Breakfast was fantastic. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. North Vancouver is a great location if you want to look at Vancouver and not be in Vancouver. Plenty of outdoor activities within a short distance. A short drive to the North Shore and plenty of parking options to ride the sea bus to downtown Vancouver and then take the sky train to other Vancouver sites is best option to avoid the frustration of dealing with downtown traffic, the unpredictable Lions Bridge crossing, and finding downtown parking.

The high price for the stay. This was not Cystal's fault, just due to the "Taylor Swift" effect. However, the price for a comparable room in a downtown Vancouver hotel would have been about the same without breakfast and friendly hosts.

It’s in a safe, quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of downtown but close to the highways and easy to get around. The gardens are beautiful and the room is very nice. Well appointed and the whole place is very welcoming. The hosts are lovely and go out of their way to make it a great place to stay. The food is generous and great. We hope to return soon.

Nothing, it was just perfect for our stay.

We have stayed at bed and breakfasts and hotels in 27 countries together and travelled and stayed at several at places across the United States. Crystal's View Bed and Breakfast in North Vancouver is by far the most beautiful, elegant, yet comfortable home we have ever stayed, and beautifully decorated. Crystal and John are by far the best hosts we have ever encountered. They are extremely personable, fun to be around and have the most excellent service we have ever received at a bed and breakfast. Crystal's cooking is comparable to any other gourmet breakfast. Their property, inside and out to include the rooms are immaculate. Crystal's BnB is impeccably maintained as is the inside of each room of their house. We not only enjoyed their company, and our accommodations , we plane to make Crystal's our place to stay whenever coming to Vancouver. If you love small venues, Crystals is the place to stay!

The best part of Crystal's place is Crystal herself - she is the best, most caring host ever. She showed genuine interest in ensuring we have a great time in Vancouver. Gave us great suggestions, arranged discount coupons, offered help to reserve a nice restaurant for dining, and tried to accommodate us in every way she can. The room was spacious and impeccably clean. We stayed at Vivaldy, which had a private balcony with a superb view of the city. I liked the bathroom most - it is so fancy and well-equipped. Crystal welcomed us with her homemade cookies (a special kind - haven't had those before) which almost saved our lives as we has a very long journey and were practically starving. We did not get a chance to taste her very famous breakfast because we had some other plans, however, I did try her berry yogurt which was very tasty. Overall, we couldn't have expected a better BnB experience.

What's not to like? :)

The garden was beautiful, and the house was extremely well kept, with gorgeous decorations everywhere. The balcony of our room faced towards downtown from on the hill giving us an excellent skyline. The neighborhood was quiet, but close by to busier areas.

There was nothing to dislike. Everything was perfect. If I had any feedback it would be that a sign by the road would be helpful to show the entrance, as the one that is there is a bit hidden by a hedge.

The breakfast was adequate The omelettes were very tasty The bed and pillows were excellent Very comfortable I really liked the greeting that I received and the explanation about my accommodation It was fun meeting other guests The conversations during breakfast were informative and friendly I felt well taken care of by Crystal

I have no comments to make other than being surprised by the price I did find it expensive as I have not stayed at a B&B before

The room is beautiful, the whole design is very vintage very fine, even and the room door key are matching, very detailed very attentive. The hosts were very welcoming. We missed the delicious breakfast due to our own reasons, but the host sent us a nice little gift. Just like a mother who couldn't bear to let us miss breakfast .......

From the photos, I thought there was a balcony or terrace with an ocean view. But in reality, there are only windows, but the view out of them is beautiful too!

Crystal is so warm and knowledgeable about the area. I felt like I was saying goodbye to a friend when we left. Bed was SO comfortable! Quiet neighborhood but close to all the best hiking spots we were interested in.

Crystal's View B&B was beautifully decorated and very clean throughout. It was also situated well for day trips into the city and to local Provincial parks. Our bedroom and bathroom was spacious. The bed, linens, and pillows were extremely comfortable and we slept like babies each night. It also had a great tv with Netflix. Breakfast was homemade each morning and wonderful! Lastly, Crystal and John were gracious hosts and fun to get to know. Highly recommend to couples of all ages.

we loved absolutely EVERYTHING! Crystal, the host is lovely, and so is her family! she is super attentive and nice! her cooking is amazing and she treated us like family! the room is nice and cozy, the neighborhood is super quiet and the bed is very comfortable so you sleep great every night and the jacuzzi is amazing! we will definitely come back!
