I recently stayed at the Makarem Hotel in Makkah and had a positive experience. The staff are well-trained to serve international guests, with good communication skills to handle any inquiries. A standout aspect of their service is the continuous emails hotel sends to check in on your stay and offer assistance, which adds a nice touch of care. Additionally, their shuttle service to Al Haram is available every half hour, which is a great convenience and effectively addresses the hotel's location. Overall, the Makarem Hotel provides a comfortable stay with attentive service.

The parking area at the hotel is quite congested, making it challenging to park the car. The entrance to the parking lot is narrow, and the overall space is limited, which felt like navigating through a driving test.

I had another great stay at the hotel. The breakfast was delicious, as always, with a wide variety of options to choose from, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The location is excellent, and since I've stayed here many times before, I was already familiar with how convenient it is to get around. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a relaxing environment after a long day of travel. The bed was simply amazing. Super comfy! The staff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay, and I look forward to coming back again!

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, and there’s honestly nothing I could complain about or suggest for improvement. If the prices and discounts became more affordable, especially during peak times, I would happily extend my stay and enjoy the experience even more.

Breakfast was good giid variety, and the restaurant manager was great.

The shuttle bus should have a schedule as we were not sure what time it would be there, but overall, it was frequent bus service before and aftee each Salah and take 5 min to reach Bus stop that is almost 7 min walk away.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and this is my only go to hotel in makkah. the beds and pillows are comfortable rooms are spacious and lighting is cozy not bright in the room that helps build a relaxing atmosphere. the breakfast is really nice, staff are accommodating and always provide prompt needs. the bus shuttle to the Haram is always there for you and only takes 6minutes to arrive near the haram by swissotel. the rooms and beds are very nice to same standard as the 5 star hotels in the clock tower, the price is more reasonable I recommend people book this hotel to get more for their money than going near the Haram and paying extortionate prices.

In the Juniour Suite the plug sockets are not near the bed, which is a good thing as it is better to sleep away from phones due to the radiation emitted from phones being too close by.

The hotel is very clean and staff is amazing.. All the services provided right on time..

The shuttle bus needs improvement. In my opinion there should be two busses so that every 15 mins there is bus available instead of every 30 minutes..

It was excellent and all the facilities are amazing and worth it. Specially the break fast were amazing with full of varieties. Room were nice and staff is very friendly specially the guest relation manager Miss Amjaad and the hotel supervisor Mr Hasan both are very respectful doing god job. Car parking facility is also very good

The overall experience was good, with regular shuttles being a lifesaver. The breakfast was really good, I would come back just for it. Check Sayed cooked up a feast for us and the service was excellent by Hassan Karim.

We whole family found the receptionist Ms. Amjad at Makarem Hotel to be an excellent one in prospect of cooperation and solving problems extra help. Whenever we called reception, we found Amjad there. Any need (for example water bottles) or complain (for example telephone) she managed to manage them instantly. She is an excellent asset for the Makarem Umm Alqura Hotel. Jazahallahu kulla khair.

The receptionists boys (who were inexperienced, untrained, ignorant) must be replaced with experienced and cooperative staff members. The trainees should be given training away from the reception counter. We suffered extremely due to the maintenance work which was going on in 7th and 8th Floor. We were in 6th floor. Drilling machining sound hammered our heads for the whole day and another half day. It was very painful. At last we complained to Amjad and she moved us to the 12th floor. Many thanks to her. Otherwise I had determined not to stary at Makarem in future. Bus Service is not sufficient. At least there should be two buses. You have to wait for long time standing at the parking of bus where there is nothing to sit upon.

I had a great stay at the hotel. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, and the staff were excellent, very friendly and extremely helpful throughout my visit. The breakfast offered a good variety of options, and the quality of the food was amazing.

As a constructive comment, I believe increasing the frequency of bus services would improve convenience for guests commuting to and from Harram. Nevertheless, I want to highlight that the bus drivers were exceptionally helpful and friendly which made the experience more pleasant.
