere else. Don’t expect the Ritz. But if you’re looking for a hot shower, clean bed linens, and a friendly owner that will try and accommodate your needs (like charge your car or recommend a good place to eat) then this is perfect.

Comfortable. Friendly & helpful staff. Very close to the main street with cafes and restaurants (Golden Kiwi & Jasmine) . Reasonably quiet. Perfect place if you happen to be cycling in the area. Alan is interesting & knowledgeable about cycling in the area. He also has a dedicated cycling shed.

Very cheap appliances. TV very small. Can barely be seen when sitting on the bed.

Lovely motel, all the facilities you need travelling such as a laundry room. The rooms even had an air frier if you wanted to cook. One street back from main high street where there are shops and lovely restaurants. Lovely host at reception and loads of parking exactly what you expect from a motel.

Nothing has everything we needed whilst travelling

Owners were very friendly and nice. The units were comfortable and very clean. We don't normally stay in small towns but found this better than expected. Very quiet. Will definitely stay here again.

Beds are a very person choice thing, but we found them hard and the pillows too soft. We also live the dark when sleeping, so full length blackout curtains is what we would have preferred. Otherwise, nothing we didn't like.

Great spot, within walking distance to town. Staff were lovely. Room was very clean and tidy. Would stay there again. Highly recommend.

Good location and quiet away from rhe main road

When turned the tv on it said no signal would have been nice to have watched it maybe we didnt press the right buttons but no big deal .We didnt turn it on until late in the evening to late to mention it and left early in the morning.
