Martin is absolutely FANTASTIC!! We got engaged while we were there and my diamond fell out as we were walking into the hotel and without hesitation he started to help us look for it. He was so nice and very accommodating and overall made our experience so great. Him and my fiance chatted everyday we were there and always checked in if we needed anything, Martin deserves a raise!!!

Another staff member, can't remember her name at this point but I think she might be the manager, was not very friendly and kind of rude. She's the reason we won't be staying there again.

It’s 15min or so walk to nearest Subway which isn’t idea - but in saying that you can walk to Broadway / Times Square in 30-35min. One day the cleaner left my door ajar/unlocked which is not good.

The girl at the front desk was great. Good location for what we were doing. They gave us a free drink at check-in. The street was not a busy street, so we were able to get parking, which saved money.

The room was nice, but it didn't have great lighting or table/counter space. Also, the bed was low to the floor, which was a pain.

cute, super clean, didn’t feel like I was at a place with shared accommodations. like the minimalist vibe, didn’t feel like an excuse to be cheap. was actually pretty stylish.

restaurant staff was MIA. Wouldn’t say it was a good value, private room was about the same price as Hyatt Place. i’m looking to go back to the same area for work in a couple weeks, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending this to work colleagues, since it doesn’t quite compare to the amenities of a hotel (like no safe in rooms.) And even by New York standards, standard private room is pretty small.

It was clean. As typical at New York the room Is not that big but it had a good bathroom and wardrobe with enough space

The reception team was not always at the front desk at the time I arrived. I had to wait a little bit every time I needed something but not a big issue unless you are in a rush.

The fire alarm kept beeping in my room which was a bit annoying. The location is okay but not great. I might stay here again and go to the rooftop for the free happy hour but the price could be better for the lack of amenities and sort of depressing room.

The bed and bathroom was comfortable. The bar and restaurant were cute and had good food and drinks. The location and the price were great.

The concrete floors were freezing and there was a space heater that didn’t help much. Could definitely have used more linens, a larger comforter and some area rugs.

The location is great and I love the boutique feel of the hotel. The interior design is very cool, bed is actually very comfortable and I had a nice view of the Zaha Hadid building across the street -- though the room has a bit left to be desired.

like many others have said - the room switches are just ridiculous. Seems like so much care was taken in designing the low key comfort/dimly-lit-cool-industrial vibes of the rooms and common areas and no one thought about how to turn the lights and window shades on/off...
