Cabin with a unique character and rustic furniture & decoration. We had the unit facing the lake and enjoyed the views at sunrise and sunset. Nice and quiet location within walking distance to the Sigiriya entrance gate. Very friendly and supportive host family!

The unique character comes with an uneven bathroom floor which could become a bit tricky during nighttime. There were several gaps around doors and roof, large enough for insects and small rodents to get in. It didn’t bother us but sensitive guests should be aware.

Lovely place to stay. We booked the wooden cabana and had a beautiful experience. Nevertheless, as you’re in the middle of the jungle you need to consider that there will be fauna around you, also in the room :) The staff was super nice and caring. They were always willing to help and arranged a massage and a safari tour in kaudulla for us. Both at a better price than what we saw in any internet page. The hotel has also a rock from where you can see the sunrise or sunset Summing up: we totally recommend it.

Beautiful room, amazing sunrise spot, helpful and friendly staff! They helped us with getting food and organising travel arrangements to our next destination. Lovely people! couldn’t recommend it enough!

The property is super close to Sigiriya/Lion rock and is definitely walkable (10mins to entrance) no need to get a Tuk Tuk if you want to save some money. There is also a fantastic viewpoint from the back yard where we were able to view the sunset on Sigiriya/Lion rock. This alone is worth every penny of the stay!

The shower didn’t have any heated water working. We didn’t need it during our stay, but it would have been nice to have the option.

A nice comfortable and affordable place to stay in sigiriya. The viewpoint out the back is lovely to go see. The walkable distance to lions rock is also very convenient.

Just be careful about wild elephants if walking to lions rock early in the morning as we found out afterwards the route gets a lot of Elephant traffic. It is also a little further from restaurants than some other places to stay in sigiriya.

We had dinner on arrival which despite being reasonably-priced was absolutely delicious and the portions very generous! There was hot water and the bed was really comfy, and there was a nice terrace with chairs and table.

The wall with the next room was very thin, and the place was a bit out of the way with no stores, and the 'view' was a bit misleading, but because of the great restaurant you don't really need to leave the sight, and it's cheap and near to Sigirya Rock, and I'd stay here again! Thank you!

Having your own sunset/sunrise rock behind the accomodation was the best, awesome views of the famous rocks! Room was huge and absolutely gorgeous with all wood furnishing. Hosts were lovely and always up for helping us with whatever we needed. Would recommend this place!

Not very soundproof but that's alright, wooden huts aren't supposed to be soundproof!

Nice accomodation. The inside of the place is very nice. You have a nice viewpoint if you walk a little bit higher. It is a bit further from the center. I mostly walked, it is about 30 min walk, or only 7 min drive with a tuktuk.

No nets above the bed, they gave it to us after we asked it though. But I would put it standard.

Great accommodation with super friendly personal, who helped us with all our question. And I have to mention that the food there is incredible delicious 😋 for a very good price. You don’t need to waste time 🕰️ on finding places to eat or shop, all the best is present in the accommodation

The owners were super friendly and tried to meet my every wish! I remember to have asked for a beer at dinner and the owner called a Tuk Tuk to bring it 'cause there were any left in the house. The food there was really good, portions were big and the price was very good as well!

I imagined the view over the Lion's Rock to be from the balcony. It is not. You have to walk through the backyard and climb a rock to have that view, but it is certainly worth it! Plus as a tip: ask for a second/third blanket. I was there in February and it gets freezing at night!
