Loved this hotel! I chose it to stay in an interesting historical site for a good value. The building is architecturally unique and right at the old city moat, which made for a beautiful walk. The hotel itself was recently renovated, so all facilities were in a good condition and clean. The staff speak excellent English and are very helpful. I appreciated that the room was so quiet we didn't hear any noise the whole time. Would stay again!

The only compromise was that the city centre is 15 mins away by foot, but that also meant seeing more of the city

This is a truly special hotel with utmost thought making it a magnificent hotel which stands apart from others. The staff were all so friendly and our room was very nice and spacious. Close to the historic centre made the location perfect. Gdansk is a very nice city with great ambience. The facilities and breakfast here at the hotel were really nice and I would whole heartedly recommend for any traveller while in Gdansk.

It is a clean and well presented hotel in a good location to the city sights. The rooms are very comfortable and provide all that is required for a short break. The decor is great and really captures the building's history well.

We had a disabled access room which was great for the extra space but the shower 'lip' was incomplete meaning water spread all over the floor and even a small amout spread out onto the carpet at one point. Not an issue and certainly didn't impact the enjoyment of our stay but something that could easily be improved.

Everything. This is a beautiful, historic hotel that has been sympathetically and stylishly refurbished. It used to be a hospital and many original features have been retained in a very cool way. The rooms are gorgeous - incredibly comfortable and quiet at night. It's well worth paying extra for the hotel breakfast too as it's great value for money. From the hotel, the main town is an easy 10min walk away and the surrounding area feels very up and coming with trendy coffee shops and cafes/restaurants with lots of veggie and vegan options. Would 100% stay here again.

The building of the hotel is very interesting. It was nice to see ramps for wheelchairs everywhere. The breakfast was good. Good design of the room. It was clean and pretty spacious. Bed is very comfortable, black out curtains are great. The walls between rooms are pretty thick, so I did not hear the neighbours.

It would be nice to have a shoe horn and flippers in the room. And with this weather I think some waterproof doormat near the door, so the guests do not stain the soft carpet in the room (it is a suggestion).

We really liked it the room. It was super comfortable and clean! I really like that they do have a sauna from 07:00-12:00 am. That’s was the main reason for me to choose this hotel! And it was very fast check, even earlier than I was expecting. Very friendly staff and good prices at the bar!

I did like everything. I don’t have any complaints. Maybe only the fact that I would like to have Netflix at the room. That will be brilliant for me because I like to watch the tv but I don’t speak Polish.

The room did not correspond to the one we had booked. The person in reception answered that there are only 3 such rooms with big windows and they are all already occupied

The whole hotel complex is nicely renovated and located in the older part of the city. Rooms are spacious and clean with very simple yet modern style. Members of the staff are very helpful in case of problems or questions. It's not my first time staying there and I'll definitely come back (mostly due to a fantastic value for money)!

If possible, avoid walking around the hotel alone after dark (trust me, I lived nearby for quite a while!). Depending on your neighbours, it might be noisy at night. Soundproofing is quite poor, so bring some earplugs if you're easily distracted by others. I've got a feeling that the hotel has deteriorated a bit over the past year. It wasn't feeling the same during my last visit. It used to be much much nicer, so I hope they'll catch up and bring it back to the old state!

Asked for an extra pillow when we returned to the hotel at midnight but reception was not able to provide one until housekeeping started at 8am

Lovely comfortable room that was spotless and had everything we needed for a great stay. Fast Wi-Fi, comfortable bed, nice pillows, warm room, smart TV, small fridge and hot powerful shower. The hotel itself is fab and has a lot of character. It was great to have the sauna and the relaxation area down stairs. It was open until mid-night too which was great. The location of the hotel is a short walk from old town....perfect location for us as it was nice and quiet.

Would be handy to have some bathrobes in the room for when guests want to use the sauna and return to their room to shower.
