Very nice B&B, with a good breakfast. It's very nicely decorated, the shower was powerful and the bed was comfy.

Not a huge issue, but staff were not around all the time. When we got back in the early evenings, there was never any staff around, but you get a code to let yourself in. The carpark was normally full, so we tried to make sure we didn't go anywhere in the car too late in the day to make sure we got a space. It's about a 10 minute walk from the centre of Bath, which was fine, but it is up a hill on the way back.

Location was great, very convenient for the city. Bed was very comfortable, and the room very clean.

Very limited choice of fruit to have with yoghurt( only melon for 4 days running)for breakfast. No granola so had to be muesli. We were at breakfast early so they obviously hadn’t run out just chose to offer water melon and tiny bit of honeydew. For someone who doesn’t like to eat more at breakfast it was very disappointing. Very limited storage in bedroom and just 3 wire coat hangers in wardrobe. I know it’s just small details but they are important and wouldn’t take much to amend.

Beautifully presented accomodation. The breakfast was made to order each day and was lovely. The bed was comfortable . The staff were very friendly and obliging. The breakfast room was large and airy and there was a small sitting area in the lobby. The parking was good and off street. I would recommend choosing a large garden room rather than a king room. There is a bus stop across the road but the walk into Bath is easy although coming back is all uphill.

The room and the ensuite were very small. There was nowhere to sit comfortably in the room and really nowhere for a proper seat. The room was fine for short stay visitors with an overnight bag but for those travelling extensively bags had to be stored in our car. The road in front of the accomodation is extremely busy and difficult to find entry initially while on the corner of this road.

Lovely, clean, quiet room; the fact that the doors had traditional key locks and were not card operated meant that doors were not slammed when closed. Spacious bathroom with a great shower. Complimentary bottles of water and biscuits which were replenished the next day. Comfortable bed. Netflix available on the TV. I liked that there was the option to have the room serviced as so many hotels/B&Bs stopped offering room service after Covid. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in late November and there were some really beautiful Christmas decorations, even complimentary mince pies (and mints) in the reception area. The reception isn't staffed but it's easy to get hold of someone in an emergency. The property was within walking distance of the town centre so it was handy to be able to leave the car in their car park and not have to pay for car parking in town.

Housekeeping had forgotten to put new miniature toiletries in the bathroom - two of the bottles had been half used by previous guests. But the toiletries were replenished the next day. In the daylight, you could see marks on the headboard from people's heads. But these were just minor issues considering that we had a wonderful stay.

Victoria & Team just so helpful. Warm Greetings by all on arrival & at brekkie. Help carrying luggage. Delicious Breakfast - lots of choice. I was kindly given a lower ground room for my disability. Quiet room 12. Free on site parking. Bus stop opposite hotel for town. Spacious breakfast room. Lovely ambience. Comfy beds. Freeview TV.

Steep long hill from hotel to town - not capable of walking with disability. Narrow path to town for wheelchair also. This isn't a negative just a little heads up for disabled people. Long wait for taxi's in town but bus available. December 2024.

The property is well situated to the cities historic sites. It is about a 15 minute walk to Bath Cathedral. It is an easy location for a taxi driver to get in and out of if you are going to sites outside of Bath. It is also easy for a taxi driver to get in and out of since the historical parts of Bath are very crowded. The property itself is beautifully furnished. We had room eight, which faced the garden and was very quiet. But any room would be quiet because it is set back from the road. The breakfast, which was included, was above and beyond what you would expect. In addition to a well laid out Continental breakfast with pastries made in house, there were about six hot meal choices ranging from a full English breakfast to Eggs Benedict to fruit topped waffles! And all were amazing! We loved our four day stay here. However, we would have preferred softer pillows. I think we are missing our down pillows from home! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

The only thing we would have preferred was down pillows. This is probably an unrealistic preference because we have been travelling in the UK for two weeks now and everyone seems to have the same hard pillows.

Tyndall Villa has cozy rooms with free parking on the site. The staff were kind and very helpful on all requests. It's more of a bed and breakfast than a hotel hence follow the information provided before your arrival. Also located on the hill so if you plan to go to city, either by Car, Bus or walking. It was nice to walk though especially after having eaten. There is no restaurant on site nor in neighbourhood or we didn't see one closeby.

WIFI kept dropping as first night it didn't work. Breakfast time is quite short(1HR 30 MINUTES) hence a bit pressure when one is on holidays.

The property was very charming. The rooms were smaller than expected but were comfortable. The shower, however was very small and the cleanliness around the runners was poor, very much in need of a good clean. Toilet brushes need renewing! Also headboard had stains and ceiling cobwebs. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff at breakfast were very helpful and polite. Unfortunately we did not see anyone at reception upon arriving or leaving which was disappointing, no personal touch, just a window sill with the key to collect and a bowl to leave your key when leaving. These small changes could make a big difference to the place.

The accommodation was to a high standard. The staff were helpful. Breakfast good.

The shower was leaking and the toilet seat was extremely loose. Victoria was helpful and tried to resolve the problem. On the last day of our stay the room was not serviced. We needed fresh towels as shower leaked due to leaking shower. When I managed to get hold of Chris no apologies. Chris said he was getting a plumber in the day we left. I thought wonderful! Also there was an infestation of ants in the bathroom and I found him extremely unhelpful, (when l did finally manage to get through to him). This somewhat marred our stay. Ant compensation would be much appreciated. On arriving we asked Chris if we could go in garden. He said key had snapped off and locksmith was coming next day. To my knowledge this never happened.
