The accommodation was clean, spacious, and well equipped. The views were absolutely outstanding. Immediate access to the lake from your chalet. It's the most stunning and peaceful location we've visited. The play area and grounds were lovely, too. We are planning on visiting again next year. But next time, book through their own website.

Living room curtains have a burn hole and a few interior updates needed e.g. curtains, wall hanging in the kitchen, star light not working in the living area. But otherwise, one of the best equipped places we've ever visited.

Our first time visiting and we were glad we came. Staff welcoming when arrived, very happy with our chalet very spacious and clean comfortable beds, love you can sit at table look out at beautiful views definitely spectacular.. Plus, the games room is a great bonus, especially if the weather is not great. we did try out table tennis and air hockey. Also, great selections of dvd to choose for a movie which we did. Would highly recommend this place, very relaxing and peaceful. Thank you

The property was perfect. I should have advised that I had a hip problem and would probably have been given a shower instead of a bath but I coped well. Maybe just needed a non slip mat in shower but got there and it didn’t really affect my stay as it was still just brilliant.

Again I should have mentioned about my hip problems and there was no non slip mat or hand rails in the bathroom but all staff were very accommodating and this would have been given if asked for so it was my problem for not speaking up sooner.

The views from the chalet were gorgeous and the chalet itself was clean and tidy. The chalets are located in a great spot for exploring and Nicks restaurant is a great on site addition! We've already started planning our next trip as we enjoyed it so much.

This is a very very minor issue, but slightly better tea towels - the ones we had didn't seem to dry anything very well which made the plates/cups etc smell funny.

Beautiful, spacious log cabin containing everything we needed for our stay. Best kitchen facilities I’ve come across in self-catered accommodation. Heating worked great and the shower was nice and warm. Views from the cabin were stunning. Really appreciated all the information that was made available regarding activities / places to visit in the local area! Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Thanks for the great stay, recommending to all our family and friends!

Nothing, it was perfect!

The cabin was excellent. It was comfortable and had everything you needed for your stay. Loved the large sliding doors onto the patio, we enjoyed our morning tea looking over the lake. The ducks were a bonus, you can buy duck food from reception to feed them on the lake. We had an excellent meal at Nick,s the restaurant at Lochend, the 10% discount for customers who are staying at Lochend was a bonus.

There is nothing to complain about.

What a wonderful place!! We were in a chalet on the terrace with fantastic views of the lake and Ben Lomond. Exceptionally clean self catering accommodation. Has everything you need. Wi-Fi very fast and stable. Very peaceful and tranquil. All the staff we met were genuine and friendly. (So are the ducks)! A visit to Nicks restaurant is also a must. Cant wait to return 🤩

The bed - it was super comfy, with nice bed linen - but a double is too small for us! We are used to a super king at home. ☺️

The cottage was gorgeous, spacious and right beside Nick Nairn's cookery school/restaurant. We enjoyed 2 really lovely meals there. We took our own kayaks and spent much of our day out on the lake. Family came to visit for the day so we had a bit on fun on the tennis courts, a paddle in the lake and a take away pizza from Nick Nairns. An amazing long weekend.

What a wonderful place that by far exceeded my expectations. We stayed in one of the smaller chalets. We arrived just after check in at 4. The room was well lit, warm and cosy very welcoming. It’s a perfect location on what seems like your very own lake. So peaceful! The chalet was very spacious. Separate areas for the kitchen, dining area and living room. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was big. The beds were very comfy. The chalet is so well equipped they have thought of everything! Soo much storage space loads of drawers, loads of hangers, the kitchen has everything you would possibly need. We hired a row boat for an hour, just us and the fisherman on the lake. They have a games room with table tennis, air hockey, pool and table football. Washer and dryer facilities for charge (very reasonable). We got some handy hints on where to visit too from reception. DVD library to use which was handy on a wet evening. We visited Loch Lomond, Go Ape at Aberfoyle, the Wallace monument in Sterling and the Loop of Fintry. It was fabulous and we will be sure to return as soon as we can. Magical!

I really can’t find anything we didn’t like other than the fact we had to come home :-(

Very comfortable cabin in a great location. Staff were friendly, everything was set up really well with clear and relevant information. Area lovely and plenty to see/visit. We had non stop rain for the majority of the stay and still had a great time.
