The breakfast is excellent, and the room is very comfortable

Location, perfect. Room very clean. LOVE that there is not a shower inside a bathtub and that there was no mould or anything in the bathroom (which surprisingly we hotel regularly and lots have very unclean bathroom grout).

At breakfast, you could introduce fried eggs, and also omelettes. At the moment it is only scrambled eggs and poached. We acknowledge that you can ask for these items however many customers would like to eat quickly and then leave, without having to ask and wait for it to be made individually.

All staff are friendly and helpful. The location is excellent and it is on the quiet side of Chinatown. The hotel is well-maintained and clean. The breakfast is excellent. The fruit and veggie are very very fresh. It is lovely. Even though my room is just an ordinary twin room, it is quite spacious.

The hotel does not have her own car park. I had to park my car at the basement of 'former' Season's Hotel, where is extremely smelly. Also, the parking fee was jaw-dropping. It costs AUD$40 per night.

Room was so spacious with a lovely view into the city. Chinatown was an incredibly friendly suburb, it felt very safe and clean to walk around. Lovely markets filling the backstreets nearly every day. Surrounding restaurants were incredible. There is a huge courtyard of fancy asian cuisine restaurants in a side street nearly opposite the Forum entrance. Definitely worth booking here. Reception staff were all lovely, going out of their way at every opportunity.

Check-in and check-out and reception always being attentive and gym and breakfast

The fire alarms going off twice in one night - wake us up - and also disruption on the last 2 days with a faulty fire alarm. Also being called in our room around 10pm on our first night, about a car-parking eftpos payment not going through.

Location was great - very close to Paddy's Markets and shops, and not far from Town Hall or Central stations. There were lots of food options close by and the buffet breakfast was plentiful. Updated bathroom was a pleasant surprise and huge bed was very comfortable. Staff went out of their way to accommodate our early check in. Lovely historical building with high ceilings.

The view from our room - a brick wall with barbed wire on the roof, and just a sliver of blue sky (not really what I would call a quiet street view) Am sure the front of the building had better views toward Darling Square.

Centrally located, lots of shops and supermarket nearby. Apart from the China Town, there's a area next to the hotel where lots of restaurants are located so we don't need to worry about the eatery.

Even though room is very spacious and clean and everything is great, my room has a very small window and at night, noise from the outside got into the room. Since it's China town is around the corner, the noise goes on late into the night. I assume that this is not applicable to all the room though.

Friendly staff who kindly upgraded our room to accommodate our family. Lovely room and facilities. Breakfast buffet was very nice, and menu changed daily. Location is fantastic. Will definitely stay here again in the future. (Our room had two separate bedrooms, a living area/kitchenette, and two way bathroom - my photos only show the bedrooms, however living area also had a lounge and small table. Each room had a big TV - 3 TV's in total)

fab location - quiet and comfortable

i had to keep asking for water and attention to detail sometimes lacking - in a weeks stay there the two instant coffee pouches were not refreshed until day 6. Would prefer a pod machine but at least make sure it's topped up . Also face washers were not replaced after one towel refresh and the toilet wasn't cleaned after housekeeping had been (was only doing every other day but would be nice to have it cleaned unless equipment left to enable to do it )

Spacious room with two double beds. Being able to order certain breakfast items cooked freshly (eggs). Helpful staff at reception. Asked on booking for a quick room and this was noted. When checking in we were even moved to a higher floor to make the street noise even less audible.

Would have been good to have a room option with a double bed and two singles, rather than two doubles. For a family of four we needed more towels in the room but they were readily available when requested at reception. The breakfast items needed to be replenished quicker, such as the fruit. Sign in restaurant listed the milks available, with lactose free being one choice; however, there were no jugs of this readily available. Had to ask and then it took a while to arrive.
