I think a lot of people say they have small rooms but not at all! Breakfast was pretty good had lots of variety, you were also able to have an omelet made for you, lots of fruit and bread. On our first 2-night the tv didn't have any channels that we can watch so we had to get someone to fix it twice by the third time they gave us a different room which had a better view! The location is perfect the empire state building is like 2 blocks away also time square is near and bryant park! Lots of fast-food restaurants and coffee shops around.

For dinner we did get a burger and the meat was pretty burnt, our door key scanner died but they did get that fixed quickly. Also, elevators take forever depending on the time of day (Mostly morning during breakfast).

Perfect location for city tours. It's close to everything. Breakfast is included in room rates and pretty much selections of food. The sofa bed can be extended to a double bed. The shower is good.

The hotel has 39 floors but only 3 elevators! In rush hours we had to wait for ages. Once it took me 15 minutes to get downstairs. We found the room floor dirty (I think they don't clean the floor everyday) and the sofa cushions very dirty. Very few drinks to choose in happy hour.

Excellent location close to Herald Sq. and Macy’s, many stores and restaurants just a few steps away, also convenient for subway trips. Nice breakfast with omelettes made to order. The $25 that is charged daily can be used as credit for sundries and drinks at the bar. Nice and reasonably maintained gym. Room is reasonably sized (for Manhattan), comfortable bed and good shower. Also had a new coffee machine and microwave. Front desk and housekeeping staff very receptive and friendly at all times.

As with similar hotels in the area, three elevators are nowhere near enough for 30+ floors with 5+ rooms per floor. Expect to wait for up to 10-15 min at peak times (especially mornings). Breakfast area is VERY crowded between 8:30-10:00. It doesn’t help that it’s not served at the 1st (ground) floor which makes the morning elevator traffic worse. Stairs don’t help much if you’re staying 20+ floors high.

We are a family of five people so I tend to book Embassy Suites when we travel to the US because they offer a great breakfast service which is free. There is a wide variety of food and the quality is very good. We also loved the snack bar which offered the basic necessities such a bottled water, sandwiches and even otc medications such as tylenol etc. I loved the view from our room. We were on the 28th floor and had a clear view of the Empire State Building. The location of the hotel is excellent.

The rooms are small. Not surprising in NY but still difficult at times to manage with luggage and children. Housekeeping doesn't come unless you request the day before. So there were a few occasions where the bins were full and the coffee/tea amenities were lacking. Calls to reception were often unanswered. The breakfast area is small so at peak times full with few options for seating elsewhere.

Location was great, in the middle on everything. Breakfast was ok, nothing special but enough to get morning started. Fridge and micro were good addition to room.

Floors weren't swiped during daily housekeeping, same trashes wondered around room.

Breakfast was really good if you like bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, fruits and pastry. However, Pancakes and waffles were cold/hard. Loved the evening reception with 2 free drinks and snacks. Was a great break in our day to actually sit, relax and talk with each other. Rooms were clean and friendly staff.

Fortunately we stayed on the seventh floor. We could walk up and down to fourth floor breakfast and evening reception. Elevator waits were long at times. But there were 39 floors. Rooms were small but functional.

On 13 Aug at 18:14 PM EST zone I called 3 times and the front desk was very rude , I called to ask why I Was charged 40$ and no one has the answer rather kept me on hold for 3 times , 4th time on call I said that u kept on hold and not answering my question she hung up on me , The hotel said we can use 30$ credit daily at their restaurant as they charged to us , I stayed for 4 nights and used 110$ as per my receipt however I was charged 40 more and none of your help desk ladies answered or explained but disconnected the call and was rude , this act shows that u guys charged more and had no answer However I have disputed the charge but your front desk needs some telephone etiquette , Pathetic customer service

It was an amazing experience! I arrived on July 24th and I was welcomed by Adam (The Bellman) he immediately took my luggage to put on hold till my check in time. Very cool Guy, made me comfortable and welcomed right of the bat. On check in time, front desk Gentleman, Luis welcomed me and my family. He went through the checkin process explaining everything very smoothly. During my stay, I had breakfast on the 4th floor. Kevin made sure to have the area cleaned and ready very fast. Friday 28th, my check out time came and once again, Adam helped me through the process with Luis. Luis completed the process and Adam set me up for an airport ride. I was able to find Kevin (from the breakfast area) near the elevator and we had a quick chat. We were very pleased with his service. Once again; Adam, Luis and Kevin, keep it up guys. View from 22nd floor balcony was stunning. Empire State Building in all its glory. The Staff was very friendly, I enjoyed my stay a lot. The bar is small but serves really good cocktails, and again, the staff are really really attentive and genuinely nice.

Breakfast room is really very crowded, as mentioned by others, the elevators are sometimes trying your patience. The breakfast as such is OK, but nothing to write home about. The room could be a tad bigger, getting in and out of bed doesn't really require acrobacy yet but comes close to that. But that is complaining on a high level.

Embassy Suites in the Heart of New York. The Concierge, Adam & Dinu, and the Reception staff were very efficient, exceptionally helpful, and friendly, as were the staff in the Breakfast Room. Cleaning staff ensured a clean, comfortable room with fresh linen, as needed.

The Heist Bar and dining area have great potential. However, the menu is limited, & salads are sometimes presented heavily laden with Caesar dressing. Service is slow. Some waiters were inexperienced, resulting in communication issues between staff, & diminishing the dining experience for guests.
