I have to commend the receptionist on duty when we checked out, Peter, who was a real life-saver, when e left our passports in the in-room safe and only realised when we arrived at Keflavik airport! When I rang the hotel, Peter quickly got the passports and organised a taxi to ferry them to the airport. He then rang me back to let me know the taxi was en-route, which helped put my mind at ease, and the passports arrived well before boarding closed. As for the hotel itself, it's in an ideal location, the lobby, bar and breakfast restaurant are very attractive, and there's a good buffet breakfast with hot and cold options.

The room we had could use a little bit of updating/sprucing up. The room was very hot the first night and being used to rooms with thermostat controls, we didn't realise this was due to a radiator behind the curtains being left on at a very high temperature.

Amazing location, friendly staff and excellent breakfast.

This property is advertised as a four star hotel but it is not. The rooms are tiny, although this is expected for Europe. However, our rooms were dusty and the wooden floor dingy and scratched up. The hairdryer and nightlight were broken. Curtains were hanging off hinges. We notified the hotel staff about the nightlight but nothing was done. Overall, this is a decent hotel, just not 4 stars.

Breakfast: very good, enough, always somebody in the area available, fast cleaning table and refill for what was empty, good service there. Reception: friendly, helpfull, easy to connect with people. Hotel: you have also a good place to drink something, clean, enough space everywhere, good hotel location in centre of Reykjavik.

A very pleasant room with a lovely outlook. Central location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.

The charge for storing one suitcase. In other hotels around the world it was free.

Staff friendly and helpful. Large pleasant room. Centrally located. Good breakfast. It was filled with character.

Sound control between rooms is average. Thought being charged to store a suitcase for 3 days between stays was a bit cheeky.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Reykjavik Centrum. It is in an absolutely wonderful location. We were there for Christmas, so there was a small Christmas market / ice skating rink about 1 minute away from the entrance. It is about a 10 minute walk to get to Laugavegar Street (shopping area) + the rainbow street. Tons of restaurants within walking distance as well. It is also very close to the Bus Stop #1, which is where a lot of tours pick up. The rooms facing the outside street can catch a bit of extra noise on weekend nights, but nothing too crazy. Room and bed were comfortable. Bathroom had all the amenities, but the shower is small! The breakfast is good and they have a lot of options available. I would definitely recommend this location for your stay in Reykjavik!

Small shower in the bathroom, and minimal noise that could be heard from the street on weekend nights. Other than that, we were very happy with our stay and would very much recommend this spot!

Right in the centre of Reykjavik close to all restaurants and attractions. We couldn’t have been closer. It’s around the corner from bus stop 1 which is absolutely ideal. Really nice reception staff who assisted in helping us to plan our trips and gave recommendations . Bed was so comfy and slept really well. Lovely buffet breakfast and a gorgeous cozy bar with happy hour from 1600hrs to 1900hrs. They also will make you sandwiches if you are going on a long tour which is handy.

Shower a tiny bit small but nice all the same. Breakfast could go till 11am every day. It’s 10am every day and 11am on Sundays. It would be nice if you could get simple lunch or even pastries/cakes in bar as drinks are only served and you have to go Into town to get food .

Superb hotel from every aspect. Staff were helpful before the stay with regular contact and support. Nothing presented an issue and they accommodated room request, support with taxi to the hotel from the airport and special requests for an anniversary. Location was perfect for us and easy to get around the entire city from here. Very close to bus stop #1 for excursions and links to BSI terminal. Breakfast plentiful and used the bar in the evening. Staff helped with planning a northern lights excursion when our prebooked provider let us down. Was a result as well with an enjoyable evening. All restaurants and attractions are within walking distance and taxi from airport is around 45mins. Hotel assisted with the booking the taxi and rang us when our room was ready after an early arrival. Rooms were kept clean and fresh during our stay. Visited many of Icelands attractions and Recommend the Lava Show as a great way to spend an hour, very informative and great presentation but is little advertised. Harpa yachts had a very good whale searching trip with a smaller boat and less crowded. Seemed much better than the larger trips and far less crowded. Also added ATV driving to the Blue Lagoon visit to spend a fun hour before relaxing. Trips were well organised and Reykjavík excursions all ran to time with good service on the connection to BSI via the nearby bus stop. Visit the exhibition next to the hotel as well. The hotel is in the oldest part of the city and the exhibition provides history from 872 to modern day. Great stay with lovely people and very impressed with Iceland, thanks to all at the hotel for the service during our trip.

Nothing. Genuinely met the requirement on all aspects.

The location of the hotel is perfect for easy walking around Reykjavik. We easily walked to all of our favorite restaurants. The important tourist interests are all within walking distance of the hotel as well. The rooms had very comfortable beds and comforters. There is ample espresso provided in room. The bar is comfortable and makes tasty cocktails. We had fireworks visible every night from the hotel.

Parking in the city can be expensive. It is important to know the rules ahead of time.

Excellent location with the option to buy breakfast if not included in your rate. The bar for an afternoon or pre-dinner drink a magnificent location

I don’t believe there was anything that dislike me or my group of friends who were traveling to Iceland and stay at the property. Good location , good service and a great atmosphere
