This is great hotel for the location. Very close to the Haram. Rooms are clean and tidy, ours was small but we only used it for sleeping. The staff are polite and courteous. Plenty of working lifts. The most important thing for us was how easily we could get to and from the hotel, especially after each Salaat.

We had booked two rooms, one for the children and one for us, but they couldn't be next to each which was a downside. The children were about 7 doors/rooms away, luckily mine are grown up so not too much of an issue. The other concern is that vehicles are not allowed near the hotel, you will most likely be dropped off in the "tunnel" under the clock tower (referred to as the -2 Floor). You will need to come up to your hotel, if you have a lot of luggage then you can get the bellboy to collect the luggage from the tunnel. They are very good.

Taxi can’t drop or pick up near to hotel - so be prepared to walk 5-7mins. This maybe an issue for those with mobility issues. Room size is small for a family suite - this didn’t bother us too much as our main intention was to spend as much time in the mosque; but maybe an issue for some. No dinner buffet option

Location. Location. Location. Very conveniently close to the Haram. Better than the hotels at the clock tower next to it (in terms of convenience) as there is only one set of lifts that takes you from your floor to the ground floor exit and you don't need to manoeuvre through a shopping mall to get out! Immediately facing the Haram as soon as you exit the building. We took the train from Jeddah airport to Makkah station. Then a free bus shuttle to the Jabal Omar stop next to the Haram. From there it was a 10 mins walk to the hotel. This was our second stay at this hotel and will book the hotel again for our next visit, Insha'Allah.

The location is good for old people... near haram

The access for parking while check in is not good... there is too much rush...

hotel is not part of bigger complex like clock tower. so in and out of hotel is super convenient. Access to Masjjid was very easy and smooth.

room size for 4 bed was smaller then other hotels I have stayed in the area like MovenPick, Zamzam, royal darul eiman. Bathroom was small and uncomfortable as well. access to hotel is not direct. you can't bring car or taxi to the door. there is road 300 feet from the door but no parking spot. very difficult to stop in the middle of the road to drop off with luggage. most of the time that road access is blocked as well. so basically you may have to carry luggage through either Masjid courtyard or through the main street. it can be upto 15 to 20 minutes walk.

It was our first diy experience to Mecca and Elaf Kinda hotel made it memorable and so very smooth. Firstly, they gave us a free upgrade (Alhamdulillah!) as well as an early check in (Alhamdulillah!). Esraa & Ghaya were the receptionist and welcome us so warmly and were the ones to give us the good news as above. We are very grateful. During our 6 night stay, Abdul Haleem, Mohd Imran & Abu Toub made our stay comfortable by cleaning our rooms neatly every day. We really appreciate the efforts for making our first umrah diy memorable. Syukran Elaf Kinda Hotel.

The only thing is that they do not have a drop off place for vehicles to pick up and drop off. You have to drop off at pullman hotel at clock tower.

My recent stay at the Elaf Kinda Mekkah Hotel was a mixed bag. The highlight was definitely the upgrade to a suite with a Haram view – absolutely breathtaking! Waking up to that view was truly special. The housekeeping team were excellent, keeping the suite spotless throughout my stay. A huge thank you to them! The bellmen were also superb, effortlessly handling my luggage both upon arrival and departure. The hotel's proximity to the Masjidil Haram is another major plus point; it's incredibly convenient.

However, the lack of complimentary breakfast was disappointing, especially considering the price point. It would have significantly enhanced the overall experience. While the location and service in some areas were fantastic, this omission left a slightly sour note. I would recommend the hotel, but be aware that breakfast is not included.

I liked the attitude of the staff the most. They are responsive and a listening lot despite the language challenge. My wife and I enjoyed the family like environment. Mr Mohammed Absaruddin from Housekeeping was always there to attend to our needs. We also like the closeness to Haram. In fact the hotel was literally in the haraba or premises of the Mosque.

I would advise the management of the Hotel to inspect the mattresses as some may need to be replaced. In the case of our bed room14/16 we could feel and see the springs which can cause orthopedic problems for guests. Same with the door which needed the attention of the carpenter a few times.

Incredible Location, staff are very helpful, housekeepers were so decent and responsive.

I wish the room could be more wider, but anyway it was efficient and contains all what I needed.

I stayed with family for 4 nights in this hotel with Haram view room. Excellent dealing with the guests and daily calls by the hotel management to know if we were facing any issues. I must appreciate the housekeeping staff and the receptionist (Miss Asraa). Location is more than ideal, liked the location even better than Pullman or Swissotel (also stayed previously) as the walk to haram is more convenient.

The furniture in the room needs upgrade or repair, but nothing serious.
