The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great. The bed was comfortable. The heat worked well.

We booked a room with a kitchen but were given one without. When I inquired, they said there had been a maintenance problem with the room we should have had. Problems happen, but it would have been nice if they had informed us and given us a partial refund before I asked. When I did inquire, they promised to pursue a refund, so I'm waiting to see what happens. I also had to ask for linens for the pull-out bed.

location and the first hotel I’ve had in New York that the A/C actually worked

the view. we booked a room with a balcony in hopes of a decent view. not the case just a view of what looked like a dungeon and pigeon crap.

Location is great.

They charged $28.50 per night, per room (“room fee”) even though Booking.com says the rate includes all taxes and fees. The rooms were really warm and there was no good ventilation option except to open the window in January! We left our luggage on our departure day—a service offered by almost any hotel. They were rather gruff about us requesting the service and when we returned to collect it the storage area was unlocked and unattended. Anyone could have come and taken our bags!

One of the staff member who came to show how futon bed works was very nice and accommodating. He made the stay well worth it.

The location was perfect, it was so central and we could actually see the Empire State building from our room! The room was actually really spacious as well, we were expecting a very small room and we were so pleasantly surprised. The bathroom was very nice, the bed very big and soft, and it was nice having a small kitchen. The employees working at the hotel were nice as well.

We couldn’t control the heating/cooling system manually. But that wasn’t really a problem, we just opened the window if we felt like a little cool air. They told us that in the summer the airconditioning is always working.

Location was super convenient in Midtown Manhattan. Clean and modern apartment, comfortable queen bed and sofa bed was decent. Had a nice balcony and good view. Soundproofing is good too

Water bottles per person included per day but have to request and pick these up yourself from reception. A prankster pulled the fire alarm twice in the same morning, and they weren't able to identify and stop the person

Staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly. Location is central and close to good breakfast. Room and bed are comfortable. Balcony is a nice touch.

Reading lights above the bed are a nice idea but the bulbs are too bright, or aimed improperly, they hurt the eyes. Had to use the bathroom light as a lamp in the evenings.

The reception desk was busy every time I called, room 804. I reported that the floor of the shower was moving / soft underfoot, room 804. It maybe rotting out. The guy on the reception didn't seem to be concerned or appreciate the information, but may have noted it down. I couldn't tell due to his lack of interest.

The fact that the reception desk was always busy when I called. But yet when ever I was in the reception the person on duty was never on the phone. A colleague staying at the hotel said he had no problems contacting reception when he called. Which leads me to believe there's a problem with the phone in room 804.

The staff were always helpful and friendly, ready to accommodate any needs I had. When I first got there I wanted to switch to a street view room and within a couple of days I got an upgrade to a larger street view room. I was also helped with my bags both upon arrival and departure. The hotel is also extremely close to Koreatown which was great for getting food or boba throughout the day. It’s close to a bunch of good restaurants in general, as well as places with good breakfast options, and a laundromat which was helpful for me.

A microwave would’ve been nice, and I was staying here temporarily while attending school and would want to be in bed by 12, but I’d hear a lot of noise - I guess from neighbors in other rooms - around 11 pm.
