The apartment was a perfect home away from home. Plenty of storage, all necessary appliances, very comfortable warm beds, kitchen with all the necessities, incredible views, great layout, large entry for shedding off outdoor layers without being cramped, outdoor space was excellent, balanced amount of modern furniture and decor to be cozy but not overstuffed or sparse looking or feel outdated. Window treatments were excellent for blocking out light at night or adding privacy. Property has an elevator for easily moving luggage up to the apartment level. The location was the best: right next to the grocery store, short walks to shopping, excellent restaurants, museums, and bus stop 6 for easy pickup to all our tour group activities. Host responded quickly to all questions in a friendly way and communicated to us information that was helpful when needed.

A few small suggestions would be to have a salt and pepper shaker, perhaps replace a few of the damaged small kitchen equipment, some of the teflon coated pans have been significantly scratched up by guests. It may be helpful to American guests to have more instructions for the large kitchen appliances, but we ended up using Google to figure out how to make the burners work on the stove and with some trial and error figured out the oven. They were just new to us and not intuitive.

My family (3 persons) stayed in this apartment for 6 nights. Loved the city centre location of the property which is right beside Kronan supermarket and a few minutes walk away from rainbow street and many restaurants and cafes. The studio apartment was spacious and came equipped with sufficient plates, bowls, cutlery and cooking equipment to make our stay very comfortable. Although this is a self service apartment, the staff was very prompt in responding to my questions on the booking.com platform, which helped greatly in planning my stay in Iceland.

It would be good if the apartment could also provide microwave to heat up food, and hair conditioner.

The Apartma Penthouse is very neat and spacious. The beds are comfortable, the location of the apartment is great - just around the Rainbow street and 15min walk from BSI terminal or 20min from Reykjavik terminal, and the balcony oriented north is superb, allowing to view the northern lights directly from home (if the skies are clear).

Given my past bad experience with a different booking, the payment by link provided in message, was not the most comfortable way of payment, for me.

Fab location next road to rainbow street - reasonably priced supermarket next to apartment - immaculately clean - bright and well equipped- great to have a kettle and toaster - easy self checkin Would stay here again but maybe on the otherside of the building

Room was at the back of the apartment and we were woken up early with the noise of deliveries to the supermarket- lovely big windows but could do with some net curtains or blinds - there is no where to leave your cases for a few hours if you arrive early or when you check out - you need to find a luggage store But fab apartment would recommend staying here

Its location is ideal for wandering around the town centre. It is a 30 second walk to the Main Street. Also there is a small supermarket next door. To park the car we walked less than 5 mins to zone 3 where parking was around £5 for 24hrs. Zone 1 is only 3hrs maximum and expensive.

The property we got was not the one we booked. It was much smaller. But also they have been refitted to a high standard and more modern than the pictures we saw upon booking. Luckily enough we were only 2 people and not 4 and not in it than much for space issues. Also the hot tub is communal which you only find out once booked. Luckily again we didn’t have anyone else use it whilst we were.

The location was absolutely fantastic. It was very close to the conveniences of the main street, yet it was situated on a quiet street. The large supermarket in the same building was incredibly convenient. Very close to the bus stops 3, 6 and 1. The apartment was well-equipped with a variety of kitchenware. The beds were very comfortable and the shower had excellent water pressure.

One of the windows, unfortunately, did not close properly. They kindly sent someone to investigate the issue, but we regret to say that we did not observe any noticeable improvements. Despite this inconvenience with the window, the room fortunately remained warm and comfortable. However, we did experience some noise from the streets during the night.

Beautiful modern and clean apartment with everything we needed. The bed (and sofa bed) were very comfortable with plenty of linen provided. plenty of cutlery and crockery and it looked as if everything was provided for those who may want to cook on their visit. we just snacked. the balcony on our penthouse apartment has a lovely view, and we enjoyed a dip in the hot tub. location couldn’t have been better with a couple of minutes walk to downtown Reykjavik and all she has to offer. Decent Kronan supermarket is on the same building as the apartment - very handy. nice and cozy

Didn’t dislike anything other than having to make up the sofa bed in the living room ourselves. Also, we thought we were having a private hot tub, but it was shared. not that we needed to share, but the short walk along to it in swimwear was a little chilly 🥶🤣

Nice clean apartment, great location.

The washing machine was broken and left our clothes soaked in a pool of dirty water. We had to ring them out and take them in bags to our next location to re-wash there. Also, the hot tub was under maintenance so we couldn't use it. The hosts had good intentions of setting the heat high so it'd be nice and toasty. Unfortunately we were sweltering and could not cool the apartment down even with windows and doors open (props to them for excellent insulation). We called the management company several times and they were responsive and tried to be helpful in all situations. It was just a bit unfortunate that not everything was working well.

This was our second stay in this apartment, last time we booked through a different site. It’s beautifully setup, well equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable :). The host company are great, super responsive and friendly. It’s in such a good location in the heart of Reykjavik, but still very quiet.

No serous issues, one minor point this time the tumble dryer was not there, we were mid part of a long trip so planned to do a few batches of laundry so that was a very small issue. I will also say the entrance door area to the building is not great, it looks shabby and is nothing like the building once you are up on the fourth floor. It is very central though, ideal for Reykjavik

The apartment was a little smaller than I anticipated. It was advertised as a 1 bedroom with a pullout sofa in the living room so I was expecting separate areas. It is in fact a hotel room/studio with all facilities in the same room (kitchen, sofa, dining table and bed). However, this wasn’t a big deal for our family of 4 and there was enough sleeping and eating space. The location is excellent, there is a grocery store right next door and parking (paid) is easy to find. We really enjoyed our stay!

There were only 2 towels in the property when we arrived and a lamp light bulb was burnt out - these things were rectified very quickly by the hosts. It can be a bit noisy at night if you leave the window open.
