The staff were very nice and friendly, which made the hotel feel welcoming. The location is great (it is right next to the Latin Bridge and very close to the main street in Sarajevo, which was great. Lots of shops nearby and places to get food. Also, the Bazaar was a 5 min walk from the hotel). The hotel has a lovely yellow colour and can easily be seen from a distance (photo below). The room was lovely, the bathroom was particularly nice with a sort of marble-like look. There was no kettle in the room, but there was a really nice open-kitchen sort of room (2 photos with this review), which had a kettle and equipment you could use to cook your own food (hot plate etc), and a table/chairs area and sofa. This was a super nice touch! Makes it more sustainable for someone wanting to stay for a longer duration (as you can cook your own food etc).

The selection of food at the breakfast was fairly limited, quite basic, but perfectly fine. A bit more of a variety would have been nice. Not having a kettle in the room was made up for by the kettle in the kitchen area!

I chose this hotel for the location, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable, we had a twin because we wanted a room with a balcony which was excellent, looking over the river. The location is ideal for visiting the old town and travelling further, and there are lots of good restaurants around within a few minutes walk. The breakfast was exceptional for a continental, and really good coffee which is always a bonus. I would definitely stay here again. Also there is a taxi stop just a few yards away which is always good.

The location is great, right next to the Latin bridge. It is not a chain hotel so it gives you new emotions. The staff was nice and helpful. Parking is tiny but we always could park there which is really great for this part of Sarajevo. I would go there again despite the few downsides described below.

There were a few things that could be improved. We stayed for 3 nights and our room was never cleaned. Not sure if this is a common practice at this hotel or it happened just to us. Not a big deal but due to that we were out of toilet paper and bathroom amenities. We got everything when we asked for that though. Breakfast was reasonable but could be more diverse. The quantity of vegetables and sausages was very limited, literally a few pieces at a buffet. Possibly they refill that as and when needed but would be more comfortable to avoid asking for a couple of more tomato slices anyway :) notwithstanding the above this hotel is a nice choice, especially if you are tired of chain hotels!

The location is right next to the famous Latin Bridge, which can be seen from the balcony. The hotel is yellow that is also very eye-catching, to the ancient city is very close. The hotel staff were also very friendly and offered to help with luggage.

The free parking is on the gravel next to the hotel, which can be crowded at times. After all, it's free, which is important. Breakfast was served by only one staff, there was no enough food when we arrived, then the staff made more fried eggs.

The hotel's location is just ideal. Baščaršija and the whole city centre is within walking distance. I very much liked the fantastic view from my room's balcony and window to the Latin bridge and to Miljacka. I also very much appreciated the professional yet very friendly attitude of the staff. The room was well equipped (I missed a small desk however) and cosy.

Sound proofing of the room is not perfect and a small desk in the room would be fine.

The Ornament Hotel has exceeded all my expectations. The superb location in the center of Sarajevo is one of the biggest traits that allows one to reach all destinations on foot and very quickly. The free parking slots are especially worthy. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The cleanness is awesome, and the interior is quite new. The breakfast is tasty, and the menu is versatile. The hotel allows one a good stay and rest at a reasonable price. All other features (TV, air-conditioner, refrigerator, and Wi-Fi) are fully functional. I highly recommend this facility!

I was very happy with this accomodation right in the middle of Sarajevo, just steps from the Bascarsija I was greeted warmly at reception. The room (with view to the Latin Bridge) and the bathroom was clean and comfortable. Breakfast (from 08:00 o' clock) was buffet style was plentiful and varied. This was a very nice stay at the hotel.

This hotel is an ideal place to stay in Sareajevo. It is situated in a very central, convenient and beautiful location. The staff is kind, friendly and efficient when you need anything. The room is very comfortable and very clean. There is also convenient free parking for your car if you need it. I will definitely stay there again.

There are no things I did not like, because the place is lovely. Perhaps the breakfast could be improved, but that is a negligible detail.

Great location with terrific views: from the balcony you can see the Latin bridge. Convenient to go anywhere in Sarajevo's old town, and the appearance of the building is beautiful. Although the room is at the riverside, it's quiet at night. Very helpful stuff with excellent english and always online to answer my questions in Booking's message. Delicious food with fresh scrambled egg and fruits and everything you expect in a breakfast. Wonderful scent in the room and clean bathroom.

Lovely little hotel with the best location in the city. Beautiful and clean rooms, breakfast is plentiful enough. We loved Ornament Hotel! ♡ Great value for your money. Highly recommended.

This old house is very narrow, maybe it was impossible to bild an elevator there. It was a bit hard to carry our luggage to the third floor.
