Great location (subway station almost right outside the front door), lovely staff and a very smart hotel.

The unavoidable $30 per room per night charge for extras such as fancy water, a water bottle and access to some cookies in the afternoons should be optional. We were out every day so were basically charged $30 for a couple of water bottles. A bit cheeky.

The room was the same as the photos on booking dot com. It is spacious, the bathroom was recently renovated. loved this hotel. There’re many nice restaurants around, Korea town is near by. I visited the rooftop and ESB is right there. You can take nice photos, and i hung-out on the sun-beds without having to order drinks, cuz the bar was closed. That was my last night of 10 dayz NY trip. I had really good sleep too. I’ll recommend this hotel to my friends.

There is a building very close to the hotel. We had to make sure to protect our privacy. The water pressure wasn’t good, but not too bad. Our room was on 10th floor, so we didn’t have problems to use elevator, but some times people staying in lower floor couldn’t get in the elevator when busy time.

The hotel is as fine and as described online. The other reviews I read were accurate and still relevant - one elevator does not work (looks like it is permanent) so waits can be long, also there is no way to stock up on water or other supplies. Room is basic and clean, but absolutely no frills, as is the rest of the hotel (lobby, gym), staff was fine too. Generally speaking everything was ok - nothing was great nor terrible. Decent choice in convenient location for tourists.

Hotel can use a face lift, things are slightly worn.

Amazing location in the middle of Manhattan, close to all the major landmarks. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and even made effort to give us a bottle of Champagne on arrival as it was our honeymoon celebration.

The staff were friendly. Our room was very nicely sized. The rooftop bar is lovely.

The elevator situation is the only thing I didn't like about the hotel. Particularly at checkout and happy hour, it can take 5-10 minutes to get on the slowest elevator in NYC.

Use of robes and umbrella was nice; liked the penthouse.

Sometimes the 2nd floor coffee/tea were out of order, and that's the only snack available, so it's important. AC didn't turn down in our room so we had to get someone to turn it off entirely.

Really liked the modern style rooms with wooden floors and comfortable beds.The bathroom was compact but the shower was a good size and the toiletries were very good quality. Modern fridge, safe, and coffee maker in room.The staff were very friendly and helpful. Coffee & tea available all day on 2nd floor. Never had to queue for the elevator. The location was excellent for getting around on foot or the subway. So close to the Empire State and Macys There was a great little street bar nearby called Memory Lane, run by Mimi and Clay who were so lovely and such fun to spend time with. Only downside was that it only opens Wed to Sun evenings.

The room was spacious but just had a small desk and chair. There was enough space for a small table and a couple of chairs which would have made it more comfortable. There was nowhere really to hang damp towels. It was a pity that the restaurant attached to the hotel was closed as was the roof top bar. You could go up to the roof to take photos though.

It was a nice modern hotel in a great location with friendly efficient staff.

Would have preferred my room to be fully serviced everyday. I left a note asking for additional toiletries (replenished) and this didn’t happen.

amazing location, super comfy beds, the best pillows ever. The decor of the hotel is lovely, the staff are really friendly and you are made to feel really welcome.

The only issue was there is no full length mirror in the room, and or a mirror to sit at to do hair or make up. The only one is the mirror at the bathroom sink, but you can’t plug a hairdryer in a bathroom.
