Location great. Clean

Staff poor. Not up front about taxes and fees. Booking.com sent an email to say fees were included in fee. This was not the case. Told us we needed to pay €400 security deposit which was to be refunded. It wasn't.

I liked the view on 39th floor the bath water was exceptionally hot !' The Bellhop held our bags and was friendly and knowledgeable about the area and where to eat. The front desk helped make an excellent reservation for our valentines dinner on our way to MSG

We could not check in early not a big deal When we did check in I was given a room card and told I was all set. no schpeal or offering to guide me, tourists, of the lay of the land. for example, when and where was breakfast, was it included??? if we wanted a spa date, or basically upselling me on the amenities of the hotel? To my understanding, there is a restaurant/ bar in the lobby and rooms upstairs no pool spa or anything else.????

Location is perfect! Staff was very helpful. Our initial room bed (not the one we booked) was not so good but the correct one was great. Having a small fridge in the room helps to cut on expenses as you can buy snacks and other food from Target store just across the street. There are subway stations just a really short walk from the hotel, and Times Square is just a block away.

The hotel was sold out when we arrived and we didn't have the room we had requested. However, the staff did fix that and we were moved to the proper room on the next day - so please don't take this as a negative point. At check-in we were asked for an extra $35/night resort fee but after we explained it was already paid for with Booking.com, they cleared it out - so again, no negative point, as long as you talk to the staff and prove you're correct. There is a $5/bag charge if you leave your luggage for some extra hours after checking out. This is the first time I was charged for that. We just had 2 bags, so no big deal, but be aware of that.

Location was where I wanted to be. Check-in easy with friendly staff. The room was visually appealing. Breakfast options were available. Friendly, helpful staff at check out for skipping lineup ( lined up to see tally with breakfast add on). Hopefully the reward program I was encouraged to joined (for "free" breakfast incentive) is worth having. Elevators fast and clean.

Street entrance had zero signage to locate hotel several floors up, and staff member was away from desk. Some parts of the place show signs of age. Room smelled odd (musty? unclean?). Adjoining room clearly had active smokers and phone in room was useless to contact front desk. Misleading signage at self-service breakfast area led to me being billed for a more expensive meal. Hostess didn't welcome and/or explain breakfast room, and coffee server didn't make an appearance for 15 minutes. Overly generous tip was automatically added to self-serve meal that saw me receive one visit from server...coffee top ups non existent. Still haven't seen a final credit card bill/receipt for room, with aforementioned breakfast added and I checked out 4 days ago.

I loved how close it was to Times Square yet it wasn’t loud nor could you hear the street noise. I have to give a huge shoutout to Raquel at check in. She was truly amazing and worked hard to get our two rooms as close as possible to each other. She was so patient and kind and worked so hard to help us out! That’s amazing customer service!

Charging to hold your bags after check out. We paid $3k to stay 3 nights for 2 rooms to then charge us $5 per bag to store after our check out is ridiculous. We paid to stay at your property and that should be part of the amenities the hotel provides.

The location was excellent for access to the theater and restaurants.

The hotel added a "destination fee" of $35/day, Surprise! The maid that "cleaned" the room the first day did not do a good job. The mirror was dirty before she came and was still dirty when she left. The bathroom shower stall had some dirt on the wall and was still there when she left. It appeared she did nothing but make the bed. The subsequent maids did a fine job! I know it is NYC, but the full breakfast was $45/person and the continental breakfast was $29/person.

The front desk staff at checkout were very direct at checkout, in a rush to process transactions and charges without taking the time to double check things with their coworkers. Charged an additional fee without realising that it had already been paid they did refund the amount however it hasn't shown up on the credit card used for the transaction.
