We have been travelling around Scotland all week and on our third day we stayed at this wonderful Inn. The staff were such lovely people and couldn't do enough to make your stay memorable. The room we stayed in was a nice size and the bed was so comfortable. Everything from attention to detail was so nice to see. In the evening we had a meal at the restaurant and the food looked and tasted amazing, cooked to perfection and one of the best meals we have had in a long while. Breakfast in the morning was just as good and again the hosting was fantastic. Out of all the places we stayed throughout our trip around Scotland, The Inn in Kippen was our favourite. Thank you for having us and we hope to visit you again in the future.
We have no complaints at all.

Very friendly staff, had lunch and drinks before attending Shania Twain, food was 5star Pub Food, fish and chips were excellent. The room above the inn was well equipped and nice little extras like tunnocks, teacakes, ear plugs, and eye masks on bed. Bed was comfortable, and breakfast was lovely with local butchers haggis and sausage, etc. Great night away 😊 also dressing gowns in rooms, too. Price we paid was less than a night in a premier inn within 30miles of stirling. Around £30 for a taxi back from stirling to kippen.
Nothing, it's a beautiful old inn it will have imperfections, but it's an old building that gives its charm.

Very warm, cosy, comfortable, friendly. If we happen to have an opportunity to stay in the area again, we hope that the Inn at Kippen will have a room available for us.
A little worried about what we might be in for when we first drove up because very familiar with Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott, etc. but after entering and being inside for a few moments, we’re very happy and excited that we chose to spend our first night in Scotland at the Inn at Kippen. If unfamiliar with narrow village roads in Scotland, could be somewhat scary for some. Would not want to drive at night.

Excellent ,varied choice for breakfast, delivered promptly and cooked well. Staff were all very pleasant and attentive, especially to our dog Jax. We had two meals each during our stay (lunch and evening meal )and both were delicious, as was the breakfast. All very reasonably priced. The owner / chef was a very pleasant man constantly asking his patrons if everything was ok. If we were ever in this area again , we would not look elsewhere to stay as the INN at KIPPEN meets all our needs and expectations. Little touches such as an eye mask , slippers and towels and a sewing kit made the stay feel all the more welcoming. Also the 2 swans on the bed (towels) made for a pleasant welcome.
There is nothing not to like about our stay

Staff were welcoming - especially the lady who served us breakfast. Breakfast was lovely- especially the poached eggs! Room was clean Parking is on the road but right by the entrance.
We had a room on the road which was noisy. Plus the walls are thin so we heard every single person who walked passed the room- but they do provide earplugs so must know this is an issue. The bed was two singles pushed together - we booked an extra large double bed room. Service was slow in the restaurant but it was busy in there. Small things like not knowing what a Cuba libre was (it’s on the menu), and forgetting the wine with our steaks. Must add the food was nice though!

I fell in love as soon as I saw the inn from outside, flowers beautiful, town surrounding lovely. Inside the decor was lush, candles on tables making it a cosy welcoming space! Saw a lovely beer garden out the back too! Floral roof in bar eating area beautiful! Breakfast was super! Wee gem found in Scotland, we would come back for sure!
We stayed for a concert in Glasgow so hardly spent any time in the hotel or restaurant! Would love to come back to try food menu and when able to drink (we were driving to concert) in the beer garden!

I loved everything about this place, we will definitely be recommending it and will be coming back. loved the attention to detail that the owners/staff gave! However our favourite was the food-5 star quality!
My husband didn't like the slide door to the bathroom and he said the bed was average,(I liked the bed). I loved the garden however I think it could do with things outside to zap the midgies, as we like to sit outside but we couldn't enjoy it due to all the midgies! We ended coming in.

The Inn was a lovely place and the owner Paul Smith was a great host. The breakfast was of very good quality and plenty of it. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. The room had everything you needed, even down tot he small touches like a Tunnock'c tea cake with the coffee and tea instead of the usual boring biscuit. Would highly recommend.
Nothing. The only reason I gave a 9 instead of a 10 is that the shower was a bit tired. It could do with some fresh grouting.

The most amazing food we had on our week long road trip. This was our last stop before we headed home. Fortunately it's close enough that we'll come back often (we still have lots on the menu to work our way through). Highlights: venison carpaccio and the Tunnocks Tea Cake dessert. Lovely staff, beautiful village. Highlight of our trip.
Not their fault (we were there on New Year's Day) but oil tank ran out so our room was freezing. However the lovely staff got us an extra duvet so we were sorted.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds, with crisp fresh linen. Breakfast had good selection of cold and hot with locally sourced produce and gluten free options. Staff were open and friendly to kids and dogs and went above and beyond to support their guests Travel packs and presentation of the room on arrival was unexpected. Separate entrance enabled us to come and go as we pleased without going through the pub.
Only minor points: Flower pots could be updated or removed from the front as they looked messy and uncared for. Longer visits (over 2 days) would benefit from a small drinks fridge to keep drinks cold. (Breakfast at 9am is difficult if travelling with younger ones) No gluten free sausages available for breakfast
