Good location with a bus to the city centre every 15-20 minutes. Car parking available on the premises for a fee but we used a free parking located just a 5 min walk away on a nearby street. Clean and modern facilities, shared kitchen is well-equipped with a comfortable dining and lounge area.

The bed could have been a bit larger to comfortably accommodate two adults. The dishwasher wasn’t emptied for several days, despite being told that someone was in charge of it. It would have also been nice to have a water fountain in the kitchen area rather than only at the reception, which was located in a separate building.

Westwood Accommodation in Galway was great! It took us back to our college days! But our dorms were nowhere as accommodating as Westwood! We would have loved to live in dorms like these in the 1970’s! The building common areas on the first floor looked inviting. But it was more convenient to use the common areas on our floor: kitchen, dining table, tv Room for 2 Availability?. There were few folks on our floor, so we had these to ourselves. Westwood relies on the honor system for use of the fridge. No one drank our Guinness!

Would have loved to be in the city center, but the availability of a bus on both cross streets mitigated that!

Very happy with my 2 night stay. Excellent kitchen facilities and fully equipped with cups, plates etc. There is a games room and cinema which I did not use but hopefully will use the next time. Also a regular enough bus service around the corner from the accommodation which took about 15-20 mins into Galway and stops at Eyre Square so very central

The fan in the bathroom was very loud and stayed on for ages after leaving the bathroom which kept me awake. Also the safety blind (not sure what it’s called) on the outside of the window was quite loud but there was really bad wind so on the normal night that probably wouldn’t be the case

Brand new building and facilities located 2km away from city centre but well connected with a bus. The parking on site is payable but there’s a free parking lot at just 3 mins walk. Rooms are quite small but they’re fine if you’re only staying a couple of nights. Shared kitchen on each floor for up to 7 rooms on the same corridor. There’s a useful tiny grocery shop just outside the building which closes at 10pm. You can use the gaming, lounge and cinema room for free.

Rooms are quite small and the bed is tight for 2 people and only accessible by one side, so not recommended for people with mobility issues. No toiletries provided except for 1 tiny soap, and no hairdryer. Very few utensiles provided in the kitchens, not enough for people from separate rooms to cook at the same time.

Its very clean and cozy. Room was set to 22 degrees, was great- at times- when its cold. Very close to the bus stop, very handy. The price was convenient. Has some great facilities advertised. (I personally was unable to use them tbh). The location was peaceful and quiet considering it was an apt.

It would be helpful for at least a kettle in the apt. There would be a common kitchen I suppose. But it would have been outside of the room (small inconvenience, not that of a big deal). Sometimes the water supply in the shower- was short supply/ pressure ? I kind of took a longer shower- than usual. Other wise great overall accomodation.

Just 10 minutes from coach station. Very clean, new looking & living room with TV seating, kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, oven and stove. Laundry by circuit just under €7 for a decent load to wash and dry. 24 hrs reception with a very helpful team. Just a 3 minute walk to bus stop around the corner for a 20 minute ride to Eyre square, a little further to Latin square (or 10 minutes taxi). Vibrant night life and great food! There’s a Spar convenient store in the premises for coffee groceries, pastries and cold food. There’s also a PlayStation room, gaming room, vending machine with snacks soft drinks, water & cinema room on ground floor though we did not use these facilities. A reminder for future guests to bring own drinking water, soap / shower gel, tea & coffee as this is not provided. Towels are provided and tea / coffee facilities in kitchen. This is of course made clear so not an issue at all.

No issues during our stay, all went great

Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Lots of storage for clothes. Shower worked well and there was space to put shampoo/conditioner. Room was very bright and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you might need. Spar next door is very handy.

The fan stayed on for a long time after the bathroom light has gone off. Shelves above head of the bed has a sharp corner that could do with having something put over it, my partner hit his head getting up in the morning. Reception has a hairdryer but it would be handy to have one in the room. Not much parking, but you can leave your car in the city and walk to the hotel if necessary.

Friendly staff at the reception. Clean and modern facilities. There's a grocery store within the building. The bus stop is just around the corner and the bus will take you to Galway city center in no time. There's limited parking within the building and it costs €7 per day, however there's also a bigger, free parking space available a short 5 minutes walk away (we used it when the private parking within the building was full).

The bus to Galway city center is not the most frequent or reliable. Also, if you are planning to stay out in the center until late, be mindful that the bus stops operating at some point. We had to take a cab a couple of times, but it was cheap so no big deal. All in all, reaching the city center was actually easier and quicker than we expected.

Great accommodation, quite affordable for Galway prices. Very pleasant room, basic but clean, with huge floor to ceiling window so very bright. Big, clean bathroom with great shower. Complex is right next to the bus stop, bus runs every 30 mins so you can be in a city center in no time at all. Very pleasant staff. We were told there's a gym free to use as well as common area with kitchen but we haven't used it so can't comment here.

Parking a little bit expensive and limited in places. However once you find a parking spot you can leave the car and use a bus to get to the city center, so no big deal.

The only thing I didn't like was the guest policy. It makes it hard to enjoy a place that you pay a full room price for, but then they don't allow guests. For example, they ask for any guest details before booking, but before you go on holiday, you don't know if you're bringing a guest or not. It's something I think the owner needs to relax about and remember that people are on holiday and don't want to feel restricted in the accommodation that they pay for.
