The location was decent, situated on the far end of Queen Street but only about a 10-minute walk to the main street and bustling areas. The room was compact for a group of four but manageable. Parking is available, though spaces are limited, so it’s a good idea to reserve in advance or use Wilson Parking just around the corner. One recommendation: Make sure you check the Tikka‘nTalk fast food shop around the corner, they have really good unusual but must try food!!

The biggest disappointment for me was the breakfast—it lacked fresh and healthy options. To be fair, during our travels in New Zealand, we found that this seems to be a common issue, as most of the hotels we stayed at had similarly underwhelming breakfast offerings. That said, it’s something that could definitely be improved.

As soon as we walked in we had a warm greeting, helped us with everything we needed. Room was nice and tidy when we arrived. Beautiful view from the 7th floor. Joint with lone star which was very handy for meals.

When we asked for the room to be cleaned by cleaners (as we were about to leave) they were happy to do so.. once we arrived back.. we were a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The bed wasn’t properly made, it was like how we left it. But..the main problem we had was no rubbish was taken away. So shopping bags/boxes etc that was left next to the bin wasn’t taken. Just made the room look messy. We were just happy that towels were changed.

We stayed for a single night & really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious, comfortable & clean. We also thought it was really quiet, for being on Queent St. We also like the proximity to a range of eateries. We would happily stay here again.

Parking - is a bit awkward when you arrive as you have to park over the footpath until you're let in. I requested a car park at the time I booked & received what I thought was a confirmation email the day before. Upon arrival it appeared that the car park wasn't arranged (I was told I needed to reply to the confirmation email to book the park - there was no request in the email to reply) however, the staff did sort a park for us. The car park was a good price for Auckland.

Breakfast was tasty, would have liked a full kiwi breakfast option or buffet. What we did have was delicious and the staff were very friendly.

We put the 'Clean my room' sign out but we came back and the room hadn't been touched. Ended up going to reception to get clean towels.

Nice room in a good location for my needs. There are also several restaurants and bars nearby. Good breakfast. Good room, clean.

Great overall, the only two remarks to make are 1. that there was a scarcity of bath shower gel and hand soap. They are provided in individual little bags and there were plenty of shampoo and conditioners but few/none shower gels that and the cleaners were not automatically adding them when finished. 2. No possibility to change air in the room, as I had one day smelly shoes and it has hard to change air in the room (windows don't open and there is limited airation)

It was a very Nice, Clean, Comfortable place to stay! "Leroy", the front Office Manager was awesome! We had a group of 8 people and he called around and got us a great Bus Tour with 2 of the Main Attractions we ALL wanted to see! There were a small couple of things that we had to ask for, several times. Plus it has a nice restaurant called "The Lone Star" downstairs. They have Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

It's a smaller, quaint Hotel that's been upgraded to more modern and very cute! Centrally located! They use these "robot's" for food delivery & vacuuming.

Great location with well-appointed, clean and tidy rooms. Check-in was beautifully simple. All our requests were met. We asked for car parking which was made available. As we were arriving on different days for a family event we asked if a car park could be made available before the usual check-in time and this was happily provided. We also requested rooms near to each other and were given rooms right next door. This was above and beyond, thank you. Having a restaurant and bar on site was also a big plus. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay again when in Auckland.

The lighting in the internal bathroom made applying make-up a little tricky. Also, it would have been nice if our coffee/tea supplies had been refreshed before arrival as there were not enough coffee sachets for us both to have caffeinated coffee in the room. Thankfully, there was great coffee downstairs at the restaurant.

Great location and price, room had everything I needed

Throughout the night it was quite loud, both inside and outside noise, and being the first room next to the lift didn’t help

The location was perfect for our needs. Reasonably priced onsite parking - comparable to other cbd hotels we’ve stayed at. We stayed here a few years ago not a lot had changed which is a good thing in some ways shower was still great, our breakfast experience was better however our room wasn’t on the list even though it came with the booking once I showed it via the app there wasn’t too much fuss thankfully. Don’t know if was a a booking.com problem or theirs.

All was good just a little pipe/plumbing noise in the morning.

Location; ease of checking in and out; and, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff, in particular in Reception and House Keeping, couldn't have been more helpful and attentive.

If anything, the carpet? Looked like a tired and cheap knock-off of what I think was supposed to be quaint cobblestoned path with the added ambience of moss colonies growing/meandering alongside the path to the rooms. Harsh on the eyes, and then we wondered whether there were going to be moisture problems in the rooms - thankfully not so.
