The roof top outdoor pool was lovely and even warm in the snow. Enjoyed Happy Hour in the rooftop bar. Rooms were spacious.

The pull out sofa bed was old and sank in the middle, would be OK for one person - but we had to use is for 2 which was uncomfortable. The shower door leaked everywhere. The prices in the bar we high when not in happy hour - $12 for a basket of fries, a standard bottle of wine $72 (we pay £8 in the UK for the exact same one).

Room was spacious, bed extremely comfortable and bath tub in bathroom simply fabulous. Staff were friendly, location fine, heated pool on roof a bonus.

Room service needs serious attention - used a couple of times and food arrived luke warm at best, burger was laughably small and "crunchy" (ugh) and chicken wrap was almost inedible. And why don't they have Coke Zero?? Suggest you simply eat out - skip the French Bistro on the other side of Ave...very ordinary...

Wonderful place to stay, highly recommend. Comfy and nice sized rooms. Pleasant front desk staff. Great location. Clean. Beautiful rooftop pool and the upstairs bar is comfortable and relaxing- appreciate that guests are allowed to sit up there and enjoy. Would be a 10 if not for the below issues.

No soundproofing. You can hear everything in adjacent rooms. Also the doors slam shut and most people aren't courteous enough to think to shut door quietly. Maybe the hotel can change that (the slamming or the common courtesies :)) Also one very unpleasant incident with the person who delivered ice from the upstairs bar.

We upgraded to a larger room & it was the best decision. Obviously it cost slightly more but we got an extra 200 sq. ft. of living space. This room had a balcony that overlooked Park Avenue & the space we had made the stay that much more enjoyable. In addition, there is a Starbuck's across the street, an amazing bagel shop across from that, a Walgreen's down the block for incidentals & best of all, one block down is subway access. This is a great central location for exploring the city. The rooftop bar is also very nice.

It was a really nice hotel located on 29th street, walkable distance from center and having also subway stop around the corner. Room was nice and spaceful, and we especially liked the rooftop views and the pool.

Pool area limited to guests above 21y only starting from 4pm. It was a pity for my 15y-o daughter.

Park Royalton is very well-located. The subway station is literally across the street. There is a Starbucks, McDonalds and other restaurants at walking distance. The room was well-cleaned. Water pressure in the shower is strong. The hot water comes out in seconds.

They didn't have even one bottle of water for free. We rented a suite. And there is no free water ever. No free coffee, too. The other hotels in NYC who charge a resort fee of USD40.00 have free coffee and bread in the mornings. I asked the front desk what was the resort fee for? He said it was for cleaning the room. I didn't reply anymore but inside I thought isn't cleaning the room part of the nightly room rate?

Good position, not in the very middle of the Christmas craziness and with a 6 subway station at one block. Staff is friendly and reasonably efficient, the hotel is nice although not new, the roof top and pool seem very nice although we didn't use them in the winter season. For the price they charged compared to other hotels in the same period, it was good value

All the staff were very warm and helpful, right from check-in to check-out. The room was nice and large, and very well-equipped, and came with a little balcony with great views. The lounge/ restaurant at the rooftop is also great. Great service all in all. In all, we were very comfortable during our eight-day stay.

The team were very friendly and helpful and gave us an upgrade for one of the rooms upon check in. The rooms were really cleaned and well attended to each day.

Great location, spacious room and great staff.

I didn't like that when i wanted to use the pool there wasn't enough sitting sun chairs for all the guests.
