Very good location in a quiet part of the village. Staff is very helpful. My room was very spacious, and bathroom a good size. There is a fridge with a small freezer. Very comfortable bed. There is a parking and daily transfer to gondola starting at 8.30am (max 8 people for a ride so book early) and pick up to come back to hotel at 4.30pm and 4.45pm. It is around 10-15 minutes walk to the centre of the village. Breakfast starts at 7.30am and there is a very good choice of different things. Dinner starts at 6pm and finishes at 9pm. It was delicious food and very attentive staff. There is storage for your skis and boots. I highly recommend this hotel for skiing or summer stay.

Sauna is not working properly. I went three times and each time it was bearly warm in there. They don't switch it on early enough and it's accessible only for few hours from 4pm until 8pm in which it is not reaching correct temperature. I was really disappointing as I was looking forward to this after each long day of skiing... There is no hairdryer in the bathroom but apparently you can borrow one at reception. There is no regulation of heating in the room and it gets really warm. I had to sleep with open window. Very much against sustainability.

The food was fantastic.

There was no kettle in the room.

Worth it, booking the same place next year as well. It was warm and comfy and our family truly enjoyed our stay there. Yes, you could see the old-age of the place and some renovations are necessary, but that did not negatively impact our stay at all. The breakfast and dinner had a variety of options and all were tasty; the room was warm (everywhere was warm!) and comfy enough. The staff were kind, helpful, and always there if you needed anything. It was clean, things worked as they should; there was plenty of entertainment on each floor (pool table, ping-pong table, and more). The van (shuttle) was on time and helped us reach the slopes. The gem was the scenery on the balcony/terrace: wide open space and the view to the ski slopes, and the water fountains.

Some minor renovations needed here and there, but that was offset by the other positive experience (I wrote in the upper section). Did not bother us at all.

Breakfast delicious, various and dinner with everything you need. Food is nice and also the personnel is very friendly, very quick to help you, communicative and smiling. We also requested a more silent room away from the playground and the hotel took into consideration our request. Room has nice views towards the forest, warm and it was cleaned everyday. The hotel also offers a shuttle bus to the gondola. It's our second visit to this hotel and will surely come back again here in Borovets.

I would also add one more shuttle time earlier in the morning at 8:00 AM since the gondola is very crowded and has a long queue at 8.30. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Breakfast - good , Dinner - good , with some very tasty dishes. I enjoyed it ! The room , good enough . Positive impressions ! The hotel has sauna and table tennis included in the price, so what else should we ask !?

The shower cabin was the biggest disappointment. In fact, which cabin! ? It does not exist! Disinterested suggestion for the hotel administrator: install a suitable shower cabin and not spoil the positive impression about this hotel.

I like very much the service of the hotel, and how welcoming and friendly was the staff. It is a gem - great value for my money at the resort like Borovetz. The location is also very good! Quiet and away from the main street of the resort, yet it is quite close to the lifts. The forest is near and also there is a new ECO path (ask at Reception) along a small stream just three minutes walk from the hotel that can bring you to the resort itself.

Not really

After using many hotels in Borovets and the surrounding area I thought it may be a bit far from ski lifts and gondola, but it wasn't. There is a free shuttle bus running regularly but we happily walked a few times just 5 or 6 minute walk which is fine, as most leave boots and poles in hire depots If not owning your own. Food was very good, nice to see the cook taking pride in her kitchen. I thought I'd try this as the food reviews were good and it was. Helpful bar staff, clean linen on the beds daily. I will use this hotel again. Prices going up as everywhere, hope Borovets doesn't price themselves too close to the cheaper Alps hotels or they may start to lose a few customers as the ski range is dramatically smaller. Having said that the lessons for kids are very competitively priced with equipment and it's a very sociable resort having dozens of bars and restaurants all family friendly at the foot of the mountain. Still holding up. If you know BG and your expectations are realistic, you won't be disappointed with this hotel. I think they are doing a good job and had no complaints.

Decor is a Little dated in places, and shower curtains but Ok in comparison to many similar in the area. Toilet seat was not fixed properly but had we complained I'm sure they would have fixed it. Shower curtain would be better a glass screen

Hotel rooms comfortable but dated, not a problem for us (not in the room much), plenty of storage and somewhere to hang your coat after skiing, other hotels we've been to in borovets didn't have enough storage or anywhere to hang coats to dry out after skiing. Fridge in room worked well, so well in fact it froze our water when we turned it up. Staff very nice and helpful, especially the barman. Breakfast and dinner both good. Group of 12 and everyone found something they liked to eat.

Bit far from the slopes, but hotel had shuttle bus to the slopes with a very nice driver. Outside of the hotel needs work, steps were broken and uneven, the driveway was full of potholes and there were no external lights for when you come back at night.

Hotel is clean and warm. Food is excelent. On walking distance from gondola and centar of the place (about 15min).

Triple room is the same as double that mean very small and its only for sleeping. Room need to be renovated. Walls need to be paint, window can close, shower cab has curtain witch is not a hygine and afther bath all bathroom is in wather. There is no hair dryer.

The hotel has a bit old conditions, but still good enough. The breakfast and dinner options are plenty and nice bulgarian kitchen. It varies everyday with a nice salad bad, cold cuts and even dessert (again plenty options). Sauna is on the 4th floor was also good after long snowboarding course to relax. The hotel personal is helpful and friendly. Cost-benefit-ratio is amazing. There is also safe down at the reception. The free shuttle between the hotel and the gondola was also fine.

Some quality arrangements are required to get fully guest satisfaction. Sauna: sauna perfume, bathrob could be nice. Restaurant: the tea (Ceylon) or juice are poor quality. But beside these small points, everything was fine.
