I recently stayed at the Elaf Ajyad Hotel during my visit to Makkah, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is within walking distance to the Haram, which is incredibly convenient for those performing Umrah or Hajj. Although the walk includes a slight incline, the hotel provides a shuttle service that makes the journey easier, especially for the elderly or those with mobility challenges. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the amenities provided were satisfactory for a short stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring that any concerns or needs were addressed promptly. While the decor is slightly dated, the overall comfort and cleanliness made up for it. One of the highlights was the affordable pricing, making it an excellent choice for budget-conscious travelers who still want to stay close to the Haram. On the downside, the location on a hill might be challenging for some, and the shuttle service could be more frequent during peak times. Additionally, breakfast options were limited but acceptable for the price. we arrived at hotel 1 hour early thwen checking time .I requested early check in but they point at Time clock and says it's 4 Pm even 20 minutes before tine we tried asking again if we can get in our room and put our stuff check showed me the clock again I can give them benefit of being busy other then thus All things were on point would love you cone again and stay at same place

Very close to masjid al Haram. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff is very cooperative. Housekeeping and other facilities like tea refills and water were offered everyday at your doorstep, which was a step up compared to other hotels.

Hotel is located on an incline , but they do have cart services to escort you down the hill when youre leaving, however carts not available when you wanna go back up the hill which was pretty inconvenient. Breakfast costs 35. but its not worth it at all.

The location was close by and convenient for the price we paid. We booked a family suit and the rooms were spacious and we enjoyed our stay.

The location is an uphill. Hence, it might not be convenient for elderly people, but there is a taxi/golf cart available for getting guests down and up the hotel. Recommend to keep the phone number of taxi drivers for more convenience. Also, they need to upgrade the furniture and curtains as they are very old.

Check in Time is not done at the earliest, also the room key was not working, I have to go down from 12 Story and from 3 towers to reception for almost 5-6 times and it was solved after a long long waiting time. It can be shorten with immediate house keeping service.

Did not expect the hotel to be on a very steep hill. The climbing is really hard for aged people. The hotel overcharged me. I paid everything (full) in cash when I checked in. After 5 days, the day that I am supposed to check out, they deducted from my debit card. I am still waiting for my refund.

I’m not sure why the reviews are bad. It was a lovely experience with my family. I would get this place again.

The only downside to this property is its located on a hill. It’s a short uphill climb which was very difficult to make with kids and my elderly parents. The hotels buggy wasn’t available at all times and we ended up walking to haram most of the time.

it was near to Haram a 12 to 15 mns walk, space was good,overall hotel was good.

this hotel exists on a hilltop road so walking up is a bit difficult although they have Electric carts but ththat service need improve improve improvment and they should drop near to Haram.Room strive and house keeping need a lot improvement.

The staff was so friendly, we arrived early at the hotel and they helped us make an early check in so we are very grateful. Also, the hotel is so close to Haram just 3 mins walk. The bed was comfortable and room was clean.
