The hotel was beautiful, very festive, modern, unique in its decor. Really impressed. Room was big enough, beds super comfy and cosy room. We asked for a quiet room, this was provided, had the usual chatter from passing guests in the corridors but didnt affect our stay

Parking...lots of reviews about parking. They do give you a discount code for parking around a 29 minute walk away from the hotel. Not good if alone or with children at night - in winter from 4pm I wouldnt feel safe walking back from the carpark in the dark. We chose the NCP across the road £28 for 7 - 24 hrs parking. Worth factoring in this cost when choosing your hotel

Staff at reception were very welcoming, check in was quick. The rooms were of a good size with comfortable beds and a hot shower. Communal areas were clean and tidy Location of the hotel was very good easily assessing to local transport and surrounding areas

The room few marks on the walls which appeared be water marks No bottled water in the bedroom on arrival The tea and coffee tray quite small and nothing exciting The hand soap and body wash very basic nothing exciting no scent. The restaurant food was lovely just didn't feel very welcoming and staff unapproachable at the restaurant felt this let it down especially as it's the same price too go eat out of the restaurant but due to the bad storm that weekend we decided to eat in on the Saturday.

the hotel was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly

Parking was an issue, i had to park over the road a NCP car park that cost £30 for one night, i am having issues paying for the parking on the NCP app as the signs stated i could pay on the app up to 24 hours after departure, i downloaded the app and have tried to pay since i left home yesterday and the app is stating there is no record of my stay, i am worried i will receive a excessive parking charge, this has worried me and unless resolved would put me off staying in the future i have contacted NCP but i am awaiting a response.

Nice hotel, rooms clean and comfortable and a good location.

When checking in was told that breakfast was only served until 10am, so decided not to take it as we were going to be out late celebrating a birthday the night before. In the morning we were told that breakfast was served until 11am! That hour would have made all the difference, so had to go for a walk to find a later breakfast. Also upon checking out was told that the room payment was outstanding, although I had pre paid through Booking.com. I had to produce my bank statement to prove payment, so a flaw in the system there. Shame, as it would have been a score of 10.

Problem with a toilet resolved fairly quickly with a swap to a room with accessibility features, unlike the one we booked, but more convenient for us. Night porter (gentleman with glasses, husband didn't catch his name!) was very friendly and attentive to my husband who was using crutches, and was able to assist with ordering and delivering food to the room while I was at a work event. He had a very friendly and professional attitude, and nothing was too much trouble.

Had to change rooms due to toilet flushing problem, and there was some miscommunication with the two staff on duty as to who was serving us, leading to us explaining twice that our toilet was blocked. It was somewhat embarrassing.

the location was good but most other things I cannot say the same for. I could have forgiven most this but the food was just awful.

I was feeling a bit down one day and I know room service can be expensive. I was OK with paying a bit more for OK food. but what they brought was purely a disaster. I would have been ashamed to bring that up to the room and charge money for it!!! we asked for 2 tomato soups and a cheese and tomato sanwich with 2 bottles of water. ended up paying 41 quid for 5 spoons of redish water and half stale funny tasting slice of cheese sandwich.

My friends and I arrived at the hotel around noon and planned to leave our bags there first. However, the staff who worked there, I don't know her name but she was very nice. She said she would check if there were any rooms available at that time. If there were, she would let us check in right away, which impressed me a lot because most of the hotels, they would make us wait until the check-in time or pay extra to check in early. I would like to thank her very much for making our trip easier. But it wasn't just the reception who took good care of us. Every staff member I passed by was smiling and providing good services. The room is clean. I like that they have an iron. There are a lot of tea and coffee to use. The warm bed is comfortable to sleep on. There are two pillows for each person (there are three of us sleeping). The location is convenient, not far from shopping, restaurants or pubs. The hotel is quiet. You can't hear people in the next room or any walking sounds. Overall, I like it very much, especially the staff. The service is very good.

The light in the room is a bit dark, making it difficult to put on makeup.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us as we were attending a music concert not far from the hotel. Upon arriving we were greeted by friendly staff who were very helpful allowing us to leave our bags securely locked up until we could check in at 3pm, as We arrived earlier at 1pm. We went shopping around Manchester, grabbed a bite to eat etc. we arrived back at the hotel around 4.30pm, and collected our bags and checked in. Our room was lovely and clean, it was nice and warm as well as the weather had dropped very cold outside. There were toiletries in the bathroom for us to use, so we didn't really need to take our own, lots of hot water available. Tea, coffee making facilities in our room and also a Nespresso coffee machine with a small variety of coffee pods available to use. The bed...oh my goodness, it was extremely comfortable, and much bigger than a normal king sized bed. Comfortable pillows as well, myself and my husband had a great night's sleep. What we also liked at the hotel was that we didn't have to check out untill 11am the next morning. That was great as we didn't feel rushed upon waking, as normally most hotels have a 10am checkout. Overall we would definitely recommend this hotel . When we visit Manchester again, we will book again.

Room was small but nice and clean, had everything I needed.

The air con and heating controls had an error flashing on the screen. Googled it and it indicates no gas in the aircon. I didn’t need the air con but I did want the heating on which was disabled from the error, so it was cold in the room all night. I had been out so didn’t discover this until trying to heat the room up at 2am. Probably could have ask the front desk but all they could have done would be swap me into another room and at that time in the morning I didn’t want to pack everything up and move.

I had an absolutely perfect stay! My friend and I attended a concert at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall to see Il Divo, and they were breathtaking—truly world-class! The hotel’s location couldn’t have been better; it’s directly opposite the back of Bridgewater Hall and less than a one-minute walk to the entrance, which was incredibly convenient after the show. The entire staff went above and beyond to make our visit exceptional. The hotel was spotless, with every detail carefully attended to. A special thank you to Adiago, the night staff, who was absolutely brilliant. My friend and I were rather hungry after the show, and he made sure we were well taken care of. And Letitia was amazing, going the extra mile by coming outside to point us to the bus stop and guide us toward the city center. Her kindness and dedication truly stood out. Thank you to the whole team for an unforgettable experience—I’ll definitely be back!
