The staff was always polite and helpful and the room was clean. It was easy to commute to and from the hotel since it was close to the trains and city attractions. We also got help with our bags between check-out time and our bus schedule, which was a big plus.

The room was smaller than expected. Breakfast wasn't included and there were no fridge or microwave in the room. We were ok with it but it might be a big deal for others.

The room was small but comfortable, clean, and quiet. It was well located for my purposes, convenient to Grand Central Terminal. The bed was very comfortable. Everything needed was provided including good Wi-Fi and toiletries. The price was very good for NY even in off-season. I would stay again.

The property was great. The problem was with Booking.com. I'll relay my complaint here because they would not respond to my complaint on their "customer service" page. Booking.com offered a taxi from the airport to the hotel. I arrived: No driver. I called the service number (in Spain!), but no answer. Then I reached Booking.com's contractor in NYC. They said the driver was running later; then a driver (photos attached) arrived but didn't know where she was supposed to take me and then refused to take me to the address I provided. I took a NYC cab. Absolutely terrible service from Booking.com. Don't depend on them for anything other than a reservation...if that.

Fantastic Location, and an unbeatable price. Within 10 mins walking distance of Times Square, the empire state building, and many shopping centers. Very central, modern/updated, and SPOTLESS hotel room. There was attention to detail in the folding of the towels and prep of the room by the housekeepers. Highly impressed!

The heating in our room did not work, however, we called the staff and they supplied us with an electrical plug-in heater! Breakfast isn't included and there is no fridge or microwave in the king room we stayed inside (not a problem for us but maybe for others).

TV was a bit laggy (perhaps because it was direct TV), and sink was clogged. Really no big deal though compared to everything else. I was satisfied despite those things.

The location is outstanding, right besides the empire state, a major underground station and a cosy bagel shop... The staff were extremely friendly and helpful at all times, including the jetlagged early nighthours of the day. The hotel has great curtains, which is important to get some good sleep when jetlagged and the days are long.

The facilities were minimalistic in terms of offering a lounge where you can hang out and maybe buy food. However, a.) that had been clearly communicated, and b.) coffee was served around the clock and they made great use of the little space they had.

Staff were friendly! The hotel itself was basic but didn’t need much more for for a night in New York. The hotel is very central so handy for everything while you’re there. I wouldn’t say it’s the nicest areas to walk around at night although still not bad. There’s free tea, coffee and water in the hotel lobby which is a lovely touch. The hotel was very quiet despite being so central which made for a good nights sleep.

The front of the hotel could use a little love, as you walk in you can see curtains on the first floor are splattered with something which is a little off putting when you first walk into a hotel. The rooms are very dated with peeling plaster and a little bit dark.

The location is awesome, you can walk through most of the NY city points or take the subway to go further away. Our room was excellent too, with direct view to empire state building. The room was clean and comfortable, with a coffee machine, an excellent TV, good WiFi signal and a comfortable bed.

Nice rooms, very comfortable big beds, complimentary breakfast on the first morning , close to times square and 34th St subway where we could get all over Manhatten and beyond

Shame the bar area was closed and vending machine out of order, also asked one night for towels to be changed and when we got back the following today these hadn't been changed, but literally 5 minutes after going to reception we had clean towels brought to the room
