Location is amazing, room is comfortable but small like other NY hotels.

Paying amenities fee of 35usd per night that were not included in the booking, front desk said it became mandatory at every NY hotel…so you are forced to use the minibar, laundry and calls to use that ammount but limited to 25usd. A bottle of water in the room costs 12usd. This fee can’t be used for breakfast which is by the way expensive, 96usd for a couple including taxes and service and doesn’t even have an egg station where you can customize your eggs or omelette is a shame on a Intercontinental hotel.

The check out process was bad experience with the front desk lady she was very tuff with me and tried to add tax to the final account which not fair as the cost of the rooms paid fully through booking .com she insist to I have to pay this situation not solved unless the front desk manager interfere and allow me not to pay the tax ????

Location and covenant parking across the street .

No fridge and microwaves in room, they offer laundry service but facilize are not on property to dry jackets after being soaked. Which they sent up extra hair dryer which blew power in the room took 3 phone calls and texting Christian an hr later to be fixed. Not to use booking dot com as it said we had view of parade from our room not true. We still had a great time going to the shows, parade was still fantastic just very wet. Everyone was very pleasant except the women who brough towels to our room, she forced her way in to grab trash and use the phone, after I said NO several times. my daughter was trying to nap from being soaked and cold at parade.

Times Square isn’t the best - but the stay was out of necessity / availability

We loved our stay. The location is awesome and it's right next to the subway station. There are direct subway lines to downtown (9-11 museum, etc.) and uptown (central park). I also loved the location because it's one block to Times Square so it's easy to walk there but without as much noise at night. The other thing I loved about this hotel is that the room is actually big for New York. We had two queen beds which was helpful. Hotel staff also nice. Restaurant food was yummy as well. It's very close to all of the theaters too. We also went to Birdland (Jazz Club) that is across the street and had a great time. I would stay here again.

Shower water pressure could have been better.

This is my second stay at the intercontinental Hotel Times Square and it’s mainly due to its location. It was a very pleasant stay, the room was spacious and clean, all the hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, from the check in staff, the cleaning team, to the servers at the restaurant. I was going on a multi country trip and stayed with 3 other hotels before making my last stop at NYC. Despite this being a 4 star hotel, I had a better service than the other 5 star hotels I stayed in during my trip. Many hotels witnessed a bit of deterioration when compared to their pre-Covid services but I was thoroughly impressed with the improvements and upgrades made to the intercontinental hotel. That being said, the breakfast could use a bit of an upgrade to as I recall more varieties being offered during my first stay and this time around it was more repetitive.

Wonderful hotel! Clean, exceptionally friendly staff, knowledgeable and helpful. The location is perfect to Times Square and Rock Center! Also check in is at 3 but our ride arrived a couple hours early and they were very accommodating. Asnae cleaned and restocked the room to perfection every day. And the two times we had room service, Rich M came up promptly and asked if he could enter to set the tray down, something I appreciated as I was traveling as a single woman with her daughter. Definitely will stay there again!

Nothing. Compared to the knickerbocker this place is a Palace!!

It’s easy, right in the middle of everything. A well known brand that is known for luxury and the price can often be amazing so I always look here first to see what kind of deal booking.com might be having. When I travel I want/need easy. Easy access to restaurants, room service for the occasional luxury, for everything to work, a nice staff and a welcoming atmosphere. It has that and more. So if you get lucky enough to get on the site when they are offering deals - take it. So worth it ! Will be back !

Great location. Close proximity to the theater where we were seeing a play. Staff was efficient and friendly at check in and check out. Beautifully decorated lobby. The entire hotel was so clean it impressed a clean freak like me! Bathroom was spotless and well maintained. The restaurant was excellent! Short rib sliders-wow! Breakfast was generous with multiple choices for any dietary need. The beds were very comfortable. We appreciated the security features in place for utilizing the elevators to access the rooms. Would certainly stay there again!

Although the hotel was quiet, there was a fair amount of street noise. Noise is to be expected in this busy part of the city. This did not impact our ability to sleep.
