The location is brilliant between the Duomo and Palazzo Vecchio. The rooms are big.

Breakfast was okay, and I felt I was discriminated because of my skin colour.

LOCATION , ONE BLOCK TO BASILICA ST MARIA DI FIORE AND MAIN ATTRACTIONS. BIG AND QUIET ROOM . ELEVATOR CAN NOT GIVE OPINION ABOUT BREAKFAST CAUSE I DID NOT HAVE TIME TO GET IT BECAUSE OF EARLY TOURS I TOOK . THE GUY WITH GLASSES AND GREY HAIR BOOKED ME A TAXI FOR AN EARLY RIDE I NEED IT TO THE TRAIN STATION , I APPRECIATED THAT .

THE FRONT DESK STAFF DIDN’T MAKE ME FEEL WELCOMED , MAYBE PERSONALITIES BUT AT LEATA A SMILE COULD WORK 😉. I FOUND SOME BLACK LONG HAIRS ON THE FLOOR AND A COUPLE ON MY BED .

Location, location, location! The hotel was in the old part of town. It was a block away from Duomo Cathedral (Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore) and 5 min away from Uffizi Galleries! Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Room was cleaned everyday without asking.

Breakfast and coffee. Breakfast was slightly rough in terms of freshness of breakfast options and breakfast options themselves. Coffee machine was not working properly. If I knew ahead of time I would book the room without breakfast. There are a lot of nearby breakfast options that are not too expensive and serve good breakfast. The hotel room was great but an only thing missing in the room was a small coffee machine which could have been convenient for someone like us who must drink coffee as the start of the day.

Amazing location in Firenze. The staff were pleasant and the room was large and comfortable. Some great breakfast options as well - very handy having breakfast at the hotel. That’s one meal you don’t have to worry about for the day! We would definitely stay here again.

Just a personal preference for a shower that is enclosed - their shower is very large and nice but because of who I am as a person, water went everywhere out of the shower. Also, the elevator is quite small and just fit two people with luggage, but is definitely functional and I’m so glad it was there. Overall, no real problems at all. It’s a great place to stay.

I can’t recommend this place enough!!! The lady at the reception was the cutest and most friendliest person I’ve ever seen in my life. I needed some ice for my sprained ankle and she did her best to find me some. Our room was kind of cold and they offered us some type of heateners. They were sooo helpful and kind. The room was so luxurious that it felt a bit too much since we are only students, travelling on a budget 😅 I’ve stayed in sooo many places and this is definetaly in my top three. The location was great and the breakfast was really rich, high quality and exceptional. I offer my special thanks to the lady at the reception for her friendly attitude. You’re the best 💓If you’re looking for a perfect place, this is it. You shouldn’t miss this place.

Difficult to park

We had an excellent stay here as a family of 3. Perfect location for sightseeing. The room we had was great, bathroom & shower was really good and also had a Tv with Netflix for us to watch with our daughter. Unfortunately on our 2nd night after going out for food our daughter suffered a severe anaphylactic shock reaction as soon as we got back to the hotel. Thankfully the gentleman on reception (Didn’t get his name) rang for an ambulance straight away and it arrived within 10 mins. We’re extremely grateful to him for his prompt reaction as it was a big help in saving her life as she was able to get hospital treatment straight away. We were then able to leave our luggage at the hotel whilst we were in the hospital and collected them the next day without any problems. Highly recommend staying here.

Old hotel very good for its money. It could not be located more centrally. It is right by the Cathedral. All the sights are from 1 min to 20 min away on foot. Standard for an Italian 3 star hotel breakfast (no hot dishes, but there are sliced meats, cheeses, toast, pastry). The window of our room faced the inner courtyard, but this was even better (no noise from the street).

The room is not big, the bathroom is more like a bathroom in a hotel in South East Asia where you can take a shower sitting on the toilet - no shower cabin or a bath tub. But this is better than some small shower cabins in some Italian hotels where you feel like you are taking a shower in the coffin.

Superb location. Unbeatable, I would say, for all the major sites and excellent range of restaurants. Literally round the corner from the Duomo and easy walking distance - even for this oldie - to Uffizzi, Mercator etc. There is a lift, but be aware that it does not service the 4th floor rooms, which are up another two flights of stairs. The staff were exemplary.

Rather limited breakfast, with tinned fruit salad. I had to ask for a duvet as one was not provided in my room.

The location was great, near everything in the historic center. Breakfast was included and had a lot of options to eat including espresso machines. The bed was comfortable, and the room and bathroom were spacious for historic buildings.

Our room was on the street side, so having the window open meant that it was quite noisy. But with the window closed, you couldn't hear anything. Our AC unit had a water leak, but the staff took care of it promptly.
