our room was included breakfast and it was good, especially waffles were good. check in and out was easy. the location is good to walk to any touristic places but not the best neighbourhood. Nice size room and big size bed. Coffee and tea maker in the room. everyday housekeeping, cleaning, towel replaced, and free water was good.

Furniture was a bit old but at least good quality wood, not plastic. We stayed 18th floor and no view... No pool, no spa, no roof top bar but we know it before. No slipper and bathrobe for our room but not a big deal. a few homeless around the hotel but no problem again. rooftop bar is closed now...

From the second we arrived the staff were wonderful and made us feel so welcome. when leaving and returning daily the staff wished you a great day and then welcomed you back with genuine smiles. We knew breakfast was included but we thought it was just continental. To our surprise you got a full cooked breakfast, waffles, fruit, cereal the works and it was amazing. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Room service was to a very high standard. We were told at check in that the room would be done every other day but it was done everyday. the pillow cases, sheets and towels were changed daily. The hotel was central to pretty much everything. the Port Authority- bus and subway station was right across the street so you could travel anywhere.

There is nothing I did not like

The staff was very helpful. Abraham at the front desk was very responsive when I had inquiries prior to my stay. I was able to get an early check-in time for 12pm. Samuel at the bar was extremely nice and we had good conversation. The hotel itself works for a short stay. The staff works hard to make guests feel comfortable.

The bed sheets in my room smelled like cigarettes. The area is close to everything, however NYC isn't the same. NYC smells like hot garbage. There's a lot of homeless people/drug addicts that surrounded the area. The view outside the window of my room is a parking lot and buildings. The government needs to really work on cleaning up the city or more and more people won't return. I used to love going to NYC however as of now, I won't return to NYC. I feel bad for saying it because the staff at the hotel rely on tourists for their income. So I really hope that the mayor of the city will focus on improving the street conditions.

Very nice hotel with excellent location. Breakfast better than we expected. Very helpful staff. Good value for the money we paid for our stay.

I would certainly give a higher rating, but we had a stressful situation with the deposit. Due to a system error, we were charged way much more than we should have been, and a large portion of our budget for a trip to New York was blocked for the rest of our stay. The hotel manager did everything in his power to fix this, but the deposit was not unlocked until after we returned home.

All the reception staff were absolutely fantastic. It was extremely hot whilst we were there so each afternoon when we returned to the hotel there was ice cold water in reception for us to drink. It was greatly appreciated. We love walking so for us it was in walking distance to many shops, Times Square and Central Park. However, on the corner of the street there was a metro station and it was less than 10 mins walk away from Penn Station.

Our room felt rather cramped. It had a king bed but it left hardly any room to move about the room in.

Great position at walking distance to Times Square and in front of Port Authority terminal. Very comfortable bed and large room for this price and such in a central location. Staff kind and helpful during the entire stay

I would have appreciated a traditional/complete housekeeping, especially regarding the carpets since I'm always at risk of allergies. but we were told about receiving a light housekeeping before our stay, so they were honest about that. I guess it's a new trend post pandemic, since it's the second hotel I stay in that has This policy. Anyway,, rooms were clean and towel changed.

Our room had 2 double beds, shower in bath, barfridge, safe, bathroom accessories and coffee pod machine which was replenished daily. Breakfast was the same daily however, was more than enough. Location was very central, close to Times Square being between 7 & 8th Street on 40th West Street and close to takeaways. Our room had no view but we did n't go to NY to look at the view from our room! Considering 30 floors lifts were very fast and no long waits. Left luggage stored free of charge which is really a bonus as most flights leave in the evening - also check out is at 12 noon which is fabulous normally have to be out by 10. The lobby staff were brilliant -we were allowed into our rooms immediately which was a bonus - must mention Giancarlo who was very helpful many times and a special mention and thanks to KEVIN who - at very short notice had to organise a shuttle to JFK after our shuttle driver failed to arrive and we were on a tight deadline! All lobby staff have to be commended - they were helpful and always had a smile. If you would like a room with a view make sure you book early. This is not a high end hotel - but is reasonably priced and has all the necessities.

Happy hour was a bit feeble, made use of it once only.

The location is pretty good, close to the metro and bus station the hotel is very clean and the staff is nice

The people outside at night are not sympathetic since it is close to the bus station the furniture are pretty old

Anton on reception was incredible. We were originally placed on a low floor and after speaking to him to see if we could be moved to a higher floor he did everything he could to sort it out for us. We were travelling for our honeymoon so the extra steps Anton did for us really made it extra special.

The area for eating breakfast was quite small, which is understandable given the hotel is quite small but it meant there was a lot of tables crammed into a small space. The breakfast was lovely, but perhaps a time booking system for breakfast would be better to stop the overcrowding.
