If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. We made this booking last minute and were welcomed warmly. They let us check in early and upgraded the room. The room is lovely! There’s lots of places to put clothes and items, the a/c works well and there’s a ceiling fan, the bed is comfortable and the sheets are fresh, the shower is clean and warm. We had the Sri Lankan breakfast today and it was incredible. The pool area is calm and inviting. Special thank you to Shanta who has provided us with great care since we arrived. We would absolutely recommend Ekho Sigiriya!!!

The room was very nice, comfortable and clean, with air conditioning and fridge. The common spaces were very spacious and calm. Also the location is very good, just 15 minutes by foot to sigiriya rock and full of restaurants near. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, Shante took great care of us helping us with the daily planning, giving us advice about the transportations and places to visit. Breakfast is abundant, with both western and sri lankan options. Fruit and juices and cofee or tea also included. It has also a cool terrace where you can have a drink with a candle light. Very recommendable.

We liked everything. Such a calm place with a nice environment. We had a good relaxing time. Sumedha and Shantha ( two members from the staff) were really helpful. They helped us every possible way to make our stay the best. Food was delicious. Full staff was kind and very caring. The chef was awesome and was available for anything. Very close to Sigiriya. Everything was really good.

No complaints about the staff. The property needs some what upgrades. The bathroom was not the best. Fittings are getting destroyed. The hair dryer was not working properly. But we didn't need a one. It was too hot and my hair dried faster. Just to let the owner know what are the problems with the property.

Loevly hotel with amazing staff and great food. The hotel is beautiful with a nice pool and areas to sit. The rooms was very nice, no bugs, great air con and very clean. it's been one of out favourite hotels to stay in so far. All the staff were lovely but the gentleman who worked reception and served us breakfast was fantastic, so nice, helped us with everything and couldn't of helped us enjoy our stay more. Its also super close to Sigriya rock and the restaurants there.

Everything! Beautiful relaxing and quiet stay. Bed was comfortable and room was very clean. All staff were amazing. It’s very close to Sigiriya rock and ancient city - but you still need a tuk tuk as elephants can be dangerous early in the morning.

Only that their card machine was broken, and the Main Street atm was also not working - so our entire cash reserves were wiped out to pay the account.

Located within an easy walk to Lion Rock and shops and restaurants. The hotel’s reception and restaurant are stunning. The pool was fantastic. Our room although not overly large, was well laid out and very clean. Our bed was comfortable.

Unfortunately our air conditioning system was a little too noisy but I feel that’s nit-picking.

The hotel has a lovely design and pool area. The rooms are cosy and clean. The food is tasty and the staff are very friendly! It is also the perfect location for exploring Sigiriya and climbing Sigiriya Rock.

Staff were very friendly however some seemed inexperienced so there was occasionally some miscommunication. I’m sure this will change over time!

Great location, view of Sigirya Rock, all exactly as advertised. Really attentive staff, who ensured everything was as we wanted.

Pool area fully occupied some days, hot water not always available (common in Sri Lanka I think). None of this spoiled our stay.

The hotel is very clean and newly renovated, nicely refurbished. It was very nice and calm. The room was comfortable, AC and fan functioning super well. Bed is very comfortable. From each room you have a view on the gardens of the hotel. The staff is very competent always at your service, they helped us out with organisation our visits to touristic places everyday. The staff always watched after our meal plans, and always organized our food whether we were leaving early in the morning or arriving late for breakfast. Beer was always fresh. The hotel is perfectly central. You can walk to Sigirîya Lion Rock main entrance in the morning. Thank you for a beautiful stay ! I highly recommend it and I would definitely come back.

Everything was perfect !

A calm, clean, and wonderfully cosy little resort of historical value, with 20 rooms, close to the world heritage site - Sigiriya Rock Fortress. The staff are extremely friendly, polite, and attentive; constantly attempting to ensure guest satisfaction. Food is on a set menu and is absolutely mouthwatering! The bar, too, is quite decent. This little hiding gem truly deserves everyone's attention for all its fabulous services and splendour!! 🌟👏👏🙏
