The staff went far and beyond. They helped me with almost everything that I asked for. Very young but absolutely well mannered, friendly and respectful. Rosa and her colleagues made me feel at home. Dinner was amazing. Rosa helped me with the choice of fish and chips and I loved it. ± In the morning, on the 4th, I needed to take my breakfast with me as I was running out of time, so the waitress went and discussed it with the chef and my food was packed for me very neatly. I was absolutely blown away by the quality and taste of the food. Everything tasted fresh. The service by all the staff members that I met was absolutely excellent. Thank you.
The uncouth / uncivilised drunk men who were drinking outside near the entrance of the bar/hotel reception who shouted "and there comes his wife" then started laughing. That experience made me feel very vulnerable and afraid as I was alone in a new town far away from home. I did not report that to the young and absolutely wonderful staff to avoid making things worse.

The rooms were of various sizes and prices and were all clean, comfortable and very quiet. The rain shower was superb and it was lovely to have the option of air conditioning. The breakfast each day was wonderful and very filling and we had a meal on our first night. The menu options were good and the food cooked superbly and of good proportions. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future.
It would have been good to have more plug sockets and larger mirrors in the cheaper rooms for hair styling, make up application etc.

The room was lovely and the sound-proofing was incredible. I never heard a peep from the rooms either side during the whole stay despite the gentleman on one side having a loud deep voice. Breakfast was delicious with locally source bacon and sausages which you could really taste the difference. I ate in the restaurant one night and would highly recommend the food. Very generous portions for the main meal, starter and dessert were a more manageable size. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and it was a good base for exploring south Norfolk. North Norfolk was about an hour away so I did drive home via a stop-off there too.
Some USB charging sockets would have been nice but it wasn't a problem.

Evening as well as breakfast dining was good & the staff went out of their way to provide for my rapeseed allergy via my pre-ordering a dish from the dinner menu. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and everything very clean. Parking was ample with security cameras. Nice quiet neighbourhood in pleasant village and yet handy for main road trasnport.
My only negative was that the rooms are all bungalow/ground floor and mine faced a gravelled public driveway to an overflow pub car park. The noise and pollution from cars passing and people on gravel close to the window meant that I felt I could not open my windows for fresh air or open my curtains for being overlooked. However there was an air conditioning/heating unit in the room so I could have used that with the windows and curtains closed.

The breakfast was really nice with lots of variety, and it was served really quickly. The staff were very nice and friendly. The room was spacious, and the bathrooms was a good size with a nice powerful shower and bath. The bed was comfy with extra pillows and cushions. There was plenty of storage space in the room to pack your belongings away.
There was a lack of cigarette bins for smokers outside. The room was only refreshed once at the beginning of our stay, even though we stayed for several days, so we were left with dirty bins, towels and cups. The water cups weren’t clean on arrival which put us off using them. There was parking to the front and rear to the location, but on one occasion the car park was so full we couldn’t park and had to park the car further away down the road, it would be nice if the rooms had a designated parking space.

Lovely traditional pub with rooms which are outside in what I assume were once stables. Despite the close proximity of the pub our room was very quiet and overlooked a lovely garden. It was very relaxing to enjoy a drink on our own little patio at the end of the day. The room was very comfortable and had everything that you could need. The shower was very roomy and had good pressure. Breakfast was delicious.
The green light on the ceiling which I believe acts as lighting in the event of an emergency made the room as bright as day. Honningham Buck had addressed this though by providing eye masks. It didn't stop us from getting a good night's sleep.

We've stayed here so many times that it speaks for itself. The accommodation is superb, big, clean, comfortable rooms, excellent bathrooms. We've stayed in every room and there isn't a bad one. Breakfast was very good and the restaurant is also very good (although we have recently had a disappointing experience when standards were lower than previously experienced).
There really is nothing apart from value for money. It is now getting a bit expensive for where it is situated, so much so we stayed elsewhere the last time we came to Norfolk. I hope they don't price themselves out of the market.

The staff were very friendly & helpful. Dinner was thoroughly enjoyable, prepared to a very high standard with generous portions. The room was average but with a super comfy bed and breakfast was very nice but unfortunately my eggs were not adequately cooked, the waitress offered to have the chef prepare fresh eggs but we were short on time so couldn't take up the offer.
In part, the decor throughout the property was a little tired and worn. The only dressing table space was taken up with tea & coffee making facilities, so nowhere to place any cosmetics or hair dryer. The toiletries supplied were nice although lacked some basic items such as cotton wool, cotton buds etc. The glass shelf in the bathroom was slightly tilted so anything that was placed on it, simply fell off.....not great with a ceramic sink directly below! Perhaps an additional shelf in the bathroom would overcome the lack of space for guests personal items.

Spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable room with everything we needed for a night's stay, including an extra large bed. Really lovely staff with the added bonus of a very happy singing chef at breakfast, which really cheered us up in the morning. The breakfast food was excellent.
We arrived at 9pm when the bar closes which isn't a complaint but after a long 5 hour journey it would have been good to relax in the bar for an hour but we weren't aware the bar closes so early which would have been good to know so we could plan our evening. However, the lady behind the bar directed us to the local Sainsburys, which is a 10 minute drive away so we could get some food and refreshments.

Room lovely with very comfortable bed, slept well. The food was excellent, we ate here for three nights we stayed and the food was beautiful. Staff friendly and helpful. Not too far from Norwich and lovely and peaceful.
Whilst the room was very comfortable and pleasant, it was a little dark. We had a room facing a building and the entrance to the carpark so had to have the blinds closed due to people walking past and office opposite. They do have other rooms facing the pub garden.
