Location is in between BSI Bus station and the Hallgrimskirkja Church and city centre about 10 min walk each. Accessible to everything. Newly renovated. Clean room and bathroom. We stayed in second floor. One big common bath and toilet room. Common small dining room. Common kitchen in 1st floor shared by 1st and 2nd floor guests. Complete kitchen facilities, microwave, stove, cooktop, utensils, kettle and coffe maker. Free towels and extras inside the bathroom. TV with Netflix in the bedroom, size is good. Free fast wifi.

No in person reception, you need to message them online, quick response though. They will message your house and room pin upon check in. All doors has pin pad. You can access the building at 12nn and room at 3pm, no baggage lockers, you can rent one at BSI terminal. No TV in common area nor any entertainment facilities, so you cant stay there even you have access at 12nn, just protection from cold outside.

For me, it's important to sleep well in silence. We had a very good bed and it was perfectly safe and sound, no noise or loud people in other rooms. The kitchen was excellent equipped for what we need for our stay. They have a laundry room as well, You can use it. The bathroom was clean, and everything was functional. Clean white towels are always for use. The building looks old from the outside, i don't know why, but it's pretty new everything. Very good area to go everywhere, even walking. In all, for us, this was very worthy.

Wifi went down very often, but the guy there helped to fix it.

This guest house provided a pleasant stay - clean, comfortable, and a good location (close to bus station & an easy walk into town). Also, given the bathroom was a shared space it was surprisingly clean & exceeded expectations.

Although our room was very clean, there was an overlooked corner of the ceiling above my bed with a patch of black mold that looked like it had been there awhile. Also, since the kitchen is a shared space, it would be helpful if house rules were posted to let guests know what is expected of them to avoid “the tragedy of the commons”. (e.g., dirty dishes left in the sink or placed in a dishwasher with clean items that had yet to be put away -both situations were encountered during our stay.)

Location was good and its right in the center of both downtown and Reykjavik terminal from where all thr tour starts. Room was new , clean and good enough for 2 people. Bathroom was clean and tidy and was cleaned every 1-2 days kitchen was equipped with enough dishes, microwave, kettle, coffee machine which is good

1) no wardrobe in twin bed room so quite difficult to manage for 6 nights stay 2) dim lights in room 3) no mirrors inside room so had to go to common area to get ready 4) no sugar and tea sachets available. there were only coffee sachets 5) room was not cleaned up even once in my 6 nights stay

Information from the accommodation about checkin was easy to follow. Rooms were nice and access to kitchen facilities were great. Was able to walk very easily to city center and around downtown area without the need for public transportation after arriving. Great for a short stay or a starting point for day trips as access to bus pick up points is very accessible.

No onsite staff or front desk. Arrived very early in the morning and unfortunately did not have a place to or know where to store bags in the city center.

The room is small but was perfect for what I needed; if you travel lightly and are organised you can totally make it work. I loved that it was well heated all the time, it really makes a difference in cold Iceland and it made it feel like a home.

There was a smell coming from the bathroom unless the bathroom window was open the whole time, it was either sewage or sulphur and in case it was the latter, I imagine it might be common in Iceland and possibly nothing that can be done about it.

It is a very good place to stay, just in the center of everything. The room was very cozy and it had a TV with Netflix and the bed was very comfy. Also it had a fridge inside the room.

Toilet shared between 5 rooms. Sometimes it was a long wait to be able to go in, because is just one for all the rooms.

-Kitchen well equipped -Bathroom clean -Location excellent to walk to Sky Lagoon -Quiet area -Never met the staff, but were there, because coffee stocked up -Like the mini fridge in room -To have your room cleaned, you HAVE to add notice to door handle, otherwise staff will not enter for your duration of stay -straight forward to walk into town

Mold on the top right corner of room, not ideal for Asthma. Almost missed it, with curtains in the way.

Lovely location, kitchen is very well stocked for cooking, showers are clean and modern and very nice, beds are super comfy and the curtains are also super effective.

All doors are fire doors (great!) however there was a huge lack of consideration for others re: how loud they slam for the entire week we were there. IE people will let the doors slam loudly instead of gently helping them close at all hours of the morning and night. Due to the closeness of all rooms to one another this is really really disruptive.
