New & comfortable hotel close to Times Square (10 minutes walk). I loved the Nespresso coffee machine in the room and quality shower gel/shampoo. I thought there would be little space to store clothes but there are drawers under the bed and lots of hooks. Very different style from Pestana of Portugal or Brazil, but it's very nice for the NYC context. Friendly staff and stored our bags after check out.

It could have a shower hose (there was only a shower above) or offer a cap. Wind came through the air conditioning even when the device was turned off. There could have been an electric kettle in the room as they left tea bags but there was no way to do them. There was a lot of noise from the street, works, ambulances and traffic, but you are on Times Square, so take your ears covered.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, with modern and stylish decor that makes you feel right at home. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our entire stay. The location is perfect—very convenient and close to everything we needed, from restaurants to local attractions. It made getting around so easy. We also really appreciated the daily cleaning service. Every day was provided with fresh towels, which added a nice touch to our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

While the hotel itself is beautiful and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful, our stay was unfortunately overshadowed by a major issue with the room. When we first entered, there was an overwhelming amount of lemon air freshener sprayed, as if they were trying to cover up a bad smell. The next day, we realized why: a strong odor of urine filled the room, and we suspect it was coming from the carpet. The smell was awful and made it hard to feel comfortable in the space. While we somewhat "got used to it" when staying in the room, every time we returned from being out, the stench hit us immediately as soon as we opened the door.

The location of the hotel is great, right next to Hell's Kitchen on 9th ave where all the restaurants and bars are. Spoilt for choice. The Port Authority bus station is 3 minute walk away, we caught the bus into Jersey for shopping at The Mills Outlet Jersey Gardens (Tax free on clothes), Woodbury Gardens Outlet, and Wallmart. There are no real supermarkets in New York anymore, just small 7 11's etc. We wanted to do some clothes shopping, so the bus station was amazing and easy to use for us to get into Jersey for shopping. 42nd street is also good with many attractions and sights to go and visit. We didn't eat at the hotel, we mostly just popped into places we could grab a quick bite like bagels and then rush on to the next thing to see. The room was clean and a standard size, there are a lot of complaints on about room sizes, but it's NY and we didn't go there to spend the holiday in the room. We literally were having the greatest sleep of our lives, we were so tired from being out an about viewing the amazing sights we just collapsed when we got back to the room. For us, no issues with the room at all, enough room for us to do what we needed, room was cleaned every day. The staff are very friendly too, they were able to give us loads of information and never seemed to be rushed when speaking to you, felt like they really appreciated us being there. Get used to the subway, we used this every day, purchasing a unlimited week ticket and we just jumped off and on busses and the underground all over NY, this was a massive time saver. We used some offline MTA subway maps to navigate with a combination of Google Maps and Moovit for the busses. I would stay here again and will be looking when we come back soon. No problems with people, never felt unsafe at any time. We also caught the train from the NY JFK airport from Jamaica to NY Times SQ. We caught the underground a lot from 123 on Times as well, 1 is the express train. Hope this helps someone.

Gym was a little small and having to walk down loads of stairs in the lobby to go to the toilet.

great location - breakfast, so-so

the only problem: I arrived late, after 9 pm. I knew the door would be locked, but there was no one at the desk, and I had to bang on the door so that a guest let me in. It was 17 degrees. Since I had no key card yet, I had to wait in the frigid temps.

I got a good rate because it was mid-Jan and I expected an average, no frills hotel but I was happily surprised by the friendliness of the staff, hotel manager, the welcome, ease of check in/check out, sense of security in the building (as a woman traveling alone), the basket of fruit, coffee & breakfast station, etc. I appreciated being given information ahead of needing it. The hotel and room were impeccably clean and comfortable.

If I could tweak something, it would be the lighting in the room, especially the ones facing a courtyard or other buildings necessitating the blinds being closed. Since the rooms are smaller and efficient, more light would help create a feeling of space. I found it a bit dark. Also, I’m not a huge fan of the decor at CR7 disco? 80’s grey? Reminds me of our student union at college.

Everything. The structure was selected as an alternative solution to the Hyatt Times Square that messed up the reservation and we had to book one night last minute. If I knew this structure earlier, I would have booked here the entire stay there in New York.

The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The rooms while tight were perfect for myself and my teenage daughter. They accommodated my request for a lower floor. The espresso machine in the lobby and the bagels were a nice touch. The hotel was very clean, and always felt safe.

Not that I didn’t like this but the walk to the subway was typically a couple blocks away so maybe a challenge for people with mobility issues. Our room was by the stairs and it felt like at certain times the heave fire doors were being slammed quite often. However, the soundproofing between rooms was excellent as we never heard our neighbors.

Honestly, everything. The staff were super friendly as soon as we arrived and were always willing to help. We got a good deal on the security deposit because of booking through Booking.com, which was a nice surprise. The hotel was always clean and immaculate. The rooms were spacious enough, we didn't spend much time in them other than maybe for a bit of a rest during the day and to sleep etc. We had a double and a twin room, and both were exactly what we required. Big enough bathroom that was well equipped, clean, and a great shower. Cleaning services were good each day, we only missed out on a cleaned room on the Sunday with poor timing by us on when we returned to the room for a short break. Would highly recommend this hotel if you want to be 2 blocks from Times Square. The street outside is not very busy anyway so it doesn't feel like you're so close and the 2 nearest subway stations, Times Sqaure and the Port Authority, will get you wherever you want to go in NYC.

This is a complete nitpick, but the AC units in our rooms could probably do with an upgrade. Maybe they're already working on that but that's the only complaint that I could have although the AC worked perfectly fine and kept the rooms nice and cool.

This hotel has an amazing location, we could walk to all main tourist attractions from the hotel. Staff are so welcoming and friendly. Room was small but comfortable, fresh towels and bedding was changed by house keeping everyday. There is also a coffee machine, air conditioning, clothes steamer and good quality hair dryer. For my girls there bathroom has full bottles of good shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. If I knew this I wouldn’t have brought these with me. The mirror in the bathroom is really good lighting for doing your make up. Me and my partner are in our early 20s and we felt very safe staying in this area of New York.

The only negative is the noise from outside while trying to sleep but I guess this can’t be helped with it being a city.
